if you want a delicious steak cooked just as you want it, with a perfect baked potato ( they have other sides too) in an authentic roadhouse atmosphere this is it. There were few other diners when we went and it was delightfully quiet. we were very comfortable. reasonable prices too. All four of us had the ribeye and were quite happy. Be aware that the menu is simple, old fashioned, without a hint of trendy dishes. I imagine the hamburgers are good. read more

Went to Bisbee to vote and thought we'd give this place a try. Ordered the green chili cheeseburger but I couldn't taste any green chili but server pointed out the stem under the cheese but I really didn't see any or taste any. 1/2 pound burger patty was filing. I called here to place a takeout order and nobody answered the phone and no answering machine so I stopped by to see if they closed permanently and this was Friday night but no note on the door so I went to Dylans and they said the doublep was closed for the month. I've lived in LA, Tucson, Chicago etc. and I've never encountered this before but here in Bisbee? This seems to be the norm. The pizzarama has closed without notice before and so has the La Ramada. Another Bisbee gem off the beaten track for most visitors. Great appetizers and even better burgers. Laid back roadhouse atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to come back and try the steaks. This will be on my regular visitation rounds when in Bisbee. read more

They have very excellent food here and the staff are excellent as well I recommend the burgers and the ribs they are excellent tasty the chef knows how to make a person's mouth water before they even put their mouth on the food itself they stayed open a little later since we got there at about 8:30 and we have a big family really big thanks for that guy's we appreciated it read more

Seriously the worst ribeyes we have ever had. Everything tasted like it was out of a can. We had sautéed mushrooms and onions on our steaks and the mushrooms were directly out of a can, no sautéing, we each got about one slice of onions on our steaks for $.75! The steaks were more fat than meat and about a half inch thick. The mashed potatoes were not real and the brown gravy was tasteless. Cool place with some killer burgers..i must admit i was hesitant to go because i didn't know the area well and didn't know what to expect. What i got was great service amazing burgers and a nice small cantina bar inside. I also thought this place would be full of rowdy people and all there was,,was two families. I knew they had steaks and ribs but i was in the mood of a good juicy home style burger nothing like a fast food burger. I got a western and my lady got the bleu cheese burger. They were 1/2 lb patties perfectly cooked very flavorful and filling. They also had sweet potato tots which is awesome on its own. Of Course since its a bar grill i had to get a beer and my lady tried the margarita and both were on point. I really liked the place and food and will definitely be back for the ribs. Fantastic meal. I had the 16oz ribeye and my 12 year old son had pulled pork sandwich. Best steak I have eaten in a super long time. Chef nailed it on the temp and it was perfect. Salad and baked potato were just amazing. Service is fast, friendly and super polite. read more

Now, finding a steak house in the desert of Arizona is not hard, but finding one that has charm, character, and a truly awesome steak is what makes this place worth the praise. They have a basic menu that covers all that you would expect to find in a roadside steak house, as well as the daily special posted on the door. My steak selection has always been served exactly as ordered. Perfect temperature and texture! Sides and options are perfect, and they will keep your tea filled! Service sucks!! Which is 50% of the deal! And I am paying for it. I talked to talk to snippy rude phone answerer. I think the bartender. Small town not too much competition here. So I guess I have to put up with it when I want to get take out. I didn't know the menu. She acted like I was bothering her! I even asked, "Am I bothering you?" Just a snip back... "No, we are just 'really' busy." What happened to service? It's Friday night and I worked all week. I'm hungry and it's too late to cook. I picked up my order and she was still very mean. Because I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side, she snipped back that "condiments" always go on the side. Then to top it off, she (blond haired heavy-weight bartender) ordered the swiss cheese and mushrooms on the side too! So I got cold swiss cheese and mushrooms? On a mushroom and swiss burger. How "mean" is that..? That is customer service at Double P Roadhouse. I would also like to add, I cannot get my friends to go there anymore with me. We used to go all the time, but we were 'always' overcharged (that person is not there anymore)on our bill. Be careful and know the prices. Oh, and I was told to have a, "Very good day!" Sarcastically, (blond, heavy, bartender), and it was 7:30 at night... I live in Warren and didn't want to drive to Old Bisbee, I wish I had. BTW, Copper Queen Hotel has the best burger (and service) I have ever had in Bisbee. They are too, 1/2 lb burgers that are 'hot' take-out or not. Came in for a meal around 2pm. Visiting the folks who live nearby and had not stopped off at the roadhouse before. We all had burgers, fries, and onion rings. Burgers were 1/2 pounders and really tasty. The fries and onion rings were made fresh, no frozen stuff here. Highly recommended for those looking for a good meal and a couple cold beers. read more

The beer was cold and the waitress was great. Those are the good things. The steak was gray, overcooked with fake char marks. Management was rude and would not allow any discount after the entire steak was returned to the kitchen. She did offer to box the awful steak so we could take it home. Oh, and the steaks are priced at "market value" on the menu. Used to be a decent place to eat. Never again. read more

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I couldn't wait to leave so I could write this review. My mother and I went here to get some dinner since the Bright Spot was closed (highly recommend that spot) Mom ordered ribeye and veggies, I ordered shrimp scampi. When the waitress came with the food it was definitely not what we expected. The meat was thin, over cooked with fat bubbles on top. The vegetables were frozen and still thawing when it was brought to the table. The scampi was a bowl of butter and an extreme amount of garlic. My mom attempted to take a bite and I told her stop. The food was not edible. I brought this to the attention of the bitter brunette waitress, who attempted to charge 28.50 for the fat bubble meat. She said no one has ever complained about the quality of the meat before. I explained this is unacceptable and should not be given to customers. She then insulted me, called me rude and said I am never allowed to return, because of my honest feedback. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND POOR FOOD AWFUL SERVICE I wish I took a picture to show the poor quality of their food. It was unacceptable. read more

Great hole in the wall place in Bisbee. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere definitely lives up to its roadhouse name. The food is decent bar food and the bar is a great place to sit and watch a game. This is my parents' favorite place to go when they come to visit me in Bisbee. My favorite thing is how they support the local firehouse by having an annual chorizo cookout.They have a special place in my heart for giving back to first responders. And by the way, if you're in town during the annual chorizo cookout be SURE stop in and get some. Amazing! read more

This place lives up to the idea of a hole in the wall. Decor is simple and country but the food is amazing!! We both had burgers and holy cow, sooo good!! They came out piping hot along with the fries. Iced tea was definitely homemade. Will be going again when we are in the area. read more

This is the place if you are in the mood for an EXCELLENT burger or steak. The prices are reasonable and even the sides are good, beans, home cut fries, and slaw. The pulled pork is excellent as well. Not a fancy menu but everything on it is very good (which in my opinion is smart). Atmosphere is strictly country and pretty original.
