Not great customer service here. Nobody greets you as you walk in. Oh and be sure to check the seams of your clothing because whoever puts the sensors on their clothing they totally do not place it on the seams. I got a pair of cargo pants and the sensor wouldnt come off. The male cashier kept trying and trying and the sensor wouldnt come off. It was a struggle and then it finally it came off. He shoved everything in a bag all messy. So I decided to double check my items when I got outside. Oh look...... a nice hole was starting where the sensor got stuck and wouldnt come off. 1 wash and the hole would get bigger. Went back in the store and I looked at the placement of the sensor on all the pants of the one I got. All the sensors are placed not on the seam. Theyre going to become a hole....bad worker that censored them. That ruined all of those pants you know. I used to work in retail and you just don't place sensors on clothing items in random spots. It had been sometime since I visited an Old Navy and decided to pop in while in Tempe Marketplace. Since that initial visit a year or two ago, I love to pop in for various basics and affordable trendier pieces. I was super impressed with their selection and wondered why I hadn't been in sooner! They had great options from basics to more in style pieces, at a fraction of many of the other box stores. I also love they have multiple cuts and styles in the same patterns, making it easy to find something for everyone. Their jeans have been quite impressive and extremely comfortable and flattering for. They also have a great athletic line, though I don't have many of their pieces. Lastly, their kids line is also great and always hits the mark when I'm looking for a gifts or items for the kids in my life. Overall, I feel like I make out really well and don't feel too upset if something gets ruined or only lasts a few seasons, though I have found most things have held up well. I rarely think to go here. Since I was close by, I thought I would swing in the store. Some cute one season clothing. I found the onesie (pix) for my nephew. Pretty slick. Workers are masked and it is up to customers whether they wear their mask. Staff were efficient as cheery. Lots of parking in this shopping center. As a result I was always on the lookout for reasonably priced cute clothing. This Old Navy usually has a good selection of baby and kid's clothes and accessories and if I buy online making returns is easy. It's easy to find comfortable and cute clothing for myself too! read more

The store is very large and has many different clothes selection. However, considering the quality, the price is not right and the only part that I would buy something is the clearance section. I prefer BR over this one (and many other stores). The prices are similar or higher, but the quality is also excellent. (Note that ON, Gap, BR, and Athleta are under the same umbrella!) read more

Oh Old Navy, we have a serious love/hate relationship. I LOVE you because of your cute clothes and deals, but I hate the credit card bills, haha! I would say that I do about 50% of my shopping for both my husband and I here. And I know when we start having children, they'll be in the mix as well! If you're like me and frequent Old Navy, I HIGHLY suggest getting their credit card. You seriously save so much money! I love Old Navy for the basics - solid dresses, t-shirts, shorts, pants - you know, things that you can layer with a fun sweater or scarf. I came here the other day to do a return and waited about 30 minutes before being helped. The store was messy, with clothing every where. Other than the two cashiers it didn't seem like anyone was walking around helping customers. When it was my turn to checkout, the guy who had helped me spoke with a bit of an attitude and kept trying to get me to exchange rather than return, which I had said no a few times. I didn't have my receipt for some things and he took my ID for a merchandise card which is fine, but he wrote down all of my information from my ID which I was extremely uncomfortable with. This was only my second or third visit to this location, which I'd rather not return to this specific one. read more

The (who I assume is the manager) is busy chatting with fellow colleagues, but don't worry he will be more than happy to answer any questions in the most condescending way. We live in the desert and even in the winter you need to drink water. I thought I would grab a bottle of water while I was there. $3.00 for a bottle of water!!!!!! It would have been cheaper if I could have made it to a convenience store. Shame on Old Navy for charging that amount for water. Stay hydrated people don't we hear that all the time So Jose thought it was wrong to complain about water. Then here you go. You can never find help on the floor to ask questions, the dressing rooms are not cleaned out regularly so there's no room to hang up your clothing and checkout is slow even when the line is short. And usually cause by the employees chatting about their lives and you have to wait for them to stop. Desert Ridge and Promenade stores. I have raised 3 girls, GIRLS, and they by far where the easiest when shopping for clothes, but my son is the biggest DIVA in the house oh so picky. My son, who is 17, was in need of some new outfits, we had been to many places and he just wasn't finding what he wanted, I had asked him many times what exactly was he looking for but never got a clear answer so was unsure of how places didn't have what he was seeking. We (meaning me) were very close to giving up, and I said let's give Old Navy a try so we did. I knew we were in the right place because as soon as we walked in, he said oh yes I think I found something. This store is very clean and tidy with lots of styles to select. He found plenty of shirts to his liking and jeans that fit him (he is 6"ft 4" and skinny as a light pole, jeans are always an issue to find ) He and I both walked out with a smile so it was a win win for us! Geidi is incredibly rude. Was just in looking for my size in pants and bending down looking through the sizes. There was a rack of hanging jeans directly next to me. As she stood there talking loudly to another coworker about something not related to her job apparently she ran out of patience with me bending over looking. So instead of waiting to put back go back jeans, she squeezes in the tiny 2 foot space and smacks me in the head with jeans as she tried to smash them back into the rack. Like how rude are you? You couldn't wait 20 seconds for me to stand up and move so you just try to squeeze between me and another rack? Nice customer service you snot. read more

Perhaps it's because it's a Thursday and it isn't very crowded, but this Old Navy is REALLY well maintained! Everything on the tables is folded and sorted...not typical of a clothing retailer these days. Added bonus: we were greeted several times throughout the store...not just when we entered. All-in-all, probably the best Old Navy I've been in...though, the true test would be to come during peak shopping time. read more

Straight bitch I was returning and item and was super rude about it when we asked her if we can get a different size girl replied with "do you want me to get it?" So I'm currently sitting at the old navy in Tempe Marketplace, in the presence of the general manager. I come in to exchange some uniform skirts for some pants. I bought the skirts online and they were too big for my daughter. I go in for an even exchange- I bought 2 pants and 2 skirts- all the same price and the lady said she would have to do a return before letting me get the pants. On this days the skirts are lower than what I paid- and the pants for the matter. Instead of just allowing me to swap them out they are asking me to pay the difference- even though I already purchased the skirts with a receipt to show. What a joke. I knew it was going to be a problem because they harassed me at the door- probably because I'm a black male walking in with items in hand a no bag- just a receipt. To make matters worse the GM never stepped in to assist. Poor service. read more

The best customer service I have ever received at this location. They went out of their way to make sure I knew which jeans were on sale so I could be getting the deal I came into the store for. I am amazed with this location! Very clean, well organized and had lots of different options available. The manager Liz was super helpful and nice when there was a mix up on a coupon that I was trying to use. Very happy with my experience!
