Rather than the salesperson double talk try this instead: "We charge to alter the suit when you buy it but any future alterations are free." I went to the one on Indian Bend instead where Gabi sold me a suit that was twice as expensive but I left HAPPY because she was forthright. Caveat: Me my hearing is really bad so it's possible I misunderstood the first clerk who actually was very friendly and helpful - I just felt like I was getting "sold" on the alterations which clearly rubbed me the wrong way.

When I first entered, Dan provided the warmest greeting, I felt like I was entering a 5 star hotel. He even checked back in twice just to see how my experience was going. When I approached Sally at register with a complicated question about an online order, she was so friendly, patient and caring even as the store got busy around us and she assisted many people at once, she still checked in on me while we waited for Anthony to check the back. Thank you Sally!! Finally, I want to shout out Anthony. Anthony went back and forth to the back 3 times to help me find an answer to my question. There were multiple times when Anthony could have easily given up and it would have been completely understandable to end the search, but he put in so much extra effort and honesty with the situation, walking me through possible solutions and going above and beyond to be accommodating and patient. Anthony miraculously found the product I was looking for, and never failed to be friendly and provide excellent service throughout. The men's section was, however, pretty small but I can't blame them for the fact that a lot of guys just wear their clothes until they must be thrown away. I explained that I had used Apple Pay, but the cashier had no idea how to handle the situation or issue my refund. I asked for a manager, but apparently the manager was in a meeting and couldn't provide a resolution either. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I had to be the one to suggest receiving store credit as an alternative. Not once did anyone proactively offer a solution. This store desperately needs better employee training, especially when it comes to handling digital payments and returns. Customers shouldn't have to troubleshoot basic transactions or come up with their own solutions. Extremely disappointing customer service. After leaving the store, researched why the last four digits weren't matching my card. I learned that Apple Pay uses a unique device account number for security purposes, which can differ from the numbers on your physical card. There are ways to identify the correct payment information and troubleshoot these types of returns. It's frustrating that I was able to find this information within minutes, yet the Ross employees couldn't offer a solution. This is something employees should be properly trained to handle, especially with how common digital payments are today.
