I stopped here this week to donate a bag of clothes and towels. If you don't know, all H&M locations accept textile donations (can be clothes that have holes, stained, etc. even boxers, shower curtains, etc.) and recycles by turning them into insulation for housing. And they reward you with a 15% off coupon. Win win! The associates at this location were friendly and helpful. Reason for low rating is that they are raising prices amid the tariffs, like many stores. However, they aren't updating their tags prior so make sure you check the price(s) at the register. I failed to. You'll see the tag says $9.99 but rang up $12.99 and cost more than $9.99 even with my 15% donation coupon. I didn't notice until I got home :( I was at Fashion Sq the next day so I stopped in that location to ask for a price adjustment. The associate refunded me the $3 and confirmed they are raising prices. read more

Stopped here to look for a blazer for a zoom meeting and ended up finding one that was $39.99 but, was marked down to $12.99. I normally wouldn't shop here, but from time to time you can find really good mark downs when you are looking for a particular item!!! This location is pretty big as well as,easy to find, since it's on the corner of the strip mall!! There's plenty of parking onsite. Well this was a horrible experience. Purchased a sale item for $9.99 but was charged $12.99. The shorts didn't fit like I wanted so I went to return. Told no returns on sale items (says on receipt lol) but wasn't told that when I bought them. Anyways the rude round lady at the front says she can't do anything about it. I ask for a manager. Manager says they'll give me the $3 to make up for it and I'll keep the pair of shorts. The round lady then tried saying that they're keeping the shorts and it's a return for only $3! I ask if it's a return I want the $12.99 or at least the $9.99 and she argued saying no that's not what's happening. Manager comes back, says I'm keeping the shorts and getting the $3. Moral of the story, their employees are not trained and the round rude lady at the front needs to go. I will not be shopping at H&M again. read more

This is a pretty spacious H & M, with a wide selection for men, women and kids. If you're looking for maternity clothes for someone though, don't put all your hopes and dreams of procuring that Meghan Markle beige maternity sweater dress at this location (Or probably anywhere since I'm sure it's sold out by now). The only maternity clothes they have are ones accidentally sent here so there's maybe half a rack at most in random sizes. That rack is in the kids section between the baby clothes and boys clothes. The Chandler location does have a fuller selection so if you're looking for something to show off that bodacious baby bump go there. In the women's section they currently have a lot of nostalgic shirts and sweaters. Ever wanted a David Bowie Ziggy Stardust shirt? Or maybe you've always dreamed of wearing a Dirty Dancing sweatshirt so you can protect yourself from the elements (After all, She's Like the Wind). Accomplished my goal of exchanging a pair of shorts that were a size too big. Only one staff member greeted me throughout my entire time shopping and it was not at the register. Once I got to the register the associate asked if I had an account with them. I wasn't sure so he asked if I wanted to be added or if I preferred to look it up to see if I was in their system. I chose to see if I was already in their system. I was a bit put off when the associate handed me the handheld device for me to look it up on my own instead of him doing it. At any retail job I've worked at, I would never expect a customer to do something I would've been just fine entering on my own. I don't shop at H & M often, but, in the future, I think I'll stick with the location inside Chandler Mall as I've had consistent service from their staff. read more

They left security tags on my clothes. I didn't discover this until I arrived home. After calling their support line they want me to drive an hour back to the same store to remove the tags. I just wanted to buy something small real quick. I checked both registers and neither of them had employees working. I waited at the one in the men's section. After waiting a while without any employees to be seen. An employee tells me the register is closed and to go over to the other side. I was trying to tell him that there wasn't anyone there but he was trying to continue in the opposite direction. He had bleached hair. He wasn't very kind when I just wanted to make a purchase. Customers shouldn't feel like an inconvenience but that's how he made me feel. Poor customer service from this employee. He didn't have his badge visible so I couldn't even get his name. read more

It's funny because I usually love shopping here for my grandchildren. This trip I found that the selection for baby girls was very limited and the selection for my 5 year old granddaughter was limited as well. I was looking for a Christmas dress for her and really had very few choices as far as anything holiday. I was looking for 12 month little girl clothes and they did not have much at all. We were kind of forced to get neutral color clothes which I don't care for because when a baby doesn't have much hair it's hard to tell the gender. I like to dress her up and I wasn't able to do it there. I peered in here briefly and found some interesting threads, and am satisfied with my purchases here. One thing about the H&M stores in inland states is that they keep their doors closed, due to the heat outside that can make shopping an uncomfortable experience. In turn, the music is generally turned down more so it doesn't make you feel like you can't hear someone else talking like at a club in Los Angeles. Poor customer service! I wish there was a option for no stars. I just purchased over $100.00 of merchandise at the Tempe Market location and received the worst customer service. One of the items I purchased was of the sales rack. When I questions the price, the girl that was ringing me up was rude and said that the sale price was only on selective styles and the sign states that. I told her that it was deceiving since the writing was small. She automatically cancelled the entire sale without even asking if I did not want the item. I told her that I still wanted the item, so she had to re-ring everything back up. It's very disappointing to receive such poor customer service and this particular employee is allowed to service the public. I am seriously thinking about returning my entire purchase and taking my by business elsewhere. Today after working a long shift. I have a event coming up. I went shopping for some new clothes. I went into H&M to see what they had. I had questions about shirts. I asked a girl that worked there with dark hair that had a pony tail for help. She looked irritated that I was asking her for help. She said, " all our shirts run small". In a rude manner. Making it out like I wouldn't fit them. I'm 5'3 and a 125 pounds. Then she told me to go look at another rack. Then walked off. I had plenty of money to spend. But with her attitude. I won't spend one dime in there! I walked out. If anyone wants to shop in there. DON'T! Customer service is horrible! If this store wants to succeed, better get good customer service. This is a huge location. They offer women, men, and kids clothing. They have all kinds of styles. Their newer looks are located at the front of the store. H &M offers many sales, plus you can find many of their clothes priced decently. Sometimes their clothes run small so I suggest going a size bigger or try on the clothes ahead of time. I'm writing this review from my visit on Friday the 26th of January. I stopped by on a whim since I had a meeting that was cancelled. This has always been a great place for me to find some good clothes at good prices. There was a sale going on and there were some great finds. I found myself in line for the fitting rooms in the men's department. I was behind a young, thin guy who had a pretty large pile of clothes he was trying on. The employee on the floor, named Mitchell was helping him out by running different sizes of clothing to him. As I'm standing there, employee brings the guy some new pants and says, "These are the only ones I could find for you. They're like WAY HUGE, size 36 and 38." Now, I'm saying this, not cause I feel fat-shamed (I don't and he didn't fat shame anyone), or that I expect him to know what size I am, but being size 38, I felt it was a little insensitive to say that within someone else's hearing. Had they been in the dressing area, that would have been one thing, but they were on the sales floor. Seriously, I chuckled to myself cause it was just one of those "sitcom" moments in life. I had planned to let in go and I did, but planned to mention it at the cash register where Mitchell was working. However, in line at the cash register, was behind a couple and Mitchell was working the register. He was friendly, laughing, reminded them of the upcoming sale, thanked them for coming in and wished a great day. Then when I came up, it was like he'd been turned off: no eye contact, literally grunted to my greeting, rang the items up, bagged them, threw the bag on the counter and reached for the next person's items. I don't know if I offended him or what, but I didn't even bother trying to raise the size issues! Either way, if he reads this, I hope he takes to heart that, while I may not be their target demographic, I don't what my size to be thought of as WAY HUGE! lol! read more
