What made the experience even more frustrating was that I had to be the one to suggest receiving store credit as an alternative. Not once did anyone proactively offer a solution. This store desperately needs better employee training, especially when it comes to handling digital payments and returns. Customers shouldn't have to troubleshoot basic transactions or come up with their own solutions. Extremely disappointing customer service. After leaving the store, researched why the last four digits weren't matching my card. I learned that Apple Pay uses a unique device account number for security purposes, which can differ from the numbers on your physical card. There are ways to identify the correct payment information and troubleshoot these types of returns. It's frustrating that I was able to find this information within minutes, yet the Ross employees couldn't offer a solution. This is something employees should be properly trained to handle, especially with how common digital payments are today.

If they take any of your clothes, you just show a government ID. If you want to cash out, you get 25% of what their pricing is. Otherwise, the store credit is 50%. They took about 1/3 of my items and it came to $96ish and I got $48.12 in cash. I wanted to get rid of my clothes and not so much make money so to me it didn't matter but if you're trying to get your money's worth I'd probably sell online instead or do a garage sale. They have costumes, purses, shoes, hats, and a range of clothing pieces. Everyone working is friendly and helpful.
