I was really impressed with this store location. their clothes are so nicely hung and so much more organized than what I usually experience at the other locations that I have been to. staff members are all over and are so willing to help you find what you do and don't even know you need. their prices are more than reasonable and although I'm sure we all wish that they were lower, I feel like their pricing is at least always a bit less than what you might spend at say a target or Walmart store. My hubby came in and found a belt quickly. that was what we came in for. he was shocked at not only their selection but their prices and clearly visible price tags too. this was such an awesome store to shop. too bad I didn't have more room in my luggage. I could have seriously gone on a shopping spree here with all the things that I was looking at and could easily find. I wish the location nearest me were more like this one. read more

I had a return from marshall's and you have always been able to return them at tjmaxx and she looked at me like i was stupid and goes we haven't done that for 7 months. My favorite thing about the store is at the employees. I'll take the front parking spots right in front of the store so no customers can ever park there. I remember a time when employees had to park at the back of the parking lot so that customer's got the front parking, but not at this location so be prepared to walk. read more

I'm giving two stars due to the fact that they never have enough cashiers. And the one cashier that's always there is this old lady who's extremely pushy trying to get you to open a credit card. I understand but when you say no thank you,don't continue pushing it. Anyways, this store is always extremely clean. Things are always very organized and I'm happy to spend hours looking through everything. The thing I love the most is that they have a lot of things Korean base there with the beauty products. I go there a lot to find what I cannot find in other stores. I find the pricing fair with most of the stuff. Some of the stuff is overpriced but that's normally on dresses and I think they do that so that when they discount it they're not taking a loss. My other favorite T.J. Terrible customer service. Very rude cashier (Racist) and the manager was less than helpful. All we asked for was an apology from the cashier for her rude behavior but she refused to apologize and the only thing the manager did was apologize on her behalf. People like that cashier should not be in customer service roles. read more

I've been to this tj maxx a couple times and have always found really cute things. Never had an issue until today. I was ringed up by a old women cashier and she made me have an uncomfortable experience. I understand that cashiers are pushed to meet their numbers on open a tj maxx card but if I'm not interested then I should still get customer service. The old women spoke happy at first when she saw the items I brought up to the register but her whole demeanor changed when I politely said I wasn't interested in opening up a tj maxx card. I always have great luck at this TJ Maxx! We were on the hunt for a coffee table and found the perfect wood/iron one here for such a great price! They even brought it out to my car and loaded it up for me. I also scored a Drybar hair dryer on clearance that is literally life changing and was $50 off of retail! I've been wanting one forever so when I saw it, I had to have it. I always get my hair products here too because they're half the price than Ulta, etc. I'll for sure be back when in the area again! read more

This TJ Maxx isn't awful, but it's not my favorite by any means. I live close by and drive far (about an hour) out of my way to get to another store with WAY better skin products (especially kits from Peter Thomas Roth, Kate Summerville, believe, glow FAB, and so many more. They also have a minimal cosmetics section, hardly any hats. They do have some cute higher end clothing, department. I'd hit up Mesa, Prescott, or any other one, but in a pinch, you can always find a cute gift- also, it is much smaller because the home store is AMAZING FOR HOME DECOR and more. I stopped by today and had an issue with my T.J.Maxx card, the employee Jenny and manager Kim D we're absolutely amazing helping me navigate the app and get the issue resolved with the CC company. I am a frequent shopper at this location. Store is always stocked with a wide variety of good deals. Staff is helpful and timely. My only complaint is they push their credit card a little to aggressively. No means no....not convince me! The customer should not have to decline 3-4 times. read more

Yesterday I purchased 5 tops. It was hard to find that many I really liked. I didn't think the selection was as wonderful as it usually was, perhaps due to Covid. BUT you can't try them on. I got home and tried them all on but they were too big. I took everything back today. It's 20 minutes away. Not including my time, energy and gas (that's additional "cost" to the clothing). I was able to find one item in a smaller size and picked up a different top too. Got home, that additional top is too small. I have to make ANOTHER run to the store. But THIS TIME I'm not getting another item UNTIL THE DRESSING ROOMS ARE OPEN. I can go to other stores and try things on, why not here? You have 1 case per 10,000 people in your zip code. It is not uncommon to find an expensive belt, handbag, scarf or sunglasses tucked inside. Today I found a Valentino Garavani Rockstud hand bag for only $329. I also purchased Nina Ricci de Rigo sunglasses for only $80. These two items are very difficult to find and are way more expensive on the internet. I arrived early and the store associate was very patient while I scanned several items. My neighbors are jealous of my new goodies, but I won't share any details with them. read more

I love TJ Maxx been shopping there from LA to Atlanta to NorthCarolina...where I finally opened a TJMaxx credit card. They honored me with a card for a line of credit of 300.00 I used every penny..always making my payments on time. 6 months into the acct I lost my job...TJ Maxx lowered my line of credit to 100.00 without my knowledge. I called they said after looking at my credit report they had NO choice but to lower it. Okay...whatever. Its the holidays guess what I'm in TJMAXX with my CC with a 100 line of credit..picking up stocking stuffers. BTW I ot a new job making more $ then before. Get o the registar.transaction declined..TJMaxx closed my acct..without a call email or letter. I was in shock. Left everything on the counter...and went to my car to type this review. I see now why lines are always so long...they can't keep employees !!! Cause they surely don't know how to treat their customers. I can love another store...Ross is just down the way!!! I have shopped at this location for many years .. spent a lot of money here. Their staff is unprofessional and untrained. Rather than a cashier getting assistance for a transaction cancellation, she mistakenly charged my credit card twice. After two months I am still trying to resolve her error with my credit card company. If you want to avoid headache and a bad experience, I suggest shop elsewhere. read more

I'm not a big fan of TJ Maxx to begin with so don't expect a good review. They make themselves sound like an awesome discount store but it really is no better than a Ross, JCPenney, or even Target (that's across the street). The prices, I feel, are still too high. For example, I went in there looking for a purse with a $20 budget and came up empty, but I went over to Target and found a cuter one, compared to the $120 ones at TJ Maxx, for $18. Also, the employees there always look at me like something smelly just walked in and don't really seem like they care if I buy something or not. I've never been greeted or directly talked to at this store like other sales associates at other stores. I know that when I used to work retail I tried my hardest to make a customer feel welcome. I'm just asking for more affordable prices and personable service. All in all, not my favorite shopping place, and I probably won't be back. I love TJ Maxx! This is the closest location to me so I am here often. You can't beat their prices on most items they offer. Their women's clothing department is great and it does seem to get updated often. The men's department, not so much. Their shoes is where they lack terribly. Their selection is very minimal and very outdated. I also love their inventory on accessories. If you're looking for stuff for the home, you won't find much here. This is not my favorite location, but I do pop in here when I need something and I'm in the area. They layout is a little off. The aisles are narrow and the shelves always seem to be in disarray. Sometimes I feel like the items stocked here can be rejects from other TJ Maxx stores. I find more broken items or items missing pieces at this location that the 2 Scottsdale locations. For some reason the floor near the registers always seems sticky, too. read more

I love TJ-MAXX the Paradise Valley location is still my favorite! This is a great place to come for a last minuet affordable outfit. You can get everything for your night out. A dress, heels, jewelry, handbag even new shampoo to get your hair looking fresh and clean! I do love the fact they have a beauty section here, its nice to know I can find those expensive products I never buy for myself here at a reasonable price. Its right next to the jewelry section though so have some self control! When it comes to the fashion here its a little harder to have as much control because they always have the latest styles in fashion and they make sure to keep it clean and tidy so you can actually enjoy your shopping experience. This is also an awesome place to come to find house warming gifts for those friends you love, or just to spice up your own living space! I swear my last house was fully decorated thanks to TJ-MAXX! Majority of the time the staff at all locations are very friendly and helpful, I've only ever had one experience with an older lady working at the dressing room that had a very unpleasant disposition...
