I am a long time customer and in Nordstrom Scottsdale I found the kindest most approachable skincare and cosmetic professional Alina Cain, counter manager for Chantecaille line. I walked in to pick up one item and asked for help at the Chanel counter ( the line I mostly purchase) and a sales rep waived her hand in the air not making eye contact for me to go to the corner of the cosmetic department to find the one beauty eyelash tool I was looking for. I didn't understand so I asked for help again and I was greeted by Alina. She walked me over , showed me the product and was willing to move aside for the Shishido rep to ring me up but I asked Alina if I could ask a few questions and she selected two more products from her line she represents for me that I simply love. Alina was a breath of fresh air. Approachable, professional, and very kind I have shared with about 20 of my closest friends who to go see at Nordstrom's. read more

Always love shopping thru Nordstrom. I usually hit the coffee bar in the daytime. I loved seeing the beautiful clothes in this season. I love the hair care section, I forgot to go thru men's skin care. I love that brand and forgot the name but it's super moisturizing so I usually get a lip balm and a hand cream. I used to like nordstrom but I feel really cheated by their app. Apparently they've started selling 3rd party items from other vendors with a completely different return policy. I can't just make my returns to nordstrom anymore, but now I have to package and ship and it's a whole hassle. And worse, they DO NOT make this clear when you're purchasing. I would have elected NOT to buy from these 3rd parties. So I'm really upset. I guess I either have to be super careful of what I buy when I use the app or I just shouldn't use it at all. I'll probably just delete it. They don't even have a setting thay will allow me to remove 3rd party vendors from search results. read more

Spoke with Chris the tailor! Extremely helpful helped with with some measurements for a wedding I have coming up as a groomsman! Was previously ripped off at an alteration store for $10 to have them tell me I was a size 38 waist along with other botched measurements. Chris was extremely professionally and helpful in finding me what I needed! read more

Here's an update about Nordstrom at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and it's not good. The bathrooms were once again a fiasco. I used to love Nordstrom for their reliably clean restrooms - no longer. Once again, they had a handwritten Out of Order sign that looked like a child wrote it, and was taped up with bright blue painter's tape. It's hard to get any assistance at the store, and many of the salespeople act as if it is a nuisance to assist. The one exception is the YC section (formerly BP), where they young adult salespersons are the most helpful in the whole store. I keep going back occasionally, hoping against hope that things might be better. read more

1/10/2026 at 1:40PM at Scottsdale Fashion Square Nordstroms men's clothing area, I went into the men's fitting room at the lower level to try a pair pants on. While undressing, a female Nordstrom employee knocks on my door and asks me to get dressed and leave the room because someone else was using it. I could not believe it. So rude. So I rushed to get my clothes back on without being able to try on the pants. As I'm leaving, she asks me if the pants fit. I was so confused because she just asked me to get dressed and leave the stall. I told her that I'm not going to bother now and I left. I spend thousands of dollars a year at Nordstroms but because if this rude employee I will not shop here again. Nordstroms, please hire more thoughtful employees. read more

I decided to surprise my wife with a Tory Burch purse. When the purse arrived it did arrive with tags on it, but it was used as there was dirty money in the purse plus a dirty Tesla key card. I contacted Nordstrom's they wanted me to return the purse. The hassle to return the item is a pain. So therefore I asked for just a discount they refused. An employee named Juan went above and beyond by kindly going back to get me a cup of water. He did not have to do that, but his thoughtfulness and kindness truly stood out. Always a good experience, their staff is very kind, attentive and knowledgeable. They have a great selection on all types of clothing , accessories, makeup and shoes. The store is extremely well organized and price points for all shoppers with a great selection and great sales. Whether you picking up an order, working with a stylist or getting something altered you're in good hands . The cafe is also really nice. Really poor experience in the makeup department. Firstly, the associates take zero interest to give there honest opinions on what colors suit your skin color and then when one goes to return them, they refuse to exchange the items for the same price. Nordstrom needs to train associates to be empathetic and work with customers, not make then run away. What's the point of having so many associates who cannot help with a simple even exchange with valid receipt. Clothes in the petite department are shrinking and hardly anything available at store. It's challenging finding styles unlike when it was few years back. read more

I ordered a dress online for a wedding and received it the day before the wedding. I quickly tried it on and it fit nicely. I didn't check it closely. I wore it to the wedding the next day. When I got home I hung it up and noticed there were lots of pilling on the upper part of the dress. I only wore the dress for a few hours and didn't dance or anything. I called the 1-800 Nordstrom customer service and they suggested I bring it in to the local Nordstroms. The young lady that helped me look at the dress was pretty quick with her decision to refund me for the dress. I've never tried to return something I've worn before so was happy with the customer service and quick decision. read more

Acts of thoughtful kindness abound here. Accompanied my wife to a mani/pedi here. On the way, we stopped by the sunglasses dept because she's so frustrated with her current (non-Nordstrom) sunglasses. Solomon immediately stepped up, quickly fixed the problem, absolutely refused to take a tip, smiled beamingly and wished us well. Wow! Upstairs, Cindy ( the very gracious traffic manager in Spa Nordstrom somehow saw that I was a least a pint low in my personal hydration) immediately served me a bottle of water - GoldyLocks style- just right. What a delight to see that while the world around us seems to be deteriorating, the folks at Nordstrom are still doing the same thoughtful things they've always been doing. Hallelujah !! Drove 50 minutes to exchange some shoes and they didn't have in stock so they opted to mail them to me. I had to return them then rebuy them. I had used a Nordstrom note and asked to make sure that the amount I was charged was the same. He assured me it was. I got home and realized that he didn't apply my Nordstrom note. I called and was told since it had been more the 30 min they couldn't fix the transaction. So frustrating. They ended up after 3 phone calls fixing the problem. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Nordstrom Spa located at Scottsdale Fashion Square last week. Nordstrom Spa used to be iconic. They made you feel very elegant and special evertime you were there. From providing you with a nordstrom robe and serving clients a pre massage beverage and footsoak, the whole experience was unmatched by other spas. Unfortunately the Nordsrom brand is of no importance to the employees or management working at this location. None of the typical courtesies you would expect at even a low end Spa were extended to me during or after my massage. I called the next day and expressed my concerns to the "beauty manager" Janel. I could tell from her reaction and responses she couldn't care less. It is sad to see the Nordstrom brand has taken such a decline. read more

SERVICE IS LACKING There always used to be people asking me if I needed assistance no matter which area I was browsing, but the past few times I've came there is no one to help me in the shoe department. I came on a busy weekend, and I've also came on a slow weekday morning. Everyone around me gets asked if they need help, but no one has asked me anything. I feel like I have to order my shoes online, and just return them if they don't fit. But it really sucks that I drive out of my way to come to this Nordstrom location and no one helps me. Disgusting customer service by racist and disturbing staff. She lied to me directly and demanded that I used my credit card to pay for an item, as it was apart of their anniversary sale. I know that regardless, a customer can purchase an anniversary item without being a card holder. You just wouldn't get the item on sale... since I've worked at Nordstrom before. Not only did I find this to be abrasive and creepy, but the shoes weren't even apart of the sale. And she still used my credit card to complete the purchase. She did not offer to redo the transaction. Not to mention, she gave me the wrong size shoe and lied straight to my face saying they fit perfectly! I made the huge mistake of trusting her judgement because I knew something was wrong but realized when I got home that she intentionally gave me the wrong size. I love Nordstrom and am bummed the one in my hometown closed a year or so ago. They have such a large selection of items that you can do all your shopping here and even go to the coffee bar or the cafe on the third flood and eat! We shopped for shoes, clothes, bags, and activewear. They have wonderful name brands inside, and if they don't have what you need in-store they can order it will free shipping and free returns. Their return policy is amazing and always has been. If you didn't know there is a Nordstrom cafe on the third floor - now you do! Always check it out! Was browsing shirt and tie areas to pick pieces for an upcoming wedding. Somebody from Nordstrom approached me and asked if I needed help. I described what I was looking for and he helped me pick some pieces. At checkout I was charged a $75 "designer fee". This fee was not negotiable and I was forced to pay it for the advice. My review is for Spa Nordstrom, specifically my mani/pedi with Isabel. I hands down had the best manicure and pedicure of my life, Isabel was absolutely AMAZING. I can't rave enough about my experience, time, and quality of my manicure/pedicure. I was fortunate enough that my mom let me use her year end perks towards a spa day for myself. From the second I arrived, I was welcomed and greeted with water, a lavender neck wrap, and a foot soak. Isabel washed the bottoms of my feet and proceeded to take me to our private room. I was whisked in to a zero gravity chair, and the rest was a dream. My mani/pedi included a lotion scrub, hand and foot massage, and a paraffin dip. I also had my fingernails and toes polished with quick-dry polish. Isabel was amazing, talented, patient and so friendly. She was like talking to a life long friend - and she knows her stuff. Isabel, if you're reading this, thank you for the amazing service! This was truly a special treat for me, but I can't recommend the spa manicure and pedicure enough. read more

Love, love, love Nordy's. My wallet might not be such a fan, but I am! Always find something here. I can't speak much for the parking, as I park near Dillard's and usually take a walk over, but from what I remember it's in a garage. (The one time I've tried parking in said garage, I was trying to do an online pickup order, and the garage was PACKED. Not one spot to be had to park and get my purchase. I got frustrated, gave up, and parked elsewhere and just walked to the store). Not the fault of Nordstrom's, though. Busy mall, busy store, it probably happens pretty often. Go see Stephanie or Luis in designer shoes! They'll take great care of you and you'll have some laughs along the way. Also, Natalie in designer handbags- I'm not sure if they each have separate designers they're in, or they work the whole area, but I was in YSL at the time. Soloman in the little designer sunglasses box-- across from the cafe area in the front of the store, is a hoot! You will have a blast with him! My mom always stops to visit him regardless if she's buying glasses or not. I DO COMPLETELY agree with the reviews that mention bringing the candles alll in one place. Apothke, Voluspa, Harlem Candle Co, and others are upstairs in the home-goods. Dyptique, Tom Ford, (I believe) Malin and Goetz(Sp?) , and others are downstairs off to the side of makeup/skincare. While I don't mind getting some steps in, for the sake of not assuming you're going crazy, yes. Put them together! BOPIS orders are usually pretty quick. Obviously, the earlier in the morning you place the order, the faster it's ready. And be advised you no longer pick it up near shoes-- the little area has moved up to the third floor, in back, kind of off to the side. In short, always a pleasure to be here.
