I met her 2 years ago during a work trip (I live in NYC) and she blew me away with her product knowledge, from skincare to makeup. She introduced me to a new routine and taught me easy application techniques that even someone like me (by no means a makeup expert) can easily replicate. This was the first time I was able to actually copy the look I got in store at home. Even though I have a Saks across the street and another Neiman's nearby in NJ, I've only been ordering from Lana. She always texts when there's a sale and goes above and beyond every single time. She is such a pleasure to work with and she really is an incredible makeup artist. Had a really unpleasant experience the other day at Neiman Marcus. I had a return I needed to make and approached a woman who appeared to be working in the dress section. I politely asked if she worked there as the individual was not wearing a name tag and also the lack of any greeting or acknowledgment as we approached her. She quickly responded that she wouldn't be talking to me if she didn't work there. Her tone and attitude really set both my husband and I back. She continued to be short with me throughout processing my return. Although I like to occasionally shop here, I don't think I'll be back. Even walking through the cosmetics area at the entrance, the people working there are extremely unwelcoming. I'm originally from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and used to regularly go to the flagship store. Never in a million years would I have had this type of interaction there. She raved about how much she loved it so I texted Mira to see if she could order & ship another bottle for my grandmother before we left on vacation in a week. Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Discriminatory & Unprofessional Experience in the Men's Department To Brody the Manager of the Men's Department. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my boyfriend received from Lily and Kash in your men's department. I want them reprimanded for their behavior. During his visit, Lily walked past him twice without offering any assistance. Another associate had to go and get her to help him. When she finally approached, he told her he wanted to switch out a wallet he was given as a gift, she snatched the wallet he was attempting to exchange and ran to the back with it, without explanation. She was gone for over 15 min. Upon returning, she accused him of not purchasing the wallet, which is both untrue and offensive. The wallet was a birthday gift from me, purchased legitimately. She then asked him several questions that came off accusatory. She had the same disrespectful tone with me when I called her to explain how I'm the one who purchased the wallet!!! She was rude, short, dismissive and unprofessional! This experience made my boyfriend feel like a criminal, as though he was being profiled rather than treated as a valued customer. That kind of conduct is unacceptable, especially in an establishment that prides itself on luxury service and professionalism. Kash walked behind him several times, and his mannerisms made my boyfriend extremely uncomfortable. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and addressed appropriately. First off, I've never been in this store, and the diverse high quality collection of mainly ethically sourced, designer, high end Italian, and simply stunning clothing, is enough to keep me going back. After that I noticed how clean the store is kept, by the overall very engaged and present staff. Each department layout was very well thought out which is always super helpful with so many great options. This staff in general didn't just keep the store tidy, but every employee from the moment I walked in tried to offer me assistance, everyone was truly available and excited to guide their customers. I denied help a few times so I could take it all in for the first time. Eventually I was ready for some guidance and David Blackman, lucky me, was the man to help me out. David took all the care in the world to first understand my occasion, a friend's wedding, my style interests, and my values behind ethical sourcing. He proceeded to give me a tour of the whole place, and helped me for over an hour finding the outfit that might, hopefully not, steal the show from my best friend during her wedding. The amount of care and conversation he put into this guidance relieved all my stress of buying designer clothes for the first time because I feel so confident about my purchases, I'm not even thinking about the price now. These are investment pieces I know I'll love until the threads are enjoying their last moments, which will be a long time down the road, everything in the store is high quality. And he didn't stop there, he's helping work with his in-house tailor to adjust my belt to fit, scheduling a rush order of the shoes in my size to make sure I get them before the wedding, and even gave me a stellar recommendation for a nearby seamstress to help with the suit since his in house tailor was a little too booked. Without David's professional, courteous, and friendly help, I'd be pulling together a last minute, regular old outfit as usual. This locale is open for business but is bound by the rules and regulations set forth by the mall. Lots and lots of ways we used to shop have changed. One used to walk into the department store and shop, shop and shop some more. Germs and viruses exist in nature that have mutated to cause damage to humans more than ever; so new rules to shop by. To comply with new regulations and restrictions in this post COVID world, call in your order ahead and pick it up. Another way as I leaned by wandering in is shopping with a personal shopper. The experience I had with a personal shopper was fab. When I needed a size it was their, these days know your size because no dressing rooms. It's a look at that new dress or blouse am I a two or four looking at yourself in a three way mirror. Most sites these days allow you to try on clothes virtually just download from their website for instructions. I have not done this yet but virtual reality for clothing is sweet. Christmas is here. As I wait for the clerk to see if a size is a available I ran across these teddy bears that are so cozy cuddling the Christmas trees here. The little bear in the Christmas tree just begs me to take ti home. The best of things come in pairs, so now those cuddly bears will be next to each one of the twins come Christmas. How is that cuddly, soft, fluffy teddy bears just make me swoon? On this particular trip, the beauty counter was a last minute visit where if I had not mentioned what I needed would of gone unheard. Speaking up and using my "voice," I inquired if the Guerlain counter was available. The store employee wasted no time in making sure my needs were fulfilled. Guerlain counter awaits. Having always used a moisturizer it's time to restock. COVID has placed boundaries on when and sometimes what we can get and order via mail. Recently the Guerlain site has back ordered some of my favorites I'm glad they have them here. The Orchidee anti aging creme is phenomenal in regenerating new cells and tissue. It has turned back time for me. Luckily they had this moisturizer plus with no waiting. After paying the cream was gift wrapped free of charge, samples were given to me, and the service was excellent. Tis that time of year to celebrate and bring cheer. The staff was so helpful to me here. The personalized service was excellent. The attention to detail by the staff superior. As a customer the staff complies with COVID rules and regulations. I recently had a very pleasant experience here. I was looking for a particular dress I had seen on their website and was immediately helped by an associate, she guided me to the dress section and the associate in the dress section quickly found the dress. I'm so glad I didn't buy it online because when actually trying it on I ended up being a size smaller than I thought I was. It was the last small but the chiffon was pretty wrinkled so I asked how I should handle it at home to fix it, which they said with steaming only but suggested they take it downstairs to be steamed for me so I wouldn't have to worry about that, and they walked down to do so. It took about 15 minutes so I browsed the rest of the dress section. She even provided us bottled water before she left. When she returned with the dress, it was pretty much perfect and so I bought it! I've had a poor experience here previously but that was awhile back, and it had kept me away ever since, but that dress brought me back and I'm glad it did. Much improved customer service. I'll certainly be back. For parking, they have their own parking garage as well as valet. read more

Love the selection of designer products here, but every single time I've shopped here has been a complete disappointment. 1st time was online bought Ysl foundation it arrived severely expired, used no cap, no box, in a knotted plastic bag. Was refunded immediately. 2nd time I spent 2k online to get the advertised gift card. I got only received half the card and had to contact customer service 4x before actually getting the other half. The women's shoe department illegally charged me tax for Scottsdale when the item was being shipped to my address in a different tax bracket. She also told me that I we are paying for people to live in Scottsdale so i have to pay the tax. Unfortunate experience, with horrible follow up, follow through, and an extremely disappointing result. I left a suit with their team in April 2024, and it fell off the planet. they told me they could use fabric from my jacket that was worn to repair belt loops on the pants that had begun to wear. Pants were great otherwise. They sent them off to Chicago and I never heard from them again. I began following up in the Fall, would speak with someone, they'd promise follow up and I didn't hear back. I finally pushed hard to get answers over the past week or so. Multiple calls to them, calls dropped, got passed to Chicago and told they couldn't transfer me back, on and on. Their Operations Manager, Michelle called me after hours a few nights ago, promising prompt resolution and what seemed like personal follow up and follow through. Instead they seem to have passed me to a younger salesman, who was nice enough, but seemed to have zero pull for me. He texted me to connect and when we spoke he told me my clothes were there, they got sent out, no repair, and returned to Scottsdale. No idea how long they'd been back. told me the repair was not possible and asked me if I was around to get my suit. I told him to toss it, this has been a total loss and complete waste of a ton of my time. I'm the only one that put the energy and effort into getting to this point, and he told me that he sometimes gets really good deals and would love to call me when he comes across one. No accountability from anyone higher up, no other contact, no offer to make a client happy in some other manner. Just an attempt to give me a good deal on a sale in the future. We were very disappointed in the way we were treated when we were looking around the home goods area. My daughter in law was checked out every time she looked at something. Both my kids love Nambe and own many Pieces. The sales Lady gave them dirty looks My son bought a Box of candy in a cool Micky Mouse box. My husband bought some jelly's and a chocolate bar. We stopped by the Neiman Marcus in Scottdale Fashion Plaza. I needed a new suit for a Ribbon Cutting and wanted to high end stress free experience. Well that didn't happen. It started out fine. We started looking at suits and were helped by an employee. I settled to try on a Giorgio Armani suit. We asked if the suit would be able to be altered in 2 days as we were flying out. We asked this before looking for other accessories, Shirts, shoes, belt. The salesperson came back and said he had checked with the tailor and that wouldn't be a problem. So we picked out the rest of the accessories. I went to the dressing room and tried on the clothes. Then the tailor measured everything and I changed and paid for everything. Over $6000! Then then tailor says I'm taking tomorrow off and I can't have the suit ready be Thursday. It was Tuesday. STRANGE since the salesperson had supposedly checked just a little while before and it was no problem. He then said just a minute. He made a call. He then said it won't be a problem as I'm taking you to Express Tailoring just next to the store and everything is setup for you. They will do the altering for you. So we arrive following him. I then get measured and they tell us we will have it done before the close of business. Great or so I thought. Then it is time to pick up the suit and IT WASN'T ALL TAKEN CARE OF!!I was billed $265. Is this outrageous for minor alterations. YES because we wouldn't have shopped further at Neiman Macus if we had been told that the tailor wouldn't have to suit ready for us before we flew out. When he said everything was taken care of and most normal alterations at Neiman Marcus are free or a slight charge, I shouldn't have to pay $265 because the salesperson lied about the tailor. Firstly, the mall this Neiman's is located in is easily one of the best in the country. That being said, this Neiman's store is part of what makes the entire mall so nice. They have a large selection of casual wear and formal wear. I was able to pickup a lot of items that I haven't seen at the St. Louis Neiman's location. The staff was very helpful and shipped me all the items I purchased at no extra cost. The variety of items at this location and the service will keep me coming back. read more

The Chanel store is severely lacking at this location. I lost count how many times I went in and there is just no stock of anything. The sales associates were nice, but most can't do much about stock and aren't able to locate stock in another store. I have been to other Chanel stores where the SAs can locate stock for you and message you if they get anything in you're looking for. I'm uncertain why this location is unable to do that, maybe it is due to being a small store and isn't high priority on list of stock reshipments. I was hoping to stick to this store since it's local to me, but unfortunately may need to continue Chanel shopping out of state unless the stock stabilizes here better. If I could give this a 0 I would have. I had a very unpleasant experience today. I bought a pretty pricey fragrance yesterday 7/3/23. After getting home, decided to unwrap it, and came to find out the bottle was empty. I was extremely disappointed. I drove back the same afternoon only to find out they were closed. I ended up going this afternoon 7/4/23, and was given a horrible experience. I was told by 4 different employees, that they would not be able to honor their mistake and instead started questioning me on why the bottle was empty and also why was it a tester bottle that was placed in the wrapped box. This box was given to me wrapped and sealed, how would I know? Why would I have any idea of why that bottle was placed there? I found their questioning extremely irresponsible. Nonetheless, A half an hour passes and 4 employees later, the female sales associate tells me this will be a one time cater to us for this horrible experience caused on their end, in which they will give us a new bottle. They assumed it was our fault that we did not do our due diligence in checking the item before we left the premises. I guess from now on I will have to authenticate each and every item I purchase from Neiman Marcus, since they are not even sure if it's authenticated or not. I never expected this would happen to me here, out of all places. I will definitely not be shopping at this location again. Great store to find most designer goods. My friend and I were dress shopping for a special event. We were looking for a certain style of dress and found a sales associate by the name of Ashley. She was incredible. She selected a few dresses for my friend to try on and was very attentive. My friend ended up take 2/3 dresses she tried on. Even though she had a few other clients we never once felt forgotten about. I have never had such great service at this location until now. If you order anything from Neiman Marcus, do not expect that you will ever receive it. If you buy anything that has an attached gift card, do not ever assume that the gift card will be good. Neiman's is perpetrating an ongoing scam with their tiered gift cards. The scam works like this: they will advertise tiered gift cards on their website where the more you spend the more you will receive in gift cards . The earned gift cards are supposed to be sent out after merchandise is mailed and received by purchaser. The only problem is you never receive the items you've ordered, or you'll get a message that the item you ordered is back ordered and here is what they suggest as a substitute item. If you pick the substitute item and buy it, your gift card is no longer valid. In November 2022 I purchased thousands of dollars of gifts at Neiman's for my clients. At the time I purchased these gifts, they all had a promotion where for every $250 you spent you got a $50 gift card. After making my purchases, I received emails that the items I had purchased were no longer available, but that I could substitute in an item, and there were suggestions given as to which items would work to substitute. You pick the substitute items which are then delivered and you think everything is OK and your gift card will come to you, however, your gift card has been canceled because of the substitution. Since November I have placed dozens of calls to Neiman's customer service, to the Scottsdale store and even left messages for the store manager, Tim Braun, which have never been returned. I went into the store this weekend and talk to a customer service person who told me "never order anything off the website as you will never receive it". Neimans is running a fraudulent scheme to drive up sales by offering tiered gift cards. When they have no intentions of ever providing gift cards offered, and in most cases, they don't even have the merchandise to ship that is purchased.. Since neither the store manager nor their customer, service department is willing to make good on the gift cards that are due to me I have filed complaints with the Arizona Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, leaving reviews on yelp and several other areas to warn people about the fraudulent scheme that Neiman's is perpetrating. This is so sad in many ways as I love shopping at Neiman's for many years. So, immediately after posting my review, Neiman's customer service posted on my review to contact them that they would take care of the issues immediately. I contacted Neiman's customer service via the email they sent me and explained my situation, they put me in touch with a customer service manager, who assured me the issue would be resolved. Several days later, I received an email from the person I was assigned to who like everybody else at Neiman customer service claims that because I substituted out items on my purchases when the items I purchased weren't available, the tiered gift cards that I qualified for were canceled. they also said they would look into the fact that I ordered an item in January that was showing backordered after I purchased it and would be shipped March 1, 23. The item never shipped, the customer service department never returned my calls after the original contact declining the tiered gift cards that were due to me. Several days later, after no response from the customer service department I called in and requested cancellation of the item that was back ordered since it appeared it was not going to ship. I was told the item would be canceled. As of today, four days later, the item still has not been canceled, so once again, the customer service department is worthless. I do have to say that my complaint was also forwarded to the local Neiman store in Scottsdale. I received a call from the store manager, Tim B. Who did everything in his power to try and fix the situation. I was very impressed that he stepped in and helped take care of an issue that he neither caused nor was his store involved with. For this, I am very thankful that Tim stepped up, but I'm still disgusted with their online customer service department. read more

My husband ordered my bday gift and the box it was shipped in was cut open and resealed, gift stolen. Neiman Marcus refuses to replace the stolen item.
