Such a cute place and great breakfast!…read more Visited on a Friday morning for brunch. They were moderately busy with parties inside and outside but we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered: Breakfast Tots Grilled Fruit & Brie Berry lemon cheesecake waffle Coffee flight Everything was amazing. I love tater tots and adding the breakfast staples on top made it 5x better. The only thing that would knock it out of the park is some salsa. My friend enjoyed their grilled fruit and Brie. I really enjoyed the berry lemon cheesecake waffle. The waffle was light but perfectly crisped. Presentation was 10/10. Located in downtown Riverbank. Really cute downtown. Worth the detour and drive. Looking forward to coming back.

If you're planning a Saturday or Sunday visit you definitely want to make a reservation! Based off my first visit I would have give this place 4 stars. The drinks are delicious, the food is incredible with good portions, and everything of course looks great visually as well. The main con the first visit was that service was extremely slow and there was a drink ordered that was completely forgotten about, however they were clearly short staffed and when we did have service she was very apologetic and friendly and comped the beverage so we had no complaints. We went back this month for my birthday and while everything we did have was once again delicious, they were out of a decent portion of the menu. Off the top of my head they were out of all flavors of deviled eggs, pulled pork, tuna for the poke stack and poke bowl, risotto balls, some wines, and a couple other things I don't recall. The first couple times the waitress said something we wanted was out we didn't mind and pivoted, especially since she said those were the only items they were out of. However, it quickly became evident that was not the case. She said the reason was it was Sunday and they are only open Thursday-Sunday so they often run out of stock during the Sunday rush. Like I said earlier, the last time I was there on a Sunday there was no issue with items being unavailable, and I feel like if this is a recurring issue maybe that's something that should be looked at when ordering for the week? But I also am not in the restaurant business so who knows maybe this isn't that unusual. It was just a bummer to go for my birthday excited to try certain things, only to ultimately end up with a chicken Caesar salad (which was still good though!). There were still pros with this recent visit, again everything looked and tasted great and the service was friendly and much quicker than the previous visit. The mimosa flights are fun and there's a ton of flavors to choose from. We got a seasonal peach toast appetizer to share and it was so good. I look forward to coming back soon to give it another shot and will update once I do!

We had the country fried steak which was probably the best one I have ever had in my entire life! My sons had chorizo and eggs and the other one had chocolate pancakes, ham and eggs. We also got a Nutella Crepe because my youngest had never had a real crepe before. The food was all amazing. We cleaned every plate between a 47 year old, 13 & 8 year old! We couldn't stop eating!! The place was clean and for such a busy brunch we were sat very quickly! Service was amazing as well! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional! They were so hard working turning those tables over and checking on tables all the time. We didn't have to wait for plates to be cleared or refills of Iced Tea!! Like I said I can't believe I haven't been back to this place in such a long time but that is going to change!! I will be back as much as I can! Especially to support a local family owned restaurant!

This was our first visit to Lucille, and I'm pretty sure it won't be our last…read more I arrived about 15 minutes before their lunch service officially began at 11:00 and threw them a little curve by asking if I could order lunch early. They rolled with it without hesitation, which I always appreciate. My wife was meeting me a little later, and they timed everything beautifully. The food was on the table only about five minutes before she arrived, and with warm sandwiches and soup involved, the timing mattered. Everything was just the right temperature when we sat down to eat. We both ordered the Uptown Gal--roast beef, giardiniera, Dijon aioli, arugula, and white cheddar on house focaccia. The flavors were spot on, and these are substantial sandwiches. In fact, next time we could probably share one. We also shared the jalapeño Parmesan artichoke dip, which was excellent. We enjoyed some there and brought the rest home. The soups didn't have the same opportunity--we polished those off pretty quickly. Very flavorful. The iced tea was clearly freshly brewed and quite strong, which I actually prefer because I can adjust it to taste. It came in a generously sized glass as well. Lucille is a small place, but they've made very good use of the space. The interior is attractive and has a slightly modern, new-age feel. There was a steady stream of people dining in and picking up orders, and it wouldn't take many more customers to fill the place. I also noticed a nice wine selection and an espresso machine. One other thing stood out: the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. Lots of smiles and a pleasant atmosphere throughout our visit. Excellent food, generous portions, good timing, and a staff willing to accommodate a customer who showed up a little ahead of schedule. An easy five stars from us.

Breakfast does not have to be complicated to be memorable…read more The sausage, egg, and cheddar English muffin was everything you would hope for--fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and miles beyond the fast-food version. After a few bites I added Tabasco and Cholula, and it took an already great sandwich to another level. The homemade chicken soup was flavorful and comforting, and a cold Corona with salt and lime rounded everything out perfectly. One thing I really appreciate about Harvest Moon is the atmosphere. It is peaceful--almost tranquil. You hear conversations around the room, but they are the kind of quiet chatter that makes a place feel alive without ever feeling loud. It is comfortable, unhurried, and the kind of environment where you can simply enjoy your meal and be present. A special thank you to Johnny in the kitchen for putting together such a great meal. It shows when someone takes pride in what they do. Shout out to Lindsey for the friendly, attentive service. She made sure everything was just right without ever making me feel rushed. And thank you to Lyssa behind the bar. She was so busy I actually had to ask who Lindsey was, but despite juggling everything going on, she still took the time to make me feel welcome. Good food, genuine people, and a peaceful atmosphere are a hard combination to find. Harvest Moon continues to get all three right. Easy 5 stars.

Not that much room for customers to eat since they dont have many tables available. The hamburgers were good. I love how fresh the ingredients were. The onion rings also tasted good. The breakfast item was typical of what you'd expect from Dennys or ihop. We also tried the pie. Banana cream pie was amazing. Tasted really good. However twice they did not have the sugar free apple pie and we were told they hadn't had it for at least two weeks. If they dont have an item, it shouldn't be in the menu. Otherwise the staff was friendly. The prices were quite high. Probably wont be back again unless it's for the pie.
