BREAKING NEWS: ECO PLUMBERS SWINDLES $5K FROM A FAMILY FOR A SHOTTY INSTALL THAN GHOSTS THEM…read more My install on Friday ended up with the sump pump spraying water all over the basement because of a lose fitting. That is an embarrassing mistake. I had to pull it out of the basin to stop it from soaking everything. So now my brand new pump was dry running for a while, not good. Dispatch told me someone might be out to my house by 11 pm, maybe midnight. I declined, that's ridiculous. I was told I was first stop on Sat morning but Mustafa didn't get to my house until after 10 am on Saturday and we had to be somewhere by 11. Someone was supposed to be to my house on Monday to finish and never showed. No communication. Father in law sat there all day. No one showed up yesterday either. No communication. I requested final invoice for my insurance claim. Still waiting on that. I am not satisfied with the incomplete install. I told Mustafa on Sat I am not paying for this stupid hoky club membership and deserve either it comped or canceled. I'm not sure he understood what I was asking. All he did was bring me an EcoFi folder and walked out. Not excited to use Eco ever again so why would I want it? I really hope you guys can make this right. I was warned Eco is overpriced from a plumber friend (he was going to do it for $3100) but I needed it quick and you guys took advantage of it. I work in a heavily competitive customer service industry too and I am full versed in what I have to do when you do a lousy job and need to save face. Eco has done nothing to make this right. There are plenty others to choose from. Skip these guys.

The Horror! I would give them no stars, if I could! I called Gunther Plumbing, because after the…read moreCity installed the new, mandatory water meter, it seemed that everything went to crap! They had unwittingly disconnected my furnace and my water heater stopped working. The HVAC guy who fixed the furnance recommended I call Gunther for the water heater. They made the appointment, and now enter Calib! After inspecting it, Calib tells me I would need to replace my water heater. I agreed, what choice did I have? The next day he arrives, takes out the old water heater, and, unbelievably, refuses to use a dolly, insisting he can just slide it across my wood floors. He damaged my floors, apologized, and left me scrambling to protect them with rugs and towels. Then came the kicker: the new water heater was too big for the space. He hadn't measured anything, hadn't paid attention to the size of the previous heater...nothing. He suggested I just leave the closet door open. I informed him that was unacceptable as I have dogs and grandchildren! He actually was mad at me!!!! I even asked him, "are you pissed?". He tried to deny what was clearly written across his face. When he returned with another "solution," it was still too big. His response? "Oh well, that's the only one we have. Maybe we can investigate. No one makes tanks this small anymore." Then he left. I couldn't believe it! It's getting dark now, I was left crying, without hot water, and with no options. To make matters worse, he tried to take my old heater, which was sitting in front of my house, as he left. I was alone, distraught, and abandoned by a company that clearly didn't care. Thankfully, ECO Plumbers came to the rescue that same night. They not only installed a properly sized (29 gallon) water heater from the same brand (Bradford White) Gunther claimed didn't exist, they did it at a better price, AND actually made me feel valued as a customer. They were professional, placed vinyl down to protect my floors, wore foot covers, tested things 3 times or more, left a complimentary carbon monoxide detector, and most importantly treated me and my home with respect. Gunther Plumbing caused stress, damaged my floors, and left me helpless. I would never, ever trust them again, and I cannot believe the glowing 5-star reviews. If you value your time, your home, and your sanity, skip Gunther and call ECO Plumbers instead.

When we discovered water on our kitchen floor on a Saturday morning, we looked for plumbers that could be reached on weekends. We had been very pleased in the past by work done by Gunther Plumbing so we called their phone number. Under the name of Gunther Plumbing/a.k.a housecallpro.com (same phone number for both) we called to get an emergency plumber. At around 8 AM, we were told that one would be dispatched soon, and would call to let us know when he was arriving. As we battled the water spreading over our kitchen floor, we couldn't wait for the plumber. We kept the phone in hand and even watched the road, but no one called or arrived. After 4 hours, we called them again, and they said they were very busy but one of their techs would soon contact us. After 7 hours, we called again to say their business hours would be over soon, but no one had contacted us. The receptionist (Felicia?) said she would send Travis out immediately. But he never came, and we were never contacted. Nearly all my reviews of other companies have been glowingly full of praise and a pat on the back, but Gunther Plumbing/ housecallpro.com is one of the worst companies we have ever contacted. Don't be tricked by the phone number--same for both/ Avoid them, and avoid disappointment.

We had a cracked pipe from winter cold that connected to one of our outside spigots. Rob, knew the situation and what we were asking for (I use very laymen terms) gave a quote and kept that quote. He also was really good at responding to questions I had and we were able to plan the work a few weeks out very easily. Robert came a little late, but that was due to an emergency situation with a customer who had a busted pipe at the water meter. You gotta love a professional who cares about his customers, but other than that, he looked at the situation, went to the store to get what he needed and was done within 30 mins (it was very quick). We were really thankful that he also put in a shut off valve so we could turn off that pipe in the winter so it doesn't get cracked again. It really can't get much better, Rob's pricing was great, his communication was 1st class, his understanding and professionalism was all amazing and super helpful. The facet works great and there is no water leaking at all, the house was clean and now we have our outdoor faucet back. Highly Recommend RCB Plumbing, they would be hard to beat.
