Went in on a Tuesday with 5 people. Everyone in front of us at the hostess stand was seated promptly. They get to our group and tell us it's a 20 minute wait. We saw several large booths and tables open. Several more smaller groups were seated as we stood there. Hostess young blonde didn't care and just stood there with a blank look on her face. We walked over to Chuys and spent $100 on drinks and food. Being going to OC for years and never had to wait for a table on a Tuesday with a half full restaurant. Very disappointed. read more

Horrible bar service!! We've been in numerous times to get world beer tour points and it gets worse every time!! I wish we didn't like beer so much- we need to find a new place- this is not even worth it!! read more

We really like Chicago Pizza. However this one was not up to par. Waited quit a while for a table. It was dark so I could barely see the menu. The beer selection was minimum for the types we drink. However we had a great server. The food was good. Prices good. read more

My boyfriend and I and a few others went out for a night wanting to have a good time. When we walked in the hostess and four other employees just stared at us. We then asked can we have a booth and the hostess pointed to the back of the room and said there's one open back there. We sat ourselves after being confused of what the hostesses job was as she chatted with other employees the whole night. Our server came very quickly and got our drink order. One of our friends ordered a glass of water and she left after an hour. The glass sat at the end of our table for 4+ hours without the water taking it out of our way. The waiter never came to check on us and ask what else we needed. He would come and ask if we wanted another drink and as soon as we started talking he was gone. We had to flag him down numerous times to tell him we wanted to order food, all the while a bunch of off the clock employees sat at the table next to us receiving excellent customer service from the SAME waiter. The amount of time it took to get a beer was slooooow. We could see our drinks sitting at the end of the bar for 10+ minutes before the waiter brought them to us. It seemed like all the employees were just hanging out talking to each other. Where is the manager? Do they know their business is being ran like this? Food was good, drinks were awesome and the service was horrible. Just for that we won't be going back. read more

One of my favorite places to go before movies. Pizzas is good, but the spinage artichoke dip is great, service is always good.

Take out is pretty goo and quick. Pizza is great if you are looking for this style of pizza. Unfortunately last time my husband and I ate inside we had to wait a very long time in a very cold restaurant. I'd like to say the pizza was worth it that day but it wasn't. :( read more

Staff is pretty friendly. There are usually plenty of booths open. We are always able to get a quick and fast service. TVs are kinda small and you can't really hear during the games going on. Pizza is pretty good. read more

Wouldn't go back unless there were some serious discounts. The pizza was ok, but not even close to $30 okay, it was almost cold and I paid $3 extra for the ale crust and that was not ale crust. So was overcharged, and it still wasn't ok for $26. Shouldn't have paid more than $18 with tax for that lackluster effort. And now we both have indigestion, and I am known for having an iron stomach, eat all kinds of crazy spicy stuff and fine. Really no interest in going back, ever. read more

Ordered avocado on the turkey club, didnt get it. Ordered regular mayo on the side NOT peppercorn mayo. NO silverware, NO napkins and the food was lukewarm. Dont order the boneless wings, theyre chicken nuggets. Drove from OKC for this? Glad they closed the one there. Yes we ordered a little late but that shouldnt mean we get this kind of food or service. $32 was wayyyyy too much. Wouldnt let me post this without at least giving 1 star. I wished it would have. read more

Very good calzones and pizza. If you like beer, they have a really decent selection.

Service was a little slow considering it was middle of the day and not very busy! But Te calzones were amazing!

Went here last night. Got seated right away. Waited. Waited. Went to the hostess station and informed them no one had been to our table yet. Waited. A server came by and said she'd be with us in a minute. Waited. Waited. Left. I was a waitress for many years and I'm VERY patient and understanding when it comes to service at restaurants. If the server is too busy, then the host/hostess or other servers usually jump in to help until the server can get caught up. Probably won't be going here again. read more

Horrible experience. As we were being seated there were several tables piled with dishes. I should have known to just leave. But thought it was 2 pm and they just finished a lunch rush. After waiting an unusual amount of time a server came and took our entire order. Our drinks were delivered promptly. However my Dr. Pepper was flat. No servers around and the place was half full. It took quite some time to tell someone. And I never got the refill. After spending 40 mins at this place we finally left. Only after I excused my self to the restroom and saw my server and another smoking outside. People all around us said it took them an hour to get their food. So I thought it best to leave. We told our server very politely that we were leaving due to the delay. And she still wanted to charge us!!! We never got our food and never was able to even have a drink. One table attempted to speak to the manager and expressed their concern for their own delay as they had to wait an hour for Italian nachos. His response..."moving as fast as we can." No apology and no sympathetic tone. Old Chicago....you disappointed me today. And sadly I will not go back. read more

I have been dinning at this OC for years now and love the food and of course the great beer selection. I rarely have a bad experience there. However last night before a show at AMC my girlfriend and I stopped in for a beer and never got greeted at our bar side table. So after about 15 minutes we just decided to head back over to the theaters early. Like I said though I rarely have a bad time there so I'm hoping it was just an off night for the server and management on that night. read more

The service was poor at an off peak time. After speaking to manager was told server was sick. He should have not been waiting tables.

I was visiting family from out of town. My brother said it had been awhile since he eat here. We ordered the deep dish style pizza, expecting it to be deep dished as he remembered...when it came out it looked like a walmart pre-made pizza. It was hand tossed at best, and for 24.00 it was not worth it! This is a bar, with a good drink selection, not a authentic pizza chicago style pizza joint. read more

One of the better Old Chicago locations I have visited. Our Server, Lillia was efficiient and had a great personality. A great place to go for a late night pizza, although I still think the OC menus are way too busy. A stand by pizza and beer place for me and no regrets. If ever through Olathe again, I can see stopping here. read more

Typical old Chicago. Same as anywhere else. Waiters are not very friendly. They stopped serving cheese fries, which were amazing. We do like their pizza and my favorite is the chicken avocado salad with sun dried tomatoes. Lately when we visit the salad tastes gritty like it hasn't been washed, and the pizza has been cold. read more

Usually we get takeout because we like the pizza but never have time to stay. We'll order maybe once a month and every time we are missing something from our order. The pizza was hard like it had been ready awhile but she had to go to the kitchen to get our food. She tried to give me 4 meals without a bag. Then, we got home without checking our stuff and we're missing a kids side. Online ordering was nice but I'm not sure we will come back. read more

If you want to take a trip to flavor town avoid Old Chicago. The secret to everything is bland undercooked dough. Go for the beer, stay if you want the runs. read more

Food was great to bad the service sucked had one waitress pawned us off on another without telling us or talking to us. Ended up having to get my own drink refill like I said food was great terrible service. read more

Enjoyed the happy hour atmosphere. The service is prompt and nice. The food was alright.

Old Chicago's happy hour is great! Good food at great prices. Good Italian nachos!

Food is really good but the service is super slow. 30 minutes for an appetizer. Finished that and still waiting on food, 45 minutes in. One waitress serving the entire restaurant, even though it's not very big, they still need more than one waitress. Won't come back to this location. read more

I stopped in to have some beers with friends in the bar and I was happy with my experience. The beer prices were reasonable and the calzone that I had was delicious. read more

Rolled in last night about 9:30 and could have been out by 10:30, even with dithering over selecting something from the menu. Quick and efficient, despite a slight crowd for the time of night. A wide, and good, selection of beer and the pepperoni rolls and pizza were as good as ever. Of special note, we had no problems with subbing out tomato sauce for alfredo after having gotten the order in which is good since we had one in the party with an allergy to tomatoes. read more

Yesterday afternoon, we went to dinner for a friend's birthday. There were over six of us. The service was extremely slow. We will never go back again. read more

I've had it with this place. I've been going here since they opened several years ago since my office is just down the street. The service and the food have always been great. However, for the past 2-3 years this place has gone downhill. I don't know if it's new management or what, but the food and service have just gotten progressively worse. There seems to be a different staff every time we've gone in, when in years past we gotten to know several of the people there. Today I met my wife there for lunch. The burger I ordered was oozing with grease. The bun was like a wet sponge of grease. The Panini my wife ordered was the same way. We brought it to the attention of our waitress, but all she offered was a "sorry". I should have asked for a manager, but I didn't. I really just wanted to get the hell out of there. Anyway, $28 for two greasy lunches. Absolute waste of money. Looking back I'd rather have gone to Joe's Crab Shack and paid twice as much. read more

Last time I went there 30 minute wait even though they had open booths. They told me they didn't have a server for those booths. Terrible service. read more

This used to be the spot where our couple friends would meet so the husbands could work on their beer tour. That was until last Saturday night. The six of us were celebrating our Christmas together when sometime during our meal we pissed our bipolar waitress off. It might've been when she brought us out a long ticket asking us to put symbols beside what we ordered so she could figure out how to divide the tab. First of all, she never asked us how we wanted it divided or if it was all on one ticket. Also, we weren't ready to leave.we had just had two drinks and I still had food on my plate. Long story short, I guess we were her last table and she wanted to go home so she told the manager we were being drunk and rude. The Marnager came out at 9:30 pm without questioning and told us It was a wrap and he wanted to make sure we got home ok. Remind you our ticket plainly shows that we only had two drinks.. As he was talking to us she was standing behind him yelling at our husbands for God only knows why. The manager had to tell her to go in the back. He then felt bad that he might've jumped to conclusions and said we could sit in the bar area. Really??? I have NEVER been so insulted by a restaurant manager in all my life. I am a customer paying YOUR bills. Not the other way around. Bruce Harris the general manager was apologetic while being just as dismissive ...like he didn't have time to listen to another customer complaint. He did offer 3 free sweatshirts. But, they can shove them far far up their anal cavity. I won't be back. P.S. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer, too. read more
