Octopus
Maria E.

I read great things about the octopus so I had high hopes. I was quickly disappointed with my first bite. Yes, it is pretty tender but it was extremely slimy, I couldn't eat 1/2 of it.

My husband and I came here with my parents and all shared: - Spiced Chicken Tagine - Wild Mushroom and Saffron Risotto with Cajun Shrimp - Patatas Bravas - Grilled Spanish Cheese - Beef Burak - Arayes Rolls - Crispy Calamari Everything was delicious. My favorite things were the Grilled Spanish Cheese, Arayes Rolls, and the risotto. This is definitely my favorite restaurant and I'm sure we'll be back frequently when visiting my parents.

I enjoyed Olé Tapas Bar with a group on a Saturday evening and had a great experience. I love getting tapas to share! The food was delicious, the ambiance, lighting, and artistic vibe to the space was fantastic. They even had a live saxophone player that evening. The owners were present, welcoming, and kind. Our server, Jay was great and attentive. My water glass was never empty (I am drink a lot of water! The entire team was great! I can't wait to go back.

I felt well received upon arrival with kind greetings and attention. The restaurant itself is smaller in size but bold with modest decors that fit the space well. The menu is smaller, which I feel allows for attention to details in the kitchen. They only had a few vegetarian options and only salad for vegans. We had cocktails which are a must due to their well balanced flavors and presentation. The salads we had were large and filling. The olive side was good but had a lot of olive pits, both onsite the olives and on the side. The wiped cheese was good. The cheesecake and chocolate mousse was worthy of the wait at the end.

Let's start with Armand--he is absolutely fabulous and has a gift for making every guest feel happy to be at Őle. Nestled in a great ambiance, it's an ideal spot for a date or even a casual after-work drink. The service was attentive, and the food was quite enjoyable--everything was well prepared and satisfying, though nothing stood out as "amazing." The bar, however, is clearly the centerpiece, offering sophisticated craft cocktails and thoughtfully made mocktails that truly shine.

This place is in the top 5 of best restaurants I've ever been to! Impeccable service- never overbearing - and freshest food at a very reasonable price. Atmosphere is wonderful! Will visit again next time in the area!

Ole Tapas Bar is an absolute gem. The decor is exquisite, and despite the place being packed, the experience felt relaxed and special thanks to our incredible server, Jay - his recommendations were spot on, and we never felt rushed. We started with the calamari and the potatoes bravas, both perfect for sharing and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were excellent (the smoky old-fashioned were a hit) and the risotto I ordered was hands-down the best I've had in over 10 years. Every plate was cleaned - stakes, kebabs, all fantastic - and dessert sealed the deal with a decadent berry clafoutis and cheesecake. When owner Aman stopped by to chat, it was clear he has that rare "it"factor - Ole Tapas Bar is truly something special.

We decided to try the tapas bar and restaurant in Solon, craving the flavors of Florida's tapas cuisine. We kicked things off with grilled octopus, but it tasted more like a spoiling decomposing scallop--definitely not fresh. Next, we tried the olive, walnut, and marinated cheese tapas. The cheese was spicy, there were few walnuts, and the olives varied--some were good, but many had pits, and none were the creamy variety I hoped for. The pistachio cheese was the standout, but it was bland and would've benefited from a fruity topping like pomegranate. Though the restaurant claims to fuse Spanish and Turkish cuisines, the mains we ordered--a simple salad and a fig salad--were too basic to mention. Would I recommend it? While the place was clean, the bar was appealing, and the drinks looked fantastic, the service fell short; our waiter forgot to offer dessert, so we left for that. Overall, I'm torn. I'd consider stopping by for drinks, but I wouldn't return for a meal.

Mussels

We had a fantastic tapas meal sitting at the bar. The owner worked his butt off making sure everyone was satisfied. The cocktails are unique and thoughtfully crafted, and the food is fresh and internationally inspired. We had the mussels and octopus...now, I would never normally order mussels and octopus in Ohio, but they came so highly recommended that we had to try it. And boy were they good. My only complaint is that I wish I had more bread to sop up the leftover broth. Do not miss this restaurant. If you're looking for something fun and unique for dinner that's packed with flavor and made with thought and care, go to Olè Tapas Bar.

I can't get enough of this place. I could eat the mussels everyday! It gets busy so reservations are suggested. I've had everything on the menu and everything is delicious.

Harissa Wings

The atmosphere and decor are beautiful. Really makes you feel like it is a fine dining experience. The cocktails are high-end and worth every penny. I had an old-fashioned and it came out in a smoking glass dome. Beautiful presentation. I had the beef carpaccio as an appetizer and it came with herbed toast points! It was amazing!! I had the Risotto with steak... 10out of 10!! Delicious!.

Potatoes Bravas
Red R.

Everything was so tasty. Excellent service and their small plates are actually big. We each ordered 2 items and the potato's Braga's and couldn't finish it all. Will definitely return. My husband had the Octopus and the grilled alloumi salad. He said both were excellent.

The food was overall, very bland. It was expertly prepared, fresh, and beautiful. But the taste was quite boring. Be prepared to eat a second dinner when you get home. Also be prepared to sit at the bar- this place is very tiny. The vibe is nice. Low ceiling, dimly lit, comfortable cozy. The server/ bartender (I'm pretty sure she was running the whole place) Nikki, was phenomenal. So friendly, good drinks. We started with the oysters which were good. The mignonette sauce was a little different, it had lemon zest in it. It was very good! But the give you laughable amount. Like, a splash. Then we had the fig and prosciutto toast. This was the highlight for us. Tasty all the way around, 4 generous servings on the plate. Jam was so good and the prosciutto was warmed up ever so slightly. I had the hangar steak with some unseasoned boiled carrots. The steak was tender and high quality, but I couldn't taste a bit of seasoning. Also served with a tiny crispy potato pancake. Husband had the halibut special. This had some wasabi crust and if you got a bite of the wasabi it was good. The bites that weren't crusted were boring fish. Again, very fresh and prepared well. Black rice and asparagus also boring. I got a hint of lemon on one bite I tried. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which were charred along with the few pork belly pieces. Husband finished with a whiskey crème brûlée which he enjoyed. He did not, however, enjoy his Dark and Stormy. He said it was all booze and no beer or mix. Sadly, we won't be back.

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.
