Showstopper dinner at Mallorca serving delicious Spanish/Portuguese cuisine in Cleveland for over 30 years! Make sure to try the Flaming Mallorca Coffee and Patatas Bravas! While the Paella Maricada was beautifully presented, the seafood didn't taste very fresh. Plenty of street parking and a lot available next to the restaurant.

My guy and I were invited to a yelp event here and as soon as we entered and sat at bar for drinks we were greeted by the lovely owner who smiled and took our orders right away. I didn't know what to expect prior to arriving, I always pass this restaurant and was curious so I was super stoked to get an invite. The sangria was by far the best I've ever had, definitely tastes homemade. Paella and chicken were delicious. We had chips with our food and I found out that it's part of the culture to eat potato's with every meal. I love chips so it made me happy. I felt right at home here, a very warm and welcoming vibe. Will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful time at Mallorca with friends. I went to an event put together by Yelp, and it was a fantastic experience. They served us family-style dishes, which were large enough to accommodate the table. I'm not really a paella fan, I'm not fond of the texture of the rice, but this one was tasty, definitely will be back to taste other options

We had a wonderful evening here with a three course meal complete with salad, chicken, paella, sangria, chips, and flan. Really nice atmosphere. Laurie was a great host and runs a wonderful restaurant! Great place in CLE for a taste of Spain and Portugal!

This restaurant is top notch! Their staff is so friendly and accommodating. I've had George a couple times over the years coming in there he never disappoints with his service. #mallorcacleveland @mallorcacleveland #buzzybooth

    Bland rice

Food is mediocre. I ordered chicken breasts with garlic sauce. I couldn't taste or see any garlic. Very plain. Came with an entire plate of rice. Stale bread. Salad with mostly lettuce and what tasted like bottled Russian dressing. And steamed broccoli and carrots that I could make at home. Sangria was watered down. Cheesecake didn't even have any topping such as a sauce. Pompous and condescending staff.

You come in thrugh a red door that leads to another door that leads to the dinning room, the host was awesome! He sat us right away and was very cheery which is always a plus in my book! My husband and I sat down and loved listening to the music they had on. The waiter let us know the specials (not on the menu). We got the octopus (which was the special), i got the Caldo Gallego and my husband ordered the Gaspacho. We also ordered the Valenciaga Paella. I must prefice this with My husband has never had Gaspacho before didn't really know what it is he just that it sounded interesting....oh annnndddd had no clue that Gaspacho was served cold. He thought it tasted like cold totitos salsa lol which i mean when it comes down to it, it kinda is, the base is tomatoes so . The Caldo Gallego was good, it was nice and hot with chorizo floating in it with spinach, potatoes, white beans, onions and other things. It was pretty good I like it. The octopus was delicious not chewy or tough just tender with some nice spices on it. It was still nice and warm as well which is nice since a lot of the time I get octopus it's a little cold. Lastly, the paella. The paella had a nice taste to it, it had muscles and claims which my husband loved, along with shrimp and chicken which I loved and saffron rice which was very nice. I do t think they use the right rice for the dish I think it was just regular saffron rice but I can't be completely sure. I mean the rice was good don't get me wrong but it maybe was a little overcooked or something not sure. Either way the paella is good and I would honestly come again if possible. Great service, nice fun waiters and really nice good food. Love it.

Super bad service. If you tell them you are sharing the food, they charge you extra. The seafood is not fresh, mussel and lobster in our order was stinky. We try to communicate with the restaurant, even ask them to try and check the food, the server refused our request, they are not going to try or fix anything!!!!!! We are part of 6, they automatically charged 20% service fee, but they did not deliver any service.!!!!! After we leave a google review. Owner replied that we were table for 4, but ordered one main dish, that is totally unacceptable reason. We were group of 6, and i have attached part of our receipt in pic the whole table was spend over $400, we ordered 4 main course and 1 paella, and several appetizers, 2 glass of wine. what do you mean that we only ordered 1 main course?????? And we were there at 2:30 pm today, what do you mean a very busy night???? You can see the time on the receipt. Very bad service,And it totally unacceptable!!! Server is racist.

Great birthday dinner at this Cleveland institution. Our waiter was the manager who has been with Mallorca for 24 years. He made our night!

Delicious! Probably my new favorite restaurant in Cleveland. We had the seared scallops to start, as well as the fried calamari. Both were delicious. I loved the calamari mostly because it wasn't over breaded. Then I had the stuffed scallops and my partner had the baby goat in wine sauce. Wow! Both were amazing and my only issue with either was that I wish there had been more. For dessert I had the flan and my partner had the cheesecake. Both were also delicious but our least favorite part of the meal. Our waiter was also great and talked to all of the guests when he went to their table. He was super attentive and just all around amazing. Love this place!

Another great restaurant in Cleveland that has gone downhill. Service and food quality have all greatly diminished, what a shame.

We didn't enjoy the crab cakes as much as we thought we would - they were really soft and dare I say... mushy? The short ribs were tender and had a wonderful glaze and a good amount of it. The halibut special was fresh and summery and came with vegetable, a corn coulie and butternut sauce. The cedar plank salmon was prepared well and tender in the middle. The filet was cooked perfectly however the glaze was minimal and the potato was a tad overcooked and dry - good flavor though. I did make a few notes on the day of, so hopefully those suffice! So about 12 others from my foodie group and I dined at Salmon Dave's for a group lunch in April of 2025. The interior is cute and decorated like a fish joint off the coast of Florida. We had made reservations beforehand, but it was clear they were still understaffed. It took a bit too long for our food to arrive. I think we waited about 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. We all munched on the free bread while we waited. The bread was okay - standard white crusty bread. The service was also pretty good. Our waters were always kept pretty full but our waitress wasn't much for conversation - just kept things pretty serious. I ordered fried fish for my main (I am pretty picky about how I like fish prepared). My fried fish dinner was massive! I have never seen a fried fish as big as the one I had at Salmon Dave's. It was good too which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 3 or 3.5 stars. The coleslaw is a liquidy mush of nothing - don't bother getting this. In short, I paid about $40 after tax and tip for my fish fry lunch and while it took a while to arrive and I wasn't impressed with the sides, my friends and I had a good time! I was very impressed with the fish too!

Jeremy was our server, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled my gluten allergy without batting an eye. The food? Our selections were off the chain. We started with the deviled eggs - extremely creamy; a little kick; topped with a crisp cornichon. We had 4 different varieties of oysters -- all perfectly chilled and served with both cocktail and a green sauce mignonette, with plenty of lemon. Now for the showstoppers -- I had the N'awklins shrimp and grits. Oh my! The shrimp were nestled on top of the silky cheddar grits, and blackened - seasoned beautifully and cooked just right - not mushy or chewy. But the star? The broth! Tomato based, the depth of flavor was unexpected, and so good, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. My husband had Cioppino, which I could not taste due to GF.
