Branzino, Norwegian Salmon & Beans with greens
    Dawn G.

Food was delicious, we had the Norwegian Salmon & Branzino with side order Beans n Greens (yummy garlicky sauce). Restaurant was packed on a Sunday at 5:30, service a bit slow but they will probably work out those issues eventually. We loved our dinner

Zina's Greek Street Food is my favorite local Greek cuisine. I picked up spontaneous lunch here…read moretoday. This restaurant is like a year round Greek festival with considerably tastier food. It's really SO GOOD! Forget any other gyro you had, this is THE gyro. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe, clean and bright. There's a very IG worthy Greek mural inside. There are a few very comfortable tables to dine in inside and outside. Most guests take their meals to go (you can also pre-order for pick-up via Uber Eats). This eatery is always quiet and peaceful. Employees are always super friendly and attentive. Food is always prepared super quickly, took maybe 5 minutes this time. You can tell that there's a very high level of commitment to quality and good ingredients here. I ordered Classic Lamb Street Gyro (comes with fries), Lemon Rice Pilaf, and Zoe's Rice Pudding. Lamb Street Gyro was incredible as always. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed into a soft, slightly chewy homemade pita. What really stands out to me every time is the balance -- the meat, the fresh tomato and onion, plus tzatziki on the side. They really get gyros right every single time! Accompanying fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I immediately ate all of them. You can order fries on your gyro or separately. I prefer to munch on them separately but on the gyro also often hits the spot. Rice pilaf was flavorful but unfortunately I got the feeling it wasn't fully cooked through. That didn't stop be from eating all of it. I devoured my Zoe's Rice Pudding. It's perfectly creamy and has such a good amount of cinnamon. I wish that I would have paired it with coffee but it was my first time experiencing it, and I couldn't stop eating it. I'm telling you, try the pudding. I was very happy with my meal. Also, I've tried other meals at this place in the past including Chicken Street Gyro, and Baklava. One of the guests at the restaurant was very talkative and mentioned that they make really good burgers (daily special). If you're feeling adventurous, you can always build your own bowl or build your own platter. Parking is a bit complex. Enter the parking lot from the right of the restaurant to park close otherwise you'll see Do Not Enter signs preventing you from entry. If you love Mediterranean food or just want something fast, fresh, and a little different from the usual, Zina's is absolutely worth a stop. I'm already planning to go back and trying baklava cheesecake. If you love Zina's, check out other establishments by the same owner - Chicken Ranch next door and Market on Lee.

The build-your-own bowl was pretty expensive at $19 with lamb meat, luckily the size was okay. Of course it would have been cheaper had I gone in-store. Feta cheese and kalamata olives were extra, but I had those at home, so I didn't add them. There was a good amount of lamb meat in the bowl and the pita was huge. I got the tzatziki yogurt sauce, as well as the Zina vinaigrette. The vinaigrette is thicker than one would expect, and garlicky, but I enjoyed it. The lamb wasn't especially seasoned, but it was good. Overall solid lunch choice, and I have leftovers for dinner.

They and the Cathy family would be aghast at the service and food we were served at this location. My granddaughter wanted Chick Fil A for lunch, so we went to this location on our way to another event. My granddaughter ordered the 5 piece Chicken Nuggets, apple sauce, waffle fries and a juice box. Hard to mess this up so nothing noteworthy here. My wife ordered the Market salad with grilled chicken. I noticed her moving the lettuce but not eating it. She said the chicken was alright as were the strawberries. The salad looked like it was dug out of a dirty hole. Hardly appetizing and certainly old (see photos and receipt) I told my wife if my owner operator friends (A, B and C) saw this, they'd be upset. I encouraged her to let them know. She went to the counter and the three ladies there told her this salad was MADE TODAY! What?! They said because she ate the chicken and strawberries they could only give her a side salad with lettuce, which was fair. The manager never came out to settle this but told the ladies to take care of it. Must have been SOOO busy. so they offered my wife a side salad which looked just as old. She finally chose a side salad that was the least rusty. IF they made the salads today, wouldn't you think, I can't serve what I wouldn't eat myself? Uhhh, na. It dawned on me they likely don't sell a lot of salads at this location so they sit either in the bag or in the salad container. I submit, stick to what you do best and take the nasty salads off the menu here. Shame is, we love their salads.... Just not here. One and done for me.

At this point it seems like an excuse to economize and just simply not employ a whole lot of people and get away with giving people crap food and crap service and that was the case here. Generally when I go into this area of the city I don't expect stellar service as it just seems like nobody cares. And I was right. After trying to order three different types of sandwiches finding out they were out of three different types of meat I settled with a cold turkey sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. She gave us our cups to fill our drinks up with and the soda fountain was legitimately covered in mold and disgusting. A peek up into the ice dispenser you can see pink mold. Want to talk to her manager and duty? Good luck there isn't one. The drink station was damaged rusted and falling apart as evidenced in the pictures I posted. Against my better judgment in the fact that I already paid $25 for two sandwiches and two drinks and a cup of soup led me to a half hour wait for my food. It seemed like they were very interested in taking care of the doordash people first and not the customers in the restaurant. I already knew this was going downhill and when my phone finally came up I asked where my soup was? She said you did not order soup cuz it's not on the receipt. I clearly did tell the person taking the order that I did want a cup of tomato soup but apparently she didn't enter it. So we just stood there staring at each other the right thing to do would have been to give the customer the cup of soup but I didn't want to go up and deal with the girl at the counter again so I went without. Overall conditions were poor tables were unbussed and unclean. My wife's salad was more Brown lettuce than fresh and overall was pretty gross she ended up throwing half of it out. I ate what I could have my sandwich but knowing the condition of the rest of the restaurant you really have to question the food handling and sanitary guidelines they probably don't follow. We will not ever be back and I hope it closes.
