Came for an oil change good price job done quickly and well they even gave me a free diagnostic had a set price for a job and they tried to change the price on me bery disappointed thats not how business is done. If you use their shop make sure to confirm on a set price take a picture ask to pay before the work is done do what you gotta do to make sure they dont change the price on you. read more

I've been here to this place about 5 times now and I haven't looked back! The staff is very professional. They don't tell you excess services that needed to be done, but straight forwardly tell you what you need. If your transmission fluid is bad they show you your fluid in compared to brand new fluid. I got my air filter replaced and they even show you the brand new filter before putting it in the car. Recommend coming here for sure! read more

Since a week ago, my car would have trouble starting and it hasn't been like that before. I was uncomfortable to drive it long distance so I took in to this shop. They hooked it up to a device and they said my battery was really low. They also saw the sticker and they said it's been 5 years since the last time I changed my battery so they highly recommend changing it. While changing my batteries they checked everything else with my car such as my oil levels, my washer fluid, my air filters, the air in my tires and they said everything was still good. The manager also said I have a 3 year warranty on the battery so just come in any time before that and I get a free replacement and I would just pay to install it. The gentlemen were really nice there and I highly recommend coming to this shop. Professional, quick, and transparent. read more

My boyfriend usually does my oil changes but we were on a rush because we were going out of town and we did our research and decided to come this place. When we came, it was really packed- which was a good indicator for the business but not good for us because we were on a time crunch. However, despite the amount of cars ahead of us, they finished within 30-40 minutes for our car. They top off your fluids, vacuum your car, and check your air pressure. Definitely recommend coming here! read more

I've been coming here for years, because nobody used to carry 0w-20 full synthetic oil at a decent price. I used to pull up and the younger Asian mechanic knew exactly what I wanted. I was in and out fast. Last week I show up and the younger Asian mechanic is not there. An older silver haired Asian man assures me that although it may look like there are a lot of cars in front of me I should not have to wait more than half an hour. I waited for over one hour. Oilmen has Shell brand full synthetic oil in bulk and I told this older gentleman that is exactly what I wanted. He brings back these expensive quart bottle oils (I think one was Castrol) and he says he highly recommends these oils. I don't have a race car, I don't drive in stop and go traffic, and I never drive in the desert. What is he trying to sell? I tell him bulk, bulk, bulk while I point at the 0w-20 nozzle hanging from the ceiling. Then he says I need a transmission flush. I tell him I do a full drain every 50k miles. I don't drop the pan and change only 2 1/2 quarts like the owners manual recommends. I found out how to change all the transmission oil by reading car forums. After the oil change he is ringing up the charges and asks me if I am sure I do not want the transmission flush. I just tell him I am ready to pay. That was it. I started doing research and found that Walmart carries 5 quarts of their Super Tech oil for under $15.00 and a Super Tech filter for my car for under $3.00. Read the reviews and comparisons Walmart Super Tech products are not bad at all. I'll be changing my own oil from now on. read more

Decided to visit this place because I saw the reviews. Right when I pulled up they were friendly and professional. I told them I wanted an oil change and no questions after that. I watched them do my oil change the entire time just to make sure they was no funny business. They were very good, and very efficient in what they do, I was really impressed. They even clean your mirrors, vacuum your floors and check your tires pressures. This is my new go-to car maintenance place and I will be coming back for sure. read more

Was in the area to try that dumpling bar around the corner and decided to get my oil change at this place because of the good reviews. When I was first arrived it was packed, there were a lot of cars. They had a banner that said 57.99 full synthetic Mobil oil up to 5 quarts so I decided to do that because it was a bargain and I usually pay about $80 for my oil change. Despite all the cars, my car was done in less than an hour. They even vacuum and clean your windows too! The manager was really nice, and had a friendly smile. This won't be my last time here! read more

I have Toyota Corolla 2013, come here for oil change. I been coming here several times and they usually charge me $30 for regular oil change. Today I go back they said my car need synthetic oil which is $67, and after tax come out to $77. I go to Toyota dealership they would do it for $60. Don't go this place no more, they try to rip off the customer. read more

I had my check engine light go off and I came to this shop to check it out. Turns out it was my spark plugs misfiring and they told me to replace my spark plugs. Max the manager, was friendly and professional. Because I live in the area and it was packed, they said it might take a few hours so they offered to me home so I don't have to wait in the sun. Did my tune up with them and it's been 3 weeks and my check engine light hasn't came on since! Overall I had a really good experience. This shop is honest, and they don't try to rip you off like other places in the area. Will be back to bring my other cars! read more

Don't bother going here...went for an oil change and realized a week later that they never changed the oil...NO WONDER THE JOB WAS SUPER QUICK! Also, this happened to my dad as well! JUST MAKE TIME TO LOOK FOR A MORE REPUTABLE BUSINESS...it'll be worth it in the long run! read more

The 2 workers that changed my oil were good, but the owner that looked filipino was the worst when it came down to charging me. I pulled into the bay, the workers immediately started to work on my oil change. I asked the owner about the price and he pointed to the clipboard on the wall that wrote 54.99 and 64.99. He told me it was 54.99 that included 5 quarts, an additional quart is 10. All that info is on the clipboard. When they were done the owner comes out with the price of $90.59! He took off $2 because I brought my own oil filter that he didn't have in stock. When I confronted him and BROKE DOWN the math for him twice! He said that's how much they charged, FOR AN OIL CHANGE! I drive a 2017 GMC Canyon that takes 6 qts. Long story short, go somewhere else, save yourself the money and hassle read more

I was in the area to see some friends and my maintenance light came on so I decided to do my oil change here. I'm from Downtown La and I didn't want to risk it so I thought it's best I do my oil change that's in the area. I came in and the staff was very professional and friendly. They were knowledgeable about their stuff and it showed they've had a lot of experience. I have a 2009 Toyota Sienna and my oil change took only about 15 minutes, they clean your windows, check your air pressure in your tires and the prices were very fair. Highly recommend coming to this place! read more

I needed an oil change and this shop had a lot of good reviews so I decided to come here. Their prices were very reasonable and they have a friendly staff. They're professional and knowledgeable! I was even allowed to stay in my car so I can see what they're doing. Great experience, I highly recommend this place, and I'll be back for sure! read more

These guys are the best! I come here for every oil change I need, always. They're open on sundays and I'm always out of there within 20-30 minutes. They're very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They go above and beyond to say the least (: read more

It was my first time here and I called prior to coming and they said you can stay in your car while getting serviced. I pull in my car into the bay (assisted by the staff) and they told me my car takes full synthetic 0w20 oil which is correct because that's what the other shop that I go to would put in. I have a 2015 Honda Civic and they told me in total that's already with tax it would come out to be $66.79 which is a good price. While the guy on the bottom is draining out the oil, they clean your windows, put air in your tires, and I watched them check my cabin filter and air filter. They were honest and said they were clean so I don't need to replace them. Not only do they have good customer service, but their communication within each other seemed like they enjoy working with each so it expresses a good work atmosphere. I watched them put the proper amount of oil- 4.5 quarts and they even showed me how to reset my oil life since I stayed in my car. Overall, a great experience and I'll be coming back for sure! read more

My warranty ended at the dealership for my maintenance so I had to find a local shop to do my maintenance from here on out. I went on google and this place came up cause it had a lot of good reviews. I brought my friend with me just to make sure they don't try to upsell me. This place has amazing service, they're really friendly and their prices are reasonable. We were allowed to stay in our cars so we can watch everything that they were doing. I watched them put 0w20 Mobil full synthetic oil in my car, (I have a 2017 Honda Civic Ex) and they showed me my air filter was really dirty so when I got a new one, they even compared to show how dirty my original was. My friend and I were very comfortable and I recommend this shop! This is my spot now if I have any issues or I need maintence on my car. read more

I live in the area and needed an oil change so I did my research and came to this shop. Staff was very friendly and professional. They allowed me to stay in my car while I did the oil change. They clean your windows, check your brakes, and check your fluids and filters. They were very knowledgeable about their stuff and their prices are very reasonable as I have a Jeep Renegade. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend this place! (: read more

I have a 2019 Honda Civic and I gave them a call for a quote and they said around $67 for a full synthetic oil change. I came in and they were really packed. When it was time for my car to be serviced, they said I can stay in my car so I did. They check your air in your tires, check and top off all your fluids, and they wash your windows. Overall a really friendly, and professional atmosphere. They were done in about 15 minutes, and they didn't try to upsell me with anything cause they said all my fluids and filters were still good. Honest work, and I definitely recommend this place! read more

I was a loyal customer until I was actually fooled and charged for new products that I did NOT need! It's pretty common that they target women who really don't have much knowledge about cars. You should be ashamed of yourself! read more

Rommel and his staff have been excellent with their work service for the years that I have been coming to their place. Whether it was just an oil change or a little more than that, they've always upheld an honest and kind communication with me whenever I dropped my car off to them. Their service is quick and car assessment is reliable. I recommend The Oilmen to anyone looking for related services for their car. This place is a 10/10, with A+ customer satisfaction. read more

DO YOUR RESEARCH, JUST SAY NO. I just moved into the Walnut area and needed to find a new place for an oil change. Researched on Yelp and saw Oilmen 2 had good reviews. Called in for quote for full synthetic oil change on a 2014 Honda Accord (with ~110,000 miles) and was quoted a good price (around $68). Dropped off my car and when it was time for pickup, the head worker told me I needed to change my transmission fluid as it was dirty and needed to be replaced soon (a $180 service). Not knowing anything about cars, I agreed to the service. After the service was done I went home and did some research and found out it is recommended that a 2014 Honda Accord's transmission fluid needs to be changed every 90,000 miles at the earliest. I then checked my old paperwork of the previous services I had done with my old mechanic and realized I had my transmission fluid completely flushed and replaced 6,000 miles ago (~104,000 miles). They upcharged me for service I completely did not need because it was my first time there. Do not trust anything that these guys have to say or you will be ripped off. read more

I'm from the OC but I was in the area visiting a friend and my maintenance light in my car came on. I decided to go on yelp and this shop popped up. I read the reviews and I was impressed so I decided to come here. The staff was really friendly and I was even allowed to stay in my car during the oil change. They check the air in your tires, clean your windows aside from doing the oil change itself. They were very informative about my filters and my fluids. Professional and friendly staff all around. I have a 2018 Ford Edge and I was down in about 15 minutes! I highly recommend this place! read more

I probably came to get an oil change from them 3 times but every time the owner will suggest more money from me to replace things that doesn't need replacing. But the last time I came to them, they ran a diagnostic check on my car and said it'll cost me another $30, on top of the services they're already doing, to tell me an issue on my car. What I don't understand is that they do things to find to get more money off of customers. This place likes to take money from people so be aware if you do go. read more

The Oilmen has great service and hospitality! They're also quick and efficient. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Used to take my business here regularly. At one point I would have given this place a 5. Sadly, ownership and or management has changed a couple times. The current group is the worst by far. I really want to support a local small business, but they have made it very difficult the last couple of times I've been here. As someone mentioned, the pricing structure consistency is non-existent. You will be charged xx amount this visit, and then xx + $10 the next time. It seems they are trying to find things to nickel and dime you on. In the case of my vehicle, they up charged me a 4x4 fee. When I asked why (I've never been charged this before) I was told it was because "the inner-workings make it more difficult to access the components". BS...... Not coming here again with this ownership. Quick update....changed my mind on getting my oil change after they quoted me $60+. They said they only had synthetic for my vehicle. Took it to my new place in Rancho and paid $28 for the change with synthetic. Later Oilmen......... read more

Amazing helpful guys. Went in for an oil change, took about 20 min. Good info, and with the oil change they washed the outside of my windows and filled my tires (which they needed). Great service overall read more

I have been coming here for years. Their service is always reliable and quick! They offer a variety of car services and are always reasonably priced. I've made the mistake of going to other shops but always come back here. Whenever I have a problem with my car, this is my go to place. read more

Quick service but they fail to mention they do not change your oil filter. Why would anyone want an oil change without a new filter?

Was overdue for an oil change and searched yelp to find this little gem. Gave them a call and they told me to just stop by since they weren't busy. The service was fast and I was in and out in no time (15-20 mins). The old couple that own the place were really nice and the staff was friendly. Got an oil change for 19.99+tax and also changed my transmission fluid for $89.99. Definitely coming back in the future. read more

This is my go-to oil spot. They have great service. The workers are friendly and they have good prices. I recommend this place to anyone!

I've been coming to Oilmen for a few years now and they are my go to spot for car maintenance. Everything from oil changes to replacing my air filters, I've never had any complaints! Great prices compared to the other spots in the area and speedy, efficient service from everyone I've encountered there. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area! read more

***** DO NOT USE THEM. ***** December 3rd. 2015 - Took my daughter's car for an oil change after dropping her off at work. On the way, she had put the registration for the car in the glove compartment along with some invitations. After the oil change and driving away I noticed that there was stuff on the floor. I stopped and looked and noticed the registration was gone. I then pulled over and searched the car to find the registration among other items under the seat. Not sure if or what is missing, will have to have my daughter look, but why are they ransacking through people's personal property? In my opinion they are misleading thieves. Will never go back and I will definitely report to the better business bureau! Hope this review is helpful. read more

Max and his crew were great. I called and asked about no contact oil change during the pandemic, and Max set it up so I was able to pay by phone before I got there. Then I just drove up to the oil change place and Max directed me to park right in the oil change garage where there is an opening on the floor leading downstairs where the crew is able to change out the oil filter. I turned off the car and stayed in the car while they did the entire oil change. The oil change was done quickly and safely during the pandemic. After the oil change was done, I drove off and Max emailed me my receipt later. So convenient! Very reasonable price as well. I would highly recommend this place!! read more

Thee guys are FAST when it comes to oil changes. I have NEVER had problem with them. Oilmen took over the former Jiffylube location. This location seems to be Filipino owned, and there are a lot of Filipino customers stopping by for service. Prices are comparable to other quick lube shops (ie Masterlube, Jiffylube...). $20 plus tax and oil disposal fee gets you inor out. I have taken the old car here for oil changes, and even transmission & fuel injection flushes. If you are a regular, he *may* give you discounts from time to time (cannot guarantee my word though, haha!). Good people here! read more

Went here for the oil change the service was excellent.. But afterwards I went to another mechanic to check out my brakes and found out that they use cheap oil filters as well as using different sized gaskets as well as an oil plug that was too large for the car.. After finding this out I know I won't be going back to this area read more

I have been a customer here for 15 plus years my husband takes the cars here. Ever since the original owner left these guys take out their anger for not purchasing anything from them!!! So a few months ago they broke open and forcefully took out the air filter! Spilled oil everywhere on my engine! Took it back right away they cleaned it and gave me a free future oil change. I personally decided to take my car in on Sunday and sure enough I think because I'm a female they took advantage and got upset they couldn't find dirty transmission fluid or a dirty air filter they found my AC filter and while being nosy and pulling Sh** apart they broke my intake hose and now my car won't start!! My car was fine until Sunday!! There's a Hispanic guy who is always always there!!! That guy never seems to have a day off I know he got pissed I refused to buy the filter! They didn't clean my windows or vacuum my car! Yes they're fast but it's not worth it they do a horrible job!! I have sent so many customers here now I will send a mass text to about 20 people not to bring their cars here! DON'T get suckered by the fast and inexpensive oil change take your car somewhere else to avoid a bigger problem later! This place has gotten very very sloppy! P.S ALL the 5 star reviews have to be from family or friends they all sound the same and so back to back reviews! read more

Been going here for a few years now but never bothered to make a review. Very reliable and genuine car shop. Every time i come here there's always a lot of people, so it shows that people trust them with their cars. Very fast service as well as good, genuine workers. They don't try to screw you over and inflate the prices. Reason I keep coming back is cause their prices are fair and reasonable, as well as their fast service and friendly staff. I definitely recommend coming here for car services if you're in the area read more

$25 oil change, what a lie. Always saying they do not have anymore and then upcharge me $80 for an oil change after they serviced the car. They know that there are 10 more mechanic shops nearby so they try to upsell as much as possible assuming customers are not going to come back. Well I know I'm not going to be back. read more

Went here this morning to get my oil changed before heading to San Diego. I was referred by allot of my friends who are in the 626 area. They stated that this place is really fast and reliable so i decided to check it out. There was a long line so that was a good indication of good business however not in my favor. The management was very nice and they really do work fast. Overall a good experience, and I'll be coming back when I'm in the area! read more

This place is a cut to the chase, give it to me RAW kinda spot. I know the owner is an older Filipino man, whom every time I go there I call him parre which means friend in Tagalog. His son works there with him too, so it must be a family business. They are very friendly and ask you what service options would you like to receive. After filling out and signing the appropriate paperwork, and finalizing payment (because you have to pay the ledger $$ first before they start working on your car) they let you know exactly what services will be performed. The wait is usually minimal, but there were several times I didn't even wait to get an oil change. I just pulled up and they were ready to go. So I didn't even have to wait, my car was just immediately pulled into the working bay. They even go out of their way and tell me what their recommendations are for my car, like what services need to be performed in the future and what problems they saw and diagnosed when they were underneath my car. Usually in about 15-25 minutes the oil change is completed and I'm off on my way. 1 star down bc I prefer to pay later, after work is completed. And usually I like to pay cash $$ and getting a hook-up. But overall a clean, friendly cool experience, with fast service. One that you'll be seeming to appreciate. read more
