I had an appointment for an oil change scheduled for 2:00pm, but I showed up an hour early since I was in the area. I was told that they could not take my car in early and to come back later for my appointment, which is totally understandable. When I had returned for my original appointment time, I was then told that I had to reschedule anyway because they weren't finished working on a different car. I would like to add that I did not see or hear them working on anything when I had come back for my appointment. The previous owner, Albert, was always professional and ensured high quality service during every visit and I hope that the new owners are able to do the same in the future. Unfortunately, this experience and lack of professionalism left a bad taste in my mouth. I've been going to MB Stars for almost 10 years now but I will not be returning after this experience. read more

I had a great experience getting my car repaired here today. The price was very reasonable, and the owner was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to carefully assess the situation and explain everything clearly. What impressed me the most was their excellent after-sales service. They were very responsive, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was taken care of even after the repair. I'm very happy with the service and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional auto repair shop! read more

MB Stars - They were really helpful and specialize in Mercedes. Good experience & would come back for service again - Auto Repair Near Me - Rowland Heights, California

Great service with a smile. Vickie and Wallace are a great tag team of quality service and expedient work. Their staple is being experts on Mercedes, no matter how old, then making sure they treat you like family with their rock bottom prices. Vicky kept me updated throughout the entire process of restoring my 2003 S500. Then when I arrived Wallace would even take me to show me what's wrong and why. They are great! read more

I began to notice a rhythmic squeaking noise coming from the engine bay on my E350 W211. I couldn't exactly pinpoint its origin and thought it could be the engine belt and/or pulley system. So I took a short video clip of it with my phone. Good thing I did because, of course, after arriving to MB Stars the noise had gone away. So I played the video back for them to take a listen and they quickly ascertained it was not a belt (partly the reason why I come here and ONLY here- they KNOW what they are doing!). They proceeded to run a OBD scan using none other than the OEM Mercedes Diagnostic Software (Xentry) on their computer terminal. They were able to pinpoint the problem and within minutes address the issue. The noise was completely gone and I was back in business. I am so thankful I found these guys shortly after becoming a MB owner years ago. Their rates are VERY reasonable- in fact every single time so far the final total has always been slightly less than my initial quote! They are absolutely honest in their rendering of service; they've never tried to upsell me something I don't need. Plus, I have never had to bring it back a 2nd time for something they fixed. Why? Because they do it right the FIRST time with the right tools and equipment with years of experience. And last but not least, they have a very rapid turn-around time (always finish early- I love that!). OK? So now you can understand why I say MB STARS IS THEE BESTEST!! DO NOT GO HERE if you have a newer car. Dangerous service. I took my 2022 Toyota Camry for an oil change, and they put 10W-30 oil instead of the manufacturer-required 0W-16. 10W-30 is way too thick for this engine and can cause serious damage and void the warranty. When I pointed this out and asked them to fix it, the staff was extremely unprofessional, claiming they "use this for all Japanese cars" and told me I had to pay MORE money to get the correct oil. I had to go to a different shop immediately to get it fixed. They don't follow basic vehicle specs and have zero accountability. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Part of running a successful business is letting the customer know what is going on. I had a 10am appt cuz my coolant light went on and they were going to check it out. By 1030am, they hadn't looked at my car yet and I asked what is going on? They said they will look at it and went back to what they were doing. No explanation. I decided to take my business elsewhere. The new owners could be better mechanics that the last but I'll never know. read more

A great place to go if you have issues on your Mercedes Benz. Experienced, honest, professional and reasonable pricing.

Very straightforward. Easy to schedule a service. A very trustworthy business which is not common nowadays. Thank you MB Stars!

It is located in a easily missed plaza with other auto repair company. I recently purchased my end of lease MB GLC300 SUV. MB dealer offer one year warranty, so when one engine warning light came up it took a few days and they didn't find anything wrong and just gave us oil change. A couple months later car will start leaking something in garage and looks pink, since we have maintenance done at MB stars in the past with 10 yr plus MB. We went to check on busy Saturday and they immediately put my car to pressure test and they feel it's one of the pipe went bad so they quoted a price with labor. They didn't charge me for diagnostic. Now I have it after a couple months later, no leaks now, but maybe battery will go bad soon. At 5th year. I will not hesitate to come here if you have minor issues with your MB or any car in my opinion. read more

Honest and professional service. They have servicing all my cars for years and still excellent care.

Michael and Albert are pretty thorough with their service. I have been their regular customer (happy) customer for about 15 years since they were in West Covina. I highly recommend their services. read more

Bought my teenager her Mercedes, knowing that we will continue to come to MB Stars for the best, honest service. They were my parents' trusted MB mechanics, then mine, now my teen. I was confident they would take great care and continue their top notch, honest and top quality service. Confident enough to send her for her car's recent service. They never disappoint and treated her with the same respect that they are known for. They have saved me throughout the years, even when the MB service at the dealership in Ontario purposely disconnected my air conditioner, wanted to charge me $$$$$ for it, took it to MB Stars, and they found and easily reconnected, I don't even remember them charging me. HONEST, great experts here at MB Stars! I honestly don't even ask the price anymore before the work is done. They are amazing! Thank you MB Stars, wish everyone were like you! read more

Based on all the incredibly positive reviews, I contacted Michael regarding my Mercedes CLS550. The people that recently did an oil change had alerted me to a small oil leak. I spoke to Michael over the phone and explained the issue. I made an appointment and arrived today. Michael greeted me and immediately did an inspection of my car. Michael showed me the source of a very minor amount of oil which had escaped from the oil filter and assured me that this was not an issue. I offered to pay him for his time and the diagnosis and he refused to accept my money. I found Michael and MB Stars to be very friendly, professional and extremely honest. Based on my interaction with Michael today, they have a customer for life! Thank you Michael. read more

Excellent customer care and car service. Had a diagnostic service and a used car evaluation. I will trust them with my car.

The best place to take your Mercedes for service. I tried to install my windshield wipers, but I didn't do it correctly and broke off a piece of the plastic base. I brought my car to MB stars, and he did a wonderful job! read more

This is the only independent shop you should take your Mercedes Benz for service, especially if you call your Benz "your baby" or are a car enthusiast! They use the real OEM Mercedes Diagnostic Software (Xentry) and show you, the customer, everything on a large flat screen monitor. Open work concept so you can actually see exactly what they are doing. Prices lower than the dealership, of course, but also even a little lower than other indy's. I recently picked up a 2003 CLK500 and took it straight here based off a recommendation on the Benz World forums and I was thoroughly pleased. Did my Service A, they use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil, fixed 2 minor brake light error codes that most other mechanics wouldn't have spent the time(30mins) on, and inspected the car to ensure nothing else was needed. I actually asked to get the A/C system flushed since its a 16 year old car but he showed me on the Xentry diagnostic system that it was functioning perfectly (kudos Mercedes). Hope this review helps other Benz owners who look for these types of details when taking their car in for maintenance and repair (I know I do!). read more

My 05 E500 front right suspension started making little squeaky noise. I came here and the guys were able to find out the problem quickly. It was a worn out ball joint on the lower control arm. They gave me a fairly reasonable quote for the replacement, and told me that it shouldn't be a safety concern, so I don't need to replace it immediately. But I think I will eventually come back and have it replaced anyways because the car is old. They are honest people and they seem like they are pretty good at what they do. read more

Love this place. They're very professional, friendly, and efficient. Their prices are reasonable and you will save a lot coming here rather than the dealer who overcharges. I have brought my car here twice to get serviced and loved the service both times. They also gave me recommendations of things my car is going to need soon like the brakes and tires. I definitely recommend bringing your car here if you're looking for somewhere to service it. Will continue to bring my car here all the time now. read more

First of all I want to thank everyone who left a review. This is what had me bring my GL450 to him. I just moved from the West Side and had service done on my car back in May of 2019, it cost me almost 4k for the B service, new lights and another service I can't remember. From the moment I left with my car I noticed my lights were having issues. They told me to drive the car around and that it could be wiring blah blah blah.... Well after the engine light going off, brake wear warning, sensors constantly going off saying I was too close to something when I wasn't even near anything and my lights flickering on and off constantly, I decided to take a gamble and go to MB Starts. I made an appointment with Michael, told him everything that was going wrong. I got a call later in the afternoon with the results: 1 )I didn't need new brakes, just a wire that was stretched and needed to be replaced 2) The sensors were going off like crazy due to my front license plate being bent (He bent it back and no problems) 3) My "new" light(s) turns out they put one of theirs in and POOF, problem gone! 4) The engine light showing that I needed coolant was false and it was some minor thing I forgot he did to correct it. 5) My lighter and something else in my car wasn't working and just needed new fuses. There were a few other things that I can't remember but I was so surprised that I didn't need all the work other places would have recommended and charged me. I asked him if I should get an oil change or tune up and he said there was no need for it, since the last service I did, I hadn't even put on 2K miles. If this is honest, I don't know what is! The entire service cost me $500.00. I will only go here from my Mercedes and trust Michael with my car. If you need a place that is really honest and know your going to get your car back without having to worry if they really did the work needed to be done, this is the place. I can't say or write enough about how happy I am. Thank you again Yelpers for your wonderful reviews. Had I just gone to the nearest place or dealership, who knows what I would have ended up having done to my car. Thank you Michael for being so honest and getting my car done so quickly. Those of us that have had you work on our cars know the incredible work you do and your integrity. It's refreshing to know honest mechanics are actually out there! read more

It was time for my wife's older Mercedes to get its "A" service - so I made an appointment and returned to Michael and Albert at MB Stars. This service was performed promptly and efficiently with no attempt at making any unneeded "upsells" - and was much more cost effective than going to a M-B dealer. read more

Great shop! Michael and Albert have always been extremely responsive and easy to work with. They are truly honest, reliable, professional and are highly skilled. I have recommended this place to all my friends and family who have Mercedes Benz and most of them do come here, the others just live too far away! Pricing is pretty fair and they are very open to telling you if you do or don't need something. They won't try to sell you on every little bit that doesn't need fixing. Definitely will be coming back again soon! read more

I have been going to Michael and Albert for years now for my C250 & I cannot thank them enough for all of their help and kindness. I work a ton between two hospitals and drive quite a bit. Im usually short on time. That being said, if I feel like anything feels off on the car, or I have any questions about anything while I'm on the road, I'll give them a quick call. they've been very honest with me in terms of how much I should worry about the issue at hand, what my timeline is in terms of when to come in and see them, and what I can do in the interim while I still need the car (my schedule can be hectic). They're so understanding and trustworthy. I recently called them from my smog check to make sure I wasn't being nickel and dimed, and they gave me the kind of answer I would expect from someone I trust. I appreciate their honesty and their patience with me and my crazy schedule. Additionally, when it comes to the services they've offered, I've been blown away with the quality, efficiency, and fairness of their prices. In the past, I have brought my car in because my check engine light would intermittently blink on. They have gone through the steps and took photos of what they found m. what I appreciated the most was that once they found out the issue was something small - it came down to cleaning a part (again they take photos to show what they're working on), they didn't feel comfortable charging me for a service that wasn't that difficult of a fix. Thank you for always being so honest and kind. I appreciate all of your help and patience through the years. read more

The BEST experience I've had at ANY auto service center. These brothers are so great! Michael gave me a quote for the work I needed over the phone (which is unheard of, if you try calling a MB dealer they will push you to come in and "see what needs to be done"), and when the job was done, it was EXACTLY the price he originally quoted me. No surprise upsells, he only informed me of other issues they discovered and did not push me at all to get them done. They use Xentry (super important) and will even give you a copy of the printout if you ask. Such integrity, I will definitely be coming back and recommending them to anyone that drives a Benz and wants their "baby" to last as long as possible. read more

These guys are the reason why I still have my Mercedes and have a hard time parting with it. Their operation is efficient, reasonably priced, and trustworthy. I drive about 40 miles to see them instead of a shop 3 miles from my house. One time they quoted me somewhere between 30 min to an hour for a service. No problem, cant rush greatness.
