Liars! Here are the issues I've had with them: They neglected to return my dipstick into my car once and had a fit when I returned asking them to replace it. That same visit I paid extra for Mobil 1 oil and I don't know what they used but it was NOT Mobil 1. Make them show you when they change your air or cabin filters because they will tell you they are going to change them but they don't and they will charge you anyway. I paid for a new one once, and decided to go else where for my next oil change and the new place showed me that my filter was FILTHY and OLD!!! It was never changed at Oilmen! And finally, I just love when they bring me a sample of what my ATF looks like when I have a sealed transmission. Most oil change shops won't go near that for liability reasons, but they see a woman who they think doesn't know any better and think they can get us to agree to pay for an unnecessary $300 service that I know I still have MANY more miles before it is needed. I drove down from the bay this past weekend and my check engine light came on. I didn't want to drive back with the light on and they were one of the few shops who are open on Sunday and they had good reviews so I decided to check them out. They diagnosed my car and saw what was wrong using their tablet and it was my mass air flow sensor. They were able to get the parts and finish everything within 1.5 hours. This shop was packed (on a Sunday) so you know they're reliable. I was allowed to watch them the whole time as they were doing it. They're transparent, honest, and reliable. I want people to know that this place isn't very honest, that they don't tell you the truth when you return with a complaint. For example, I've been going to this place for about four or five years for my oil changes. About six months ago, I noticed an oil leak, and when I went back, they told me that the bolt had broken. It's impossible that they hadn't noticed that when tightening it. I believe it was negligence, and they thought I wouldn't come back. Meanwhile, my driveway was covered in oil, and I had to return to see what was wrong with my car. Then, when I went back, they said, "Oh yes, it's the bolt, we'll replace it," and they did. Now, I go to another place, and they tell me that, yes, the bolt was put in, but the gasket wasn't, and that's why my car is still leaking oil. Not as much as before, but the oil pan had oil and it will need to be replaced. I just people to be cautious with this place. read more

They showed on hand all the original Honda transmission fluid that they use, all my cabin and air filters, and my brakes that are worn out. The manager was not pressing and just telling me what needed to be done. I ended up getting my oil change and my brakes and rotors (front) done today. Everything was done within 2 hours. I used to go to the Oilmen in El Monte, but discovered that there is one closer to me. Oilmen is great! Awesome customer service. Once your car is in, it takes about 15-20 minutes for an oil change. They check fluids and top them off, such as windshield wiper fluid. Prices are good. I bring all my cars here. read more

Even cleaned my windows I was told I needed the transmission fluid changed, which i had neglected for 50k miles. Went back just now and they took care of the transmission fluid easy. Started hearing this really loud grinding noise so I decided to bring it into this shop. Had a bad experience in the past where another shop said they put new rotors and pads but they only resurfaced my rotors. This shop went out of their way to show me my current old ones and what the brand new rotors looked like. I asked them if I can watch them install the new brake pads and rotors and they had no issue with it. These guys are textbook and really good at what they do. Been coming here for 6 years now just before Covid, and this place never disappoints. I have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport and they've always been honest, efficient, and careful. They've done my spark plugs, oil changes, and my brakes and rotors. I've always watched their work and they've always done a good job. Highly highly recommend this place. Had gone here to do my regular oil change. Car started to smell after a few days after turning on AC. Took to dealership to check just in case it was a separate issue. Turns out the oil was overfilled. Oil leaks in my engine. Place will not acknowledge it despite a written report from dealership. Management refuses to do anything about it. Show up on Sunday since I was told to go on Sunday since the owner would be there. Told to show up next Sunday. i have taken my car here a few times in the past few years whenever i'm in a rush and need an oil change. Usually i have no problems but this weekend i experienced enough to keep me away for good. The manager Berto advised i needed additional work done to my car. i thanked him for letting me know and stated i would bring those things up with my regular mechanic. About an hour after my oil change was done, i had 7 or 8 service lights go off all at once. When i brought it back the next day, the same manager was extremely rude and dismissive stating that "lights come on it's not my problem". i would understand if it were 1 light. but CLEARLY they did some shady things and broke a sensor. he quoted me $200 to fix it. I took the car to my regular mechanic and am paying for the mistake. I will NEVER be returning. Just because it is quick does not mean it's worth it. Please do yourselves a favor and take your cars anywhere else. The service alone when i came back to voice my concerns was enough for me to never give this place a second chance. read more

I cannot express how disappointed and honestly angry I am, I came here for a simple oil change ($90) they broke one of my spark plugs, and my car has been breaking down ever since. They replaced the spark plug they broke, but who knows what else they did to my vehicle? I was there for nearly 3 hours watching them poke around my car. FOR AN OIL CHANGE! Check the footage. They're fast, efficient, professional, and the prices are definitely reasonable. They top off all the fluids and they check all your filters. This place has good reviews so I decided to come here. As I arrived the staff welcomed me and offered to take my car inside. The staff was really knowledgeable and explained what they were doing to the car in detail. They told me how much my full synthetic 0W20 oil change was before we started so I was fully aware of what I was paying before the service was done. That's something I really appreciated. For no additional charge, they clean your windows, check your air pressure, and top off all your fluids. When I went to the dealership for my service around 20,000 miles they charged me over $50 for an air filter and I was just expected to trust the dealership's word. But at this business, they physically took out and showed me my air filter and cabin air filter and it was really dirty and told me it was $50 for both since it was my first time here. They even took the time to show me the brand new air filters and opened the packages in front of me! I know a lot of car service businesses get the reputation of taking advantage of customers, but that definitely wasn't my impression of this business. They checked all my fluids, checked my air pressure, and they even checked my air filter. The last place I went to said they replaced my air filter but these guys took the air filter right in front of me and it was very dirty, almost black. Eric is currently the manager and is on the level on what you need and the prices for services are pasted in front and on the walls and he would explain the process, the type of oil to be used and the duration of wait.
