Whether it was for a service or consultation/estimate, Mark has been patient to hear me out through my million questions and explain each process. He's never tried to pressure me to do a service I didn't need and their pricing is quite reasonable. He even threw in a brake inspection and O2 sensor test at no extra charge since I was already in for the valve adjustment! I'm most happy to have found a mechanic that actually listens to my concerns - thanks to Mark for being so sweet! Our family's Ford Explorer required a water pump replacement…read more I visited several local auto shops to obtain quotes and was shocked, disappointed, and discouraged at the prices I was being quoted for the work my vehicle required ($5,000-$7,500) Shame on me for not reading Yelp reviews before wasting my time visiting other auto shops. I read the many positive reviews for Hye-Tech Auto Repair and decided to visit them. Upon entering, I was greeted by John (owner) with a friendly, "Welcome, how may I help you?" I explained that my Ford Explorer needed a new water pump and a few other items that other auto shops had advised me would require repair or replacement. While John looked up a few items on the computer to provide me with a quote, he introduced me to his son, Harry, who happened to be in the office. Thirty seconds later, John provided a quote that was $3,500-$4,000 less than the other shops. I could not believe it. John explained that he makes his living and succeeds in his business through repeat customers, and he does not believe in gouging customers for every last penny. He also shared that when he retires, his son Harry will take over the business, and he wants to leave Harry with a solid foundation of loyal repeat customers. It was then that I knew I could trust John and his son Harry. John went on to explain that replacing the water pump on a Ford Explorer was a 10-12 hour job, as it was an internal pump requiring numerous engine parts to be removed to reach it. This was the same thing all the other shops advised me. John suggested that I leave my vehicle, and he would perform a full inspection of the engine and contact me before doing anything to it. I agreed and left my vehicle. The following day, I was contacted by John, who advised me that the water pump did indeed need to be replaced, as it was the source of the constant leaks of the water coolant. I left my vehicle in John's shop for three days. During this time, John or his son, Harry, contacted me numerous times to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle and also to point out that mechanics had discovered two or three very inexpensive items (under $50.00) which they recommended replacing, which I agreed to have done. All in all, I was and am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything about this shop. I spent much less money to have five different issues repaired on my vehicle at Hye-Tech than what I was quoted to replace my water pump alone by every single shop I visited prior to coming to Hye-Tech. John and Harry are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. They are also very knowledgeable and experienced, and they offer GREAT customer service and communication. This is my new go-to shop for any issues involving our family vehicles. Thank you, Hye-Tech Auto Repair, for a very positive experience.

The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.

My car was overheating so I popped the hood and there was coolant leaking from my radiator. I was on my to Torrance but I didn't want my car overheating so I had to stop and search for car shop that were open. I came here and called them if they can take care of my car today and they said yes so I called Triple A to tow my car to this shop. There were 4 cars already there so it showed they had customers that can trust them. I was introduced by a older Hispanic guy who is the manager I believe. He said he can do my car today for $380 to change my radiator, which is a fairly good price. I appreciated them because despite the amount of cars that were coming in, there was always one guy working on my car. My car was done within 2 and half hours. Great Customer Service. I bought a 2017 Infinite QX50 that did not have the front license plate bracket. I purchased one through amazon and originally went to Firestone, but they directed me to Oilmen that was next door because Firestone only will work on your car cosmetically if you buy the part from them. They tell you everything that is going on with your car such as what filters needed to be changed, the condition of your transmission fluid, and your brake pads and rotors all part of the service of an oil change. We have dropped the car off back in September and got the car back with ac not working the visor That was supposed to be replaced came off while driving and with no gas on the car not once twice. We went to the shop 3 times to pick up the car and first time we picked up the car the car had no gas and car was smoking after driving 11 miles and this time after 3 months we picked up the car with empty tank once again. After leaving the car several times on full tank of gas. After calculation someone in the shop drove over 500 miles worth the gas. Also adding that the interior of our leather seats have several scratches and dirty prints on the handles. Overall after paying little bit over 6k we have picked the car up with no gas, interior of the car filthy dirty, driver seat visor broken, and ac/heater not working. I still don't know how this establishment still stay in business with this unprofessionalism and lack of accountability for their services. Deion and his team should not be offering any of the complex services and just stay doing simple oil changes and check ups. HIGHLY not recommending this place if you need any complex services unless you want to waste 6k and time waiting for your car that works partially. Good luck to this place. I won't be shocked if your establishment is closed by next year.
