Needed a transmission flush on my accord and got recommended by several friends to come here. It was really packed when i got there so that was an indicator of a good sign. The manager was really friendly and very accommodating when it was my time for service. I stood in front of the car and watched them the entire time just to make sure there was no funny business. They were the real deal, and very friendly, and the price was reasonable. Definitely going to be coming back. read more

This place had great service! I brought my car in for an oil change and they finished it within 10 mins and charged me a very reasonable price! I would totally come back for future services! read more

I usually go here for oil change which is 19.99$. After your oil change, they tell you need to get some stuff done and that's how they get you. I usually say no, however they showed me my cabin air filter and it needed changing. I heard him say 30$ and I agreed. He ordered one of the guys to "get" the filter and next thing I know, the guy comes back f clearly just bought the filter from a nearby store!!!!!! And I looked at my receipt and he charged me 39.99$!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Do not fall for the "19.99 deal." Once you get checked out there are different fees added to it and ends up being close to $30. Better off going to a car wash spot and get a free car wash with an oil change. read more

*** CUSTOMERS BEWARE *** Before you have service done at this place make sure you are given a price for the labor and parts before the service is preformed. I came to this place two weeks prior to my last visit to get an oil change for my Toyota Tacoma. I brought the following item below with me that day. * Mobil Synthetic Oil 6qts They changed my oil and provide me with a filter for $20.00. I came back two weeks later to get an oil change for my wife's Toyota Yaris and brought the following item below with me that day. * Mobil Synthetic Oil 5qts The old filipino guy told me it was going to cost $35.00 to change the oil. The following conversation ensued between me and the old guy: Me: I need an oil change for my car. Old Guy: What kind of car? Me: Toyota Yaris. Old Guy: Fill this out. (Filled out the paperwork) Old Guy: An oil change will be $20 with filter Me: Ok, I brought my own oil. Old Guy: Synthetic? Me: Yes. Old Guy: Well, that will be $35 then for the labor and filter. Me: No, I brought my own oil. Old Guy: Yes, $35 is just the cost of the labor and filter. Me: I got charged $20 just two weeks ago for the same service. Old Guy: Who charged you $20? Me: The other guy did. Old Guy: (With an attitude) We don't do $20 anymore! *** THERE IS A SIGN UP FRONT THAT SAYS 19.99 FOR AN OIL CHANGE *** It just does not make sense on why it would cost more money if I brought my own oil! Please stop trying to cheat customers or lure them into paying prices that makes no sense! By the way, Puente Hills Toyota on Gale charges $20 for the labor and filter change if you bring your own oil. read more

$23 oil change in 15 minutes? Sure! I came here on my lunch break and no one was in front of me, although two customers came right after me. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and was in and out of there in under 20 minutes. They wiped down my windows and did an overall check on my car. I admit, I have limited knowledge about cars and I have no idea whether or not they did a decent job changing my oil. However, the service was friendly and fast and it sure beats spending $50 at Jiffy Lube. read more

Come here if you would like to be upcharged for everything. Called and got a quote over the phone and then when I came in the price kept increasing for the simple oil change. After, they suggested I change my transmission fluid because it was "very dirty" and would ruin my car. They also tried to change my air filters when I always do it myself and had just changed them. Also, word to the wise, they do not put seals on your oil like all places do. read more

Tried to up sell me. Quoted 70 dollars but charged 99 dollars for oil change. Their integrity called into question. Then went to O'Rielly's auto parts next door to buy oil and filter to change my own oil, plus check their job. They overfilled my oil by 1 quart(guess they wanted to blow my gaskets and seals). Also broke my air filter housing clip. Horrible experience so come here at your own risk. I've rebuilt 3 engines myself in my garage so I have a bit of experience. I shouldn't of been lazy that day and just did the job myself. . . read more

Very very disappointed in this location, I have been bringing my Toyota Tacoma 2020 for oil change here, never had any issues , I had noticed a leak of oil when my truck is parked , when opening my hood I noticed a lot of oil around the filter. I asked a mechanic to check it out , he said I recommend you to take your car where you got it serviced because they didn't put the filter on right and that's why it's leaking , my husband went and explained what happened the guys at the oilmen blamed the mechanic that checked out my truck , I got the oil change in June 21, 2021 not even 2 months yet . The guy was very disrespectful about the whole situation. If I'm paying for something I expect it to be done right I pay $115 have all my receipts. They were not professional about the situation, the guy told some other worker to just water down the oil that's leaking. Never coming back again !!! So please be careful when doing oil changes here. Now I got to pay for another oil change and for someone to clean the oil in my engine. I would put no star if I could. read more

Went in because of the reviews and I've gone to the Oilmen 1 oilmen 2 is just much closer to my house and they are total jerks and a RIP off I called ahead of time of avoid any nonsense they try and give about extra charges confirmed my vehicle and price it was fifty bux about sixty totally after prices and what not I get there hes trying to run me for 80 bux then says be can use cheaper oil for 70 forget that he told me the wrong price to begin with and at that price there is no savings I can go to valvoline or somewhere better damn I thought this was going to be a good spot too go somewhere more reputable with a more professional staff. I might even drive to oil guys 1 but oilguys 2 is trash read more

i usually go to this place strictly for oil changes. They once haggled me into getting a fuel injection procedure done on my car which was $70. I took my car to my car to another shop which told me I didn't need one. They also did this to my girlfriend as well. In my opinion I feel like this place could cheat you. Just go here for the oil changes and get a second opinion on any other type of work they "recommend". Every time I go to get an oil change they keep telling me tell me something is wrong with my car. So one time I went to another place and that mechanic told me NOTHING was wrong or needed to be done! The place is small and simple. Very quick, 10 minutes tops. Very affordable. read more

Fast service! no tricks here David is awesome Came in for an oil change and everything else was checked everything looked good oil change was a little extra since my car takes synthetic oil nothing unreasonable definitely coming back! read more

I've been coming to these guys for YEARS!!! For about as long as I've owned my car. The price is good very reasonable and the service is always excellent. They always take the time to talk to me if they find anything that needs to be checked out. I'm no mechanic and about the only maintenance thing I know how to do is get a regular oil change so I totally appreciate when they bring things to my attention. I usually come here during lunch and they get the job done nice and quick. On a side note: I think the guys that work there get along well with each other and the vibe I get is that there's a good work atmosphere. That counts for something in my book. read more

Very bad experience i came here for an oil change yesterday they charge me $78 because they said it was synthetic oil so when it's done they were also the ones who noticed that it was leaking they told me they broke the housing or oil cap something i don't know what it's called when they try to open it's so tight & so it broked so it was leaking and i have no choice but to pay for the damaged part oh well i took my car there for an oil change then you force to open that prolly you used a wrong tool! i'm definitely not coming back to them very bad experience! it was a 2016 toyota rav 4 i should have just brought it to the dealership! So yes they charge me $45 for the part they broke! oh well God Bless you guys & hoping that next time you'll be more honest and fair! They charge me $128 total! what a rip off! read more

Been coming here for years. It's reliable and fast and they never try and scam you like jiffy lube. The owner is a nice guy and the workers always leave my car well vacuumed. read more

Been coming to this place ever since the dealership screwed me over. I have a Honda Civic SI and I get full synthetic for my engine oil. I watch them drain out the old oil, put the new oil filter and the new oil in. They're legit, and they're customer service is second to none. The last time I was here I also did my Transmission Flush for a reasonable price and they did it in 30 minutes. Highly recommend coming to this shop! read more

This place is a rip I promise you... they don't do the inspection and actually check fluids and there customer service sucks

Fast, friendly, and open on Sundays. By far the cheapest synthetic oil change in my area. Plus, they clean your windows

Great friendly service and professional service! When I'm in the area I always come to this car shop. Affordable prices, good management and overall a good experience every time I come. Definitely recommend coming here for your car services!! read more

Excellent service here always. Fast service always and super friendly staff. Wish I could have known about this spot from the very begging of me having a car. Definitely recommended!! No more Walmart and other crappy oil change spots. read more

Let me begin by saying I never leave bad reviews - I get it things happen ... but have to today for the protection of all - they are incompetent sharks. They cracked my oil pan (No argument there) - replacement quote over $500.00. instead of offering an apology the employee Max and Ramon were disrespectful beyond imagination - Ramon, to my amazement became vulgar. So I write this for one purpose only - women , dads who care about their daughters, husbands who care about their wives - all people who do t care to support a rude vulgar incompetent establishment. Go to the REAL oilmen not oilmen 2. They are independent and answer to No one. I have no recourse other than to assume the responsibility for trusting them and I've on. read more

Fast friendly service. No pushy employees here trying to get you to spend extra money on services. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, and that was for an oil change and a transmission flush. read more

flat tire, fixed immediately w great customer service!! i'm glad they i chose to come to the Oilman

In exchange for an enclosed air conditioned waiting room with a TV that you would find at Firestone or perhaps at some Jiffy Lube locations, unless you have a coupon at those centers, you get a cheaper bill for an oil change at The Oilmen. Their price is extremely fair which hovers around $23 using conventional dinosaur oil. That's because if you did the oil change yourself, you would have already spent $17-$18 on supplies alone (using the most economical budget scenario: dinosaur oil+filter+cost of trouble to get your used oil to the recycling center). Add 5 bucks for labor, and you've got the price that The Oilmen are charging. 5 bucks for labor! Imagine that! That's a steal if you ask me. Upon entering this what seems to be a Filipino family-owned facility, don't let the akward stares and speechless demeanor from the technicians mislead you as many Filipino men are inherently reserved, yet curious people. Once you are verbally greeted by one of the service reps, you will quickly discover that beneath their rough exterior, they are actually very nice. While you wait for your car, have a seat outside on the humble plastic patio furniture or perhaps stand and wait under a nearby tree for shade on a hot summer day. Don't let the owner's kids bother you as they play around you during the summer months and be sure to lift your feet up when while auntee sweeps under the chairs to keep things tidy. In no time, your car will be all set and ready to go. Off topic, remember that YOU and ONLY YOU are responsible for getting your oil changes done. Regardless what anyone tells you, (including these guys at The Oilmen) follow the recommendations from YOUR CAR MANUAL. Modern cars commonly have oil change intervals of 5K-7K or 5-7 months (which ever comes first) using standard dinosaur oil, and for older cars, 3K or 3 months (which ever comes first). Here's an interesting note: "... research conducted by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) shows that nearly three-quarters of Californian drivers change their motor oil more often than automaker recommendations. Following the 3,000 mile myth generates millions of gallons of waste oil every year that can pollute California's natural resources." -California's Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery If the service rep recommends other stuff to replace, question them and ask them to show you. Air filters needs replacing if you cant see light shining through them and transmission flushes should be, again, scheduled according to what your car manual says. If they can't justify their reccomendations, tell them NO. Simple as that. Bottom line: If have time to read this stuff on Yelp, pretty sure there's a 99% chance you have time to pick up your car manual and read the darn thing. It's not that difficult! Then you will have the knowledge and confidence of having your car serviced without getting ripped off, regardless where you go. Anyway, back to the review. To make a long story short, their price is great and the service is quick. They do their job. It's an oil change, and they change oil. It's not rocket science. read more

Been coming to this shop for 5 months now, and man this place doesn't disappoint. Came in today to get my transmission service done, and it was really packed. Solid place, they did my oil change, I was not disappointed. They are very professional.

I drive all the way from long beach to get my car services here. They're always reliable, the staff is always friendly, and their service is fast. Unfortunately I have work during the weekdays, so I only have time to come on the weekends and it's always packed. Inconvenient for me, but a good indicator for the business. Did my transmission flush here recently, and no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend coming to this shop! read more

Came here to get an oil change in early January and although they were fast and somewhat friendly they didn't do very good. They charged me a lot because they said my car needs synthetic oil and it needed a new AC filter. Unfortunately I don't know much about exactly what the car needs since I usually go to the dealership but I came here for faster service. Early March my car told me it needed an oil change again!! I went to the dealer and they said it was low. I explained I had gotten an oil change in January and they said the place where I took it probably didn't put as much oil as it actually needed!!! They just took my money and didn't do a proper job. I am so upset and will NEVER be coming back here! read more

Do NOT bring your car here if you JUST had your windows tinted!! I brought my car here for an oil change on a Sun morning last month! I specifically told All the employees including the manager on duty to NOT roll my 2 front windows down because I just had them tinted prior to bringing it to The Oilmen for an oil change! One of the employees drives my car around the back after the oil change with the Driver side window nearly all the way down! Long story short! I had to pay $40 to have the driver side tint removed and replaced out of my own pocket!! Mr Rommel one of the owners said he would "take care of it!" Meaning pay me the $40 his employee messed up my window tint! Up to this point I have filed a complaint from the BBB! Im still waiting for a phn call from Mr Rommel to schedule a pickup of my $40 owed to me! He is Dodging my phn calls! Update: Today 11/9/2017.. I stopped by The Oilmen in Walnut and spoke with Albert. He kindly gave me a $40 check for the driver side window tint damaged by one of their employees. This issue has been resolved. Thank you. read more

Very friendly customer service and very quick in their service. They clean your windows, check your tires, and check the engine. A nice family owned small business company to support in walnut. Best auto service out there. Highly recommend. They were quick and polite with the work. I would definitely come here again!

You won't get all the extras that you'd get if you went to the dealer -- the full inspection, topping off of liquids, complementary car wash -- but you get super fast service for a basic $20 oil change. Today it took 15 minutes. read more
