I visited here for the first time for an oil change based on positive Yelp reviews. I liked that it is independently owned. The people that work here are friendly and the shop looked clean. You stay in your car the entire time. It only took about 10 minutes. I paid $72 with tax for a synthetic oil change. I probably could have found a cheaper place, but who wants to hang around all day. I found this place on Yelp after some bad experiences at Walmart, which I had used in the past for synthetic oil changes. It's a little pricier than Walmart, but still much cheaper than the dealer. I'm glad I ended up here. For future reference, I would rather go straight here rather than get ignored and wait for hours for an impersonal corporation or worry about tiptoeing around a overly eager car salesman. I have been getting my oil changed for the last 15 years but couldn't really tell you what a good price is, so not sure if this is a good value but the time and convenience is almost priceless for me. Rude! I just moved in the neighborhood a few years ago. I did an oil change on my car in the apartment complex next to their shop. Instead of going to Walmart to recycle the oil, I decided to ask them if they will recycle the oil for me and then ask how much they charge for brakes since I need a new brakes at the time. As soon as I asked if they were able to recycle my oil here, the man who I wasn't even talking to and did not see, interrupted and said "no" in a raised, angry voice. He started mad-doggin' me as if I asked to see naked pictures of his mother. I looked at the person who I was originally talking to and said, "Okay. Thank you." Now, they might be great mechanics, that mechanic might not work there anymore, or that mechanic might be a real nice guy you just had a bad day. I don't want to be too judgmental, but I will still go somewhere else to get my car repaired. It's not that hard to be cordial. read more

Excellent service! I was in an out within 10 minutes and didn't even have to schedule an appointment. These guys are incredibly friendly and honest, and will not try to upsell you :) came in for a basic oil change and got more than what I was expecting, but without spending more!! My guy found a vacuum line disconnected and fixed it, I definitely heard it hissing before coming in too so I figured there was something going on with the vacuum system. Also, when they checked my air filter, it was pretty dirty but definitely useable and they actually recommended it should just be cleaned rather than replaced, unlike JiffyLube where they charged me for a new filter, even when I said no!! I wasted $120 there OilBuddy was $51 out the door. Didn't even have to get out of my car, or wait 45 minutes like at the other place! Awesome location, I will only be coming here from hereon out. read more

I have been getting my oil changed at Oil Buddy exclusively for 3 years now. There's a reason they have almost all 5 star reviews on both Yelp, (46 reviews,) and Google, (174 reviews.) Fast, friendly, professional service. I want to give major props to whoever is in charge of hiring/training. I used to get my oil changed at Walmart, (I know...) and the wait was usually about 2 hours, even if they weren't very busy. I had to plan my day around getting it done! No matter how long the line is here, I have never waited more than 30-45 minutes. If you're waiting in line, they come to your window and let you know how long the wait will be. If they have a concern about something they see while they're working on your car, they'll ask you about it/let you know. Since I started coming here, I have moved over 20 minutes away but trust me, it is worth the drive.
