I was excited to get some ramen at Oiistar. It was Sunday and we arrived just before 5:30. For some reason we thought it would be a slow night, but boy howdy were we wrong! When we walked in there was already a line. I put in our name and received a "welcome to the waitlist" text at 5:27. I think they told me it would be 30 minutes. We went next store to peruse the art gallery. I got a text they were ready to seat us at 5:44 - a pretty quick turnaround. We were seated at the bar, which wasn't idea but beggars can't be choosers. Turns out they took great care of us. David started with a tempura shrimp bun. It looked wonderful. He didn't share any insights on the flavor, but he cleaned the plate! Two of us ordered #3, PAITAN SHIO with FUKUOKA ROASTED GARLIC RAMEN. I added ground pork to mine. David had the SPICY GARLIC SHOYUMEN. There was nothing I didn't love about my ramen. The ground pork was a delicious addition, providing a nice meaty flavor to every bite. I thought the pork belly was wonderful. Mark found it too fatty, but I think that's to be expected. I was nervous about the bamboo shoots, but my concerns were unfounded. The bamboo shoots were small, delicate and delectable. There are so many options, if we lived in the area we would come back often in order to taste all the options. If you love ramen and haven't been to Oiistar, do yourself a favor and check it out.
This might be my new favorite ramen spot! As someone loyal to Gyuro Ramen for their rich gyukotsu broth, I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but Oiistar completely exceeded expectations. Umami Ramen - Absolutely incredible. The broth has this perfect umami depth that rivals the best tonkotsu I've had. Spice level 2 was spot-on, flavorful heat without overwhelming the complex miso base. The Berkshire pork belly literally melts in your mouth, and they're generous with both meat and broth portions. This is easily two meals worth of food and completely satisfying. Bao Buns: Berkshire Pork Belly Bun - This set the bar high and delivered. The pork belly is rich and flavorful (essentially the same as what's in the ramen), with great contrast from the cucumber and daikon sprout. The sweet sake soy reduction ties it all together beautifully. Must try. Tempura Shrimp Bun - Good but not memorable. The shrimp was well-battered but got lost under too much pickled fennel slaw. The Thai sweet chili mayo was nice, but wouldn't order again. Service was excellent - staff helped me pick my ramen and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere is perfect for a casual ramen experience, and thoughtful touches like having a proper coat rack show they care about the details. Highly recommend!
It's a little bit overpriced for ramen in my opinion, but the portions are pretty big so I was able to stretch this bowl over two meals. Good flavor and great chunks of pork.
Late Review This past spring I came here while I was pregnant craving ramen for the umpteenth time. I've ordered take out from Oiistar twice but never sat down to eat. Finally decided to and had the best server. He said he'd been working there for about 10 years and knew everything on the menu. Perfect timing for me as I was 8 months. We initially ordered the pork belly bao bun and one other I can't remember the name of. He accidentally sent out the shrimp bao bun and let us keep it (glad he did because it was best out of 3). For the ramen, I was looking for a specific item that wasn't on the menu anymore but he pointed out all I had to do was swap broths. Naturally, I don't remember the item but it was absolutely delicious. It's a fairly small restaurant so not expecting any upscale cocktails but I would have enjoyed a non-alcoholic beverage that wasn't a fountain drink. I ended up sticking with water. Did I mention my server was great? Loved my experience! Overall 8.5/10
Pretty solid spot for some ramen (4.5/5 stars)! My friend and I visited here on a Tuesday afternoon so thankfully there was a good amount of space for street parking. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by a very welcoming/friendly server who took us to our seat. I enjoyed how open and aired out the restaurant felt. The big windows also allowed so much natural lighting to come in which felt nice during lunch time. This is what my friend and I ordered: Tonkatsu Buns Umami (Spicy Level 2) Paitan Shio Fried Garlic Chicken Sambal Both ramens had a savory, rich broth which was very satisfying. The char shiu (pork belly) was an absolute star- so tender and flavorful (honestly the best I've had in a while). The portions are also pretty large too so I had to take my leftovers to go. The Tonkatsu Buns were good but nothing really special in my opinion. As for the fried garlic chicken, the flavor was spot on but the texture was okay- I wish it wasa tad bit crispier since the sauce made the exterior a little soft. Overall, my friend and I had a pleasant experience at Oiistar and we can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu!
I met this restaurant on the 2019, after a long trip for work out of Chicag, it was one of those days that I came back on O'hare and didn't want to go home and cook. Looked for places for lunch and I was craving for ramen, Oiistar popped up on my screen and I decided to go over there. For 6 years this place has been consistent, the food just get better with time and it is amazing. Everytime a friend of mine suggest maybe they don't like ramen, or they know what is a good ramen, I would say immediately: Let me take you to this place and we talk later about a good ramen. Everytime, I order the Bershire pork buns and the oiimen ramen for my friends to try, and they always love how sweet and tender is the meat (you can tell it is berkshire pork for sure), the soup is always on point and the noodled is amazing! The waiter always make sure that we have everything we need and that my friends always have the pleasure to enjoy a good ramen (even in the busiest days they had been really nice). The best thing, they have a patio for summer and music is not too loud, you can easily eat, talk and enjoy with your friends anytime.
Delicious ramen with the most flavorful and rich broth! I always drop by Oiistar when I'm in Chicago because it has never failed me. As someone who lives in Asia, ramen is not new to me. Still, Oiistar takes the cake when it comes to ramen here in the US. I have tried another ramen place in Wicker Park (that already closed) and it cannot compare to the flavors of Oiistar ramen. Servings were generous. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Service was quick and efficient. Overall, I always have a great time in Oiistar.
I called ahead on a Friday night to ask about the wait and the girl on the phone was so sweet. When I got there, the wait was about twenty minutes, which was not bad at all for a packed restaurant. The waiter, however, was not the nicest and the overall vibe from him felt a bit rude, even though he did not explicitly say anything. The food itself was honestly a big disappointment given all the hype. The garlic chicken was decent and surprisingly more flavorful than the ramen. Both ramen dishes lacked depth and flavor. They did have a nice creamy texture and generous portions, but overall there are definitely better ramen spots in the city.
Good ramen at a popular spot! It was packed, but four of us were able to be sat a community style like long table in the back essentially right away. Things worth noting: 1. There weren't purse/coat hooks at the table, but they did have a coat rack to use at the front. 2. I got the #6 Oiimen Classic (Spicy Level 1) and there was no spice at all. I broth was delicious though! I believe the spice level options are 0-3 and I can't speak to how spicy 2 and 3 are. 3. They are able to split your check into a maximum of 4 separate checks but there is an additional $2 charge for each additional card. We just had one person pay and we venmoed them.
A classic ramen spot that hits the spot with zero frills. The garlic ramen was very flavorful but it definitely could use more garlic since it is in the name. The fried chicken was exceptional and unique with its thin but crispy crust. It was doused in a sweet sauce but spicy can be opted for. Highly recommend both when you visit. Great atmosphere to bring a group of friends to socialize over ramen. The servers were attentive even when it was super busy. I'd come back next time I'm in Chicago.
Wonderful time at Oiistar. We were able to sit outside quickly and our waiter came and greeted up promptly. The pork bun is PHENOMENAL. Absolutely worth the hype. The ramen is generous in portions with ample to take home. Wicker park fest was going in the background but still wasn't too loud. We weren't super packed with other tables which made for a comfortable environment. Looking forward to returning.
My mom and I were looking for something reliably delicious and we found it here! Generous helpings for fairly affordable cost for a big city ramen spot (took plenty home for leftovers) - service was attentive and the interior of this place is pretty sleek/modern and appealing.

You know how you have a place that sets the standard for a type of food, and that you use to compare to every food like it? Oiistar is that place for ramen. The oiimen classic is my go to and the crowning glory of ramen for me. First off, the bowl is HUGE and piping hot. There's plenty of ramen noodles, along with veggies and some ground pork. But the real winner is the slabs of pork belly. They have the perfect amount of fat, flavor, and saltiness. The broth? Simply perfect. I dream of this ramen. If you're not very hungry, it definitely is a lot of food and can be shared. I've had the miso ramen, but it was just a bit too salty for me. Looking for an app? Get the mussels, they're delicious! Savory and has that oriental flavor if you ordered from an authentic Chinese seafood restaurant. I come here every single time I'm in Wicker Park, and that's saying a lot. read more
For some reason when there are articles/discussions about the best ramen joints in the city, Oiistar is not mentioned. But Oiistar has the best ramen in the city (at least based on what I have tried and I have tried many) in my humble opinion. Many of these highly ranked ramen places tend to neglect their non-meat ramen, making the vegetarian or seafood ramen very bland and boring when it doesn't have to be at all. What I love about Oiistar is that they put the same amount of effort into their non-meat ramen as they do with their meat ramen and I think that is a truer sign of talent than making the same pork belly ramen taste good. I have had the veggie ramen and the seafood ramen. The veggie ramen has a soothing broth with tofu, mushrooms, avocado, and mixed greens. I love that there are so many noodle options (including a gluten-free noodle option) and you can add kimchi, a soft-boiled egg - which I think has an excellent consistency, and many other options. My favorite is the musclemen which has a spicy, zesty broth that is absolutely delicious. I really like the muscles, onion, chili pepper, scallion, and miso. The flavors just go so well together. I also love the mushroom bun and the pan seared portobello mushroom appetizer. They are pretty much the same thing except one has a bun and one doesn't. The portobello mushrooms in both dishes are sauteed and seasoned so well. I love the soy sauce reduction with the pickled ginger. The bun is made very well. The only weird thing about the regular mushroom appetizer is that there is a poached egg served but it's a cold egg while everything else in the appetizer is hot. I was kind of turned off from the egg. It was just kind of sitting there and wasn't really a part of the appetizer. We also tried the tempura cod and tempura shrimp buns. The mushroom one is better in my opinion because the sauces are better. The fish and shrimp buns were still good but I really wasn't into the mayo. The tempura cod is supposed to have a thai chili mayo and the tempura shrimp is supposed to have a wasabi mayo and they just ended up tasting more like mayo rather than wasabi or thai chili. The slaw and roasted sesame seed that came with both buns were very good though. I really do like the fusion of French/European elements with Japanese cuisine here and find this to be a unique spot. I like the sauces on the table and the nice big spoons. Portions are large so you can easily split a bowl of ramen with someone and still have leftovers. I love the decor of this place, how it's narrow, kind of dark, and modern. They also have a lovely outdoor patio. Service is okay, sometimes it's better than other times. The drink selection is decent and the wine is very reasonably priced. read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZINGG!!! I went here in early February and forgot to write a review. I came here on a date, and I have heard of the place but never really thought about going there. We roll into the joint and it's super slammed but we end up getting sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing and was just the right amount of attentive as well. My date order the ramen and the portion was freaking huge, I had a bite of it and it was so delicious. But me being me I looked for anything but ramen...and I found exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting their version of jajangmeyon and it was honestly amazing, it definitely wasn't authentic and was their own twist but it was so good I ain't even mad. The portion was huge as well for the price. Awesome place that's super trendy, super delicious food, and great service. Sadly I don't live in the area but I will be visiting again. read more

Ramen was awesome and pork belly in the ramen tasted like Chinese braised pork! The pork was really tender and juicy. The portion size was huge!!! Got the pork belly bun, Spicy garlic, and Oiistar ramen! Pricing was $14.5 for one ramen and $4 for pork belly bun. Parking: Street parking but free parking about 5blocks or so if you can find one. Service: was great! I asked for lemons and they gave me tons and manager(owner) came and asked if everything was good! Wait time for not bad. read more
Came here with as a group of 6 on a weeknight and it was about a 15 minute wait. The ramen bowls here are definitely hugeeee. I loved the garlic chicken sambaal which I would come back for just for that. It was so good and full of flavor. My ramen itself wasn't too memorable and I thought the broth itself was salty af. But the appetizers are definitely worth coming for. They were able to split 6 credit cards on one bill which was nice as well. read more
Oiistar is one of those places that is consistently good time and time again. The staff there is friendly and service is timely. My favorites here include: 1) Fried Garlic Chicken. It's served with a sweet & spicy sauce. The chicken is crispy and flavorful and pairs together well with the sauce. 2) Goki Buns. These have bbq beef, lettuce, onion, cilantro and sriracha. Super tasty and a great way to start the meal. 3) Oiimen ramen. It comes with pork belly, mushrooms, egg, scallions and spicy oil and garlic. If you like an extra kick, they are happy to provide a spicy paste on the side. I would advise ordering a few things and sharing so you can try a little bit of everything. Overall, great place and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

Love the ramen here! Not too salty with delicious flavorful pork belly. The buns here are also good, I would highly recommend trying the 6 Hrs Pork Shoulder bun. They also have patio seating, great for date nights or sitting out with friends on a nice day. read more

Oistar is my personal favorite go-to Ramen place. They have bery large portions for the price and there's a wide variety of options on the menu. I've tried the Oiiman Classic, Spicy Garlic and Umami ramen options and they are all amazing. The broth is very rich and savory with a solid kick to it. There's always a generous amount of meat with your ramen, which is definitely one of this place's selling points, and your standard ramen toppings like egg, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, etc. Pretty nice venue too that mixes modern, hip and traditional decor. Expect heavy wait times for dinner during the weekends, but that's definitely a testament to the quality of this place read more

Some of the best pork belly I've ever had in my life! I took my best friend to oiistar for her birthday and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We got here around 6:10 on a Friday evening and I was afraid we'd have to wait but the restaurant was only about half full and we were able to be seated immediately. I got the umami, my friend got the spicy garlic ramen, and we ordered a side of garlic baguette. The ramen arrived really quickly - I want to say in less than five minutes and besides tsurutontan in New York, it was definitively the biggest bowl of noodles I've ever had in my life. The umami broth was super strong, slightly sweet, but the pork belly was really the winner of the night. The pieces fell apart effortlessly and the fat melted into my mouth. Be aware of the law of diminishing returns. In hindsight, I could've shared a bowl with my friend, and maybe gotten a bun each. While the first half of the bowl was a miraculous experience, the second half was slowly painful. I ended up having a huge stomach ache from being too zealous about my bowl of ramen, so be mindful about the portion sizes. Other than that, I'm so glad I got to experience oiistar. I personally gave a thumbs up to the chef and furious spoon is nothing compared to oiistar. read more
Came in with a group of 3 other friends on a Friday night around 6pm, the restaurant was pretty empty and even had outdoor seating (one of the main reasons we chose this place). The service was quick and the ramen came out in under 10 minutes within placing our orders! I got the Umami bowl and it was delicious and really generously portioned! The soup spoons they give you are huge and really help you enjoy a lot of the tasty broth the ramen comes in! I The pork belly that came with it was a great cut and less fatty than other ramen places I've been to. The ramen is DEFINITELY worth the money! One thing to note would be that the outdoor seating area is literally on the sidewalk, so a little bit awkward when people super close to you in passing during your meal. read more

If you're in Chicago and you love ramen, definitely try this place out. The service was amazing and they also pay specific attention to any food allergies you may have. The ramen was very flavorful and umami. Ambiance gives off a darker vibe, but very homey. read more

Food (4/5): Any time I am *starving* for ramen, I come to Oiistar. For a similar price, the quantity of noodles in each bowl is considerably more than other ramen joints in Chicago. Additionally, the taste is pretty good as well. I usually am a toss-up between the Umami (slightly spicy) and the Classic, but both have had a perfectly gooey egg and just the right amount of chewiness in the noodle. The broth is also a good amount of creaminess (not to the point of being too heavy, yet not too watery). The only thing that is a big toss-up for me is the pork chashu. At times, the meat can be a bit tough to chew, but other times the fattier portions are melt-in-your-mouth. However, I will give kudos to Oiistar for the immense amount of customization it allows its patrons and the delicious buns they serve. I really enjoy choosing between thin or curvy / wavy noodles! If you think you'll be able to fit in more food (or are sharing with a larger party!), I highly recommend splitting a few of the buns - one of my favorites is the duck bun. Now, I'm just waiting for when I go with more people so we can try / share the fried garlic chicken! Service (4/5): Staff is relatively attentive, though I will say they won't ask if you desire any customizations to your ramen so this is a more proactive effort on the customer's end. Atmosphere (5/5): Oiistar is tucked away in the cute Wicker Park neighborhood. The restaurant itself is narrow in its shape, but there is plenty of table and bar seating. If you come with a larger party (6+), your best bet is to call ahead for reservations because this place can get busy. Otherwise, the only seating that can really accommodate a large party is the end of the bar. As for smaller parties (2-4), then you can get away without the reservation especially if you go at off-hours. read more

The food was good. One of the better ramen restaurant. Tate's more authentic than the other places. It's also large portions. We bought two different ramen and it was plenty, we had leftover from both. Also we tried the duck buns and they were really delicious and the whole mean was packed with flavors. Also for the price it was very worth it and it's a cute place with plenty of street parking read more
On a quest to find my go-to ramen spots in Chicago, I'm happy to report that Oiistar has made the cutoff. Two thumbs up for the ramen here: flavorful, fatty, LARGE portions, pork belly that melts in your mouth. I got the spicy garlic shoyu ramen ($14) while my friend got the Oiimen classic ($14). Both were excellent. The broth was fatty and rich, and the pork (tasted like it was glazed) was one of the best I've had in awhile. Plus, it comes with 2 large pieces of pork and they ain't skimping out! The portions here are noticeably larger than other ramen joints around the city - not that I'm complaining. Slight complaint on the soft-boiled egg because it was too runny and wasn't marinaded like ramen eggs are supposed to be. After sitting at the bar, I realized their veggie ramen was very popular. So if that's your thing, go for it. read more

If your girlfriend is cranky, bring her here. The oilmen classic is my best friend. The broth and pork belly are things I dream about in my sleep. P.S. They have rice noodles and gluten free broth for celiacs. Some places in Chicago have gluten free choices but they are not celiac friendly. Trust me I've embarrassingly called and looked into every ramen place in a 30 mile radius. read more

I was pleasantly surprised, not that I was expecting bad things. It was just better than I expected. And what else is pretty cool is that they also have a patio if you want to sit outside. I wasn't really in the mood for ramen, but I was going to hang out with some friends and we were a big-ish group. I'm told their baos/buns are good, but I didn't try one. They looked good. It was well made (like the giant piece of pork belly on the pork belly bao). Food: Duxelles - delicious, i love the avocado puree underneath, the presentation could use some work (reminded of a sushi roll douse with zigzags of spicy mayo). There's lots of pork (it's like a pulled pork consistency. I wish I could've tasted more of the wild mushroom. Oiistar Classic - it was delicious. hunks of cooked pork belly can be found in the ramen buried but so good and so full of flavor and well-cooked. Good little kick. Instead of sriracha, I wished they had togaroshi spice. There was entirely too much green stuff (personally, I'm not a big fan, but will usually deal, but this was an enormous amount). TLDR: great spot to grab a bowl of ramen read more

On one of the many recent cold as we don't know what Chicago evenings, a friend and I decided to get some ramen after work. He suggested Oiistar because he had just been there over the weekend and LOVED it. Hey, I'm easy going so I said cool. We got there at the perfect time, around 5:30pm or so, because it was pretty empty. Cool little set up in the restaurant which makes it so hip and cute. You definitely want to hang your coat on their coat rack because there's no way you can have that and anything space consuming at your table. They're small tables, but I didn't mind. Our waiter was prompt, super cool and talkative, and very knowledgeable and suggestive about the menu. Loved it. So far, I was digging Oiistar and told my friend I see why he wanted to return. We both ordered a Sapporo and their beer prices are very reasonable. I was previously cautioned about their portion sizes being large so we only ordered two buns to start: the pork belly and the duck breast. My goodness. I could only eat half of the pork belly bun since I wanted to ensure I had room for my ramen. We both ordered the Oiimen but my friend added the spicy paste. Wow!!!! The ramen was soooooo good. Like soooo good. I could barely finish it because they give you so much. So yes, I had a take home bag. I will definitely return to Oiistar. Love this place and it's definitely one of my favorites in Chicago. The atmosphere is hip and cool, the waitstaff is great, the food is amazing. read more

The ramen here is no joke and all the articles naming Oiistar as one of the best places in the city to get ramen are totally accurate. The pricing for the huge portions is on point. I ordered the deliciously spicy Chadolmen ramen. The addition of kimchi adds crunch and freshness to the bowl. So damn goooood. I had to take some home cuz I couldn't finish it read more

Oh yea! So we came here on a Saturday at 8pm and I assumed there would be a long wait. NOPE. It took about 15 minutes to wait for a table so score 1! We decided to order up a storm, we did NOT know how large the ramen bowls were. Atmosphere: It's a cozy little environment. Dimly lit. Not pretentious at all but still a cool vibe. There is no host stand so you might walk in and think, oh its like an IHOP I will seat myself but someone with an iPad will come greet you! Apps: We got the Pork Belly Bun, SUPER good, it was two of us and we split it in half. Then we got the Fried Garlic Chicken. Warning on this it is a LARGE portion. I would be careful getting this because it could be an entree. However the flavors were solid and good, it was NOT spicy. Please don't believe that. Ramen: Okay, now for what you really care about. First, the portion sizes, don't worry they don't skimp here. In fact, the bowls seem larger than most ramen places I have visited so kudos to these guys (or gals). The Ramen was very good and flavorful. The Oiimen ramen was great. My only criticism was that it wasn't actually spicy. The menu and our waiter said they were spicy and the first sip I thought, nope not even sort of spicy. I added some of the chili paste and it was a beautiful flavor of spice but I wanted more umph! Overall a SOLID ramen spot in Chicago! I will be back here for sure. They also serve Golden Monkey which if you love beer, you know its legit! read more
Having tried most of the ramen joints in the city, this one is near the top. The broth is fatty with loads of flavor. The ambience is mild (unlike Furious Spoon who pumps their music too loud). I've had the Modern ramen and Spicy Garlic ramen. I can, without hesitation, recommend both. The spice level in the garlic ramen is excellent-slow burn. I'd give it a spice level of 6 out of 10. My nose ran the whole time which is the way it should be. I've also sampled the Classic bowl which is good. I've had a few of their buns, also tasty. I love ramen but this place never excites me, hence the 4 star rating. Will I go back? Sure. However, I haven't settled on this joint as "my ramen spot" so-to-speak. read more

Second time trying Oiistar after a pretty underwhelming experience a couple of years ago. I haven't yet made the Ramen rounds after moving back from Sydney so this review is based upon the incredible bowls of liquid gold we were able to sample for two years in the asian food mecca. Ramen for me is all about the experience. I like to read about the types of broths and how long they've been cooking and I want to be able to tell my server the way I want my noodles done (medium) .......So for me, Oiistar was just okay, We ordered the Classic as it had the fatty pork but also ground and came topped with bamboo shoots, mushrooms, runny egg etc. We picked the Classic because it said it would be spicy with the chilli oil, but it was not. From the broths i've tasted, this porky juice didn't have the richness I usually crave and sat a little watery for me. The noodles were also fairly soft as i prefer a little bite. Although the broth lacked flavor - the pork was incredible! These guys know what they are doing when cooking their meat.. a really smoky hint with chunks of fat throughout. The portion was enough for the both of us too. Wished that they had normal size spoons instead of those heavy ladles. Staff: quick, attentive with drinks! read more

Came into Oiistar on Friday night (10/21) with my boyfriend. We arrived a little after the dinner hour and as expected it was packed! We came in and put our names in for a table/bar for 2 and we were told the wait would be about 15-30 minutes. My boyfriend and I waited for about a half hour (outside and it was cold!). Oiistar has little to no room for waiting, most especially when the place is packed. After waiting outside you better believe we were ready to order some Ramen! We were seated at the bar and were excited to finally have menus in front of us! It was my boyfriend's first time and I've been coming around since Oiistar opened shop! One thing that I have always loved about Oiistar is the fact that they cater to my Diet Restrictions, I'm Vegetarian. My boyfriend and I started the night with the Portobello & Avocado Tempura. I was shocked when this dish was brought out to us, it was huge and I definitely remember it used to be smaller but I'm not complaining! I highly recommend ordering this appetizer for sharing or you'll never have enough room for Ramen! I always order the Spicey Veggimen and my boyfriend had the Umami Ramen. One thing that separates Oiistar from all the rest, in my opinion, they pack these bowls full of flavor and the ratio of noodles and ingredients is perfect! You don't need to add anything more, but you are always welcome to! The cooks don't skimp on anything, if you're worried about portions prepare to leave with leftovers! Our ramen was great, it was definitely worth the wait! I'm taking 1 star off my almost perfect review after the service that night. I understand the place was packed and I'm ok with that, I'm a patient patron! Friday's experience was almost perfect, my only complaint about the service was that our Server/Bartender completely disappeared towards the end of our night for close to a half hour or so! We could've used a little attention, I even expected the other patrons beside us felt the same way! It took a while for the staff to realize we were kind of neglected... We sat around for a while before another staff member came by to check on us. To say the least, we had to wait even longer to pay our check, we had to feed the parking meter while we waited. I still recommend checking out Oiistar if you haven't, the food is great! read more
