If you're looking for a chill place to eat and drink with a group of friends later in the evening, this is the place! This was my first time here and I was surprised by the variety of Korean dishes offered here. Since it was just my boyfriend and I, we had to resist the urge to over order, so we got cheese tteokbokki, garlic soy wings, and the army soup to share. The wings were yummy and crispy, but the tteokbokki could use more fish cake. The army soup was huge for the two of us, so def a bang for your buck but we also thought it would have been nice if there was fish cake in that for more variety. Pretty much a lot of the items are shareable so good for groups! It can get pretty loud in there though. There's a call button for service, which makes it really efficient!
My friends and I are always on the hunt for vibey korean places and Ohn is exactly that. The drinks are yummy, we tried some of the soju cocktails and they run a happy hour pricing for it even on weekends. The service was fast and everyone was kind. I liked the setup in the restaurant and the music wasn't too loud. I got the seafood noodles and they were perfect with some drinks.
I would definitely come back here. It's a little on the pricier side for Chinatown, like the kream spaghetti dish I got was $18, but it's definitely worth it if you're doing family style and sharing a bunch of things. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were pretty fair. We also had fun ordering the liter drinks of soju. The service was also super efficient and fast. Some places I've been to, they don't come very quickly when you press the call button, but they were so quick with it at this restaurant. I also really liked how secluded and private the ambiance once because it was booths that were cornered off from other booths, so it felt like we had a private room for ourselves. The only thing that I'd have to call out is we went for a birthday and they wanted to charge us $10 to cut the cake that we brought ourselves, so we didn't end up cutting it there.
Ohn is a cool, casual late-night spot that serves the classic Korean street foods. All of their dishes are shareable between guests as their portions are generous and the flavors are jam-packed! The vibes of the restaurant make you feel like you're literally in a middle of a food market at night. I agree with the other previous reviews that say their service is pretty slow. However, I would still come back to try other menu items because it all looks very good!
When the clock stroke at 12 midnight, I got anxious to get out of house. I pulled out my phone and opened Yelp app to search for a restaurant to stuff my face. So, which restaurant in Chinatown that I haven't been to? Oh. Right. Ohn Korean Eatery has been on my bookmark for quite awhile. I always thought this parking lot at Yun-Lu Center is always full for some reason. But not today. I didn't study the menu before I came. So, I picked few reviews from my Yelp friends. Victoria was praising about the Army Soup. I asked the waiter. He recommended Brisket Raymeon because it has similar ingredients minus spam. It came pretty quick. I was little disappointed about the noodles. It's just an instant noodle from package. But that humongous chunks of smoked brisket blew my mind. The service was so-so. I felt rushed as I took my time relaxing after eating. I know the kitchen closes at 1 am. I didn't need anything anyway. The waiter didn't me bancha until I asked. Overall, I like the kpop music and the cozy atmosphere. I think I'll be back to try other dishes that people have been bragging about.
Another good Korean restaurant, great service, good vibe and tasty food, wings are delicious!!!!! Brisket was ok. But in overall a great place to visit and get some drinks, definitely worth it:)
It's a cute, hip place. Very Korean street inspired. It's loud so beware if you're trying to have a quiet convo. Plenty of tvs with K Pop videos. Large alcoholic menu. The cocktails were unique and tasty. The admiral drink was great and full of coconut flavor, but they have a a lot of drinks and happy hour specials. Go here's thirsty! The bulgogi was good. The apps were good. Cute booths. Fast service. It's a cute spot to hang out with friends.
After they reopened this summer, we went back and tried a few times some of our favourite items at Ohn, and was left disappointed. The price increased due to inflation, but the quality dropped significantly. The cheese corn doesn't come with katsuobushi anymore, and if you ask for it to be spicy they just give the chilli powder on the side instead of sprinkling on it. The size of the cast iron skillet the corn comes in has reduced in size as well. The brisket platter, pork belly, and seafood spaghetti would have tasted better if they didn't serve them lukewarm, which then proceeded to get cold in a minute or two. The soju cocktail carafes were heavily watered down with lots of ice and smaller carafe sizes as well. The late night latte wasn't stirred well and the milk sediments in the drink left an unpleasant texture on the tongue, and again, the quantity seemed to have been cut down by half. Very disappointing!
This is a restaurant for late night vibes and drinking and unfortunately, the food was just not good. I got the squid bibimbap, and it was not like bibimbap at all. The only banchan that came on the side was kimchi, which was disappointing. I thought there would be some other varieties like potato or fishcake but there was only one. The bibimbap was so salty because it was just dowsed in gochujang sauce. It was so hard to find rice that was white because all the rice was just covered in the gochujang sauce, and it was so salty. It was difficult to eat so I brought it home and I added rice to it. The service was OK and I tried some other dishes like the wings and fries and they were OK as well. The food I ordered just wasn't good.

Portions are VERY SMALL for the price. *Dosirak: this was my favorite and it had a nice flavor. *Belly dolsak bibimbap: this was flooding in kimchi & gochujang . I couldn't find a white grain of rice after mixing it together and it barely had any meat. I usually love bibimbap but this one was very hard to enjoy. *cheese tteokbokki: The rice cakes were soft but by the time we got to eat it our mouths were on fire just from the bibimbap. *peach & rice drink: they were given in TINY little cans... Menu say their food is served w/banchan but they didn't give it to us until we asked & when we got them it was sad looking. We got 5 pieces of cucumber, a tiny portion of kimchi, & 5 pieces of pickled radish.
Good food and drinks! I tried the kimchi fried rice, the cheese corn and the melona makgeolli. I would recommend getting the cheese corn with something else (I ate it with the kimchi fried rice) because it is super cheesy and really good. The wait was one hour for a party of 9 and they asked if we could squeeze into a booth or if we could wait for a bit longer so we sat in the booth. The workers were super nice and would give us more water with out us having to ask. They would also ask us if we wanted to order more drinks often!
Ohn has been closed temporarily for a little while now, but we're all hoping it will come back. It's one of the few innovative late night options around Houston. Most good food in Houston is not late night. I will update this review as soon as it is back open again, so watch this space. We'll start with a rap, though. And this one is very good, indeed. And nice and cheap! I have friends in the family that own... or should I say Ohn... a lot of businesses that are back here on Clarewood and Corporate close to the heart of Chinatown, and also in Dun Huang Plaza, and some of the businesses are a massive hit with me, for example I like Mein Restaurant, and Tea Top for Boba is a true amazing winner, both in Chinatown and Katy. I'm less crazy about Aqua S and Tiger Den, and Night Market Thai is probably my least favourite spot around when it comes to Thai food. But if we're talking about Korean food, then Houston does have some great options, and for me this restaurant, while not quite at the level of those great options, is also not bad. It's a good location for hanging out late night and drinking, and it has wonderful decor definitely. Some of the employees are super friendly, and it definitely has a sexy late-night Korean bar Vibe, which is very important to some people. For food alone I would give it three stars and for prices the same. But the decor is so imaginative and well-done and the place is open very late, and it has a lot of good things going for it. For these reasons, I pump it up to 4 stars, not to mention I the ownership family, especially the ones that I know. And although the whole corporate expansion thing doesn't appeal to me (no pun intended since this is down Corporate Drive), I do think some of the businesses are good, such as Ohn Korean, and I wish the family very well. And I was going to be a Korea politician until I realized that I'm not Korean.

Came here on a Friday night and didn't have to wait! The drink menu had many options with different fruit sojus, mixed cocktails, makgeolli (rice wine), and even liquor bottles for sale For food we had: Kream spaghetti: 4.5/5 the sauce was really creamy and flavorful but not too heavy. Came with 2 mussels, squid, and 2 large shrimp Soy garlic wings: 4/5 not my favorite kfc in Houston but def one of the better ones! I would have liked a little more sauce/flavor Sweet pork: 3.5/5 fatty, sweet with some crisp. Paired really well with their kimchi Cheese corn: 3/5 not one of my favorite cheese corns. The corn wasn't very sweet and the cheese was half melted and half coagulated. I like the one at Lim's a lot more This was ordered for 2 ppl and the portions were a lot larger than we expected! We actually ended up taking half of it home. We also really enjoyed the kimchi side dish the food came with and how you just press a button when you need something from the servers. Food is good, staff really friendly and attentive, they literally checked up on us every 5 minutes. The thing is food way too expensive than it actually cost. I was about to order galbi, it was $22 before they reopen and come with 2-3 slices of short ribs, now it went up to $30. I would rather use that $30 for an AYCE kbbq. Also the bulgogi but it wasn't that bad, $18. I asked for more bonchon and they said it will be $4 for 3 bonchon, like for real? Everywhere I've been they give bonchon for free and this place cost more than $1 for a plate of bonchon that probably have like 5-6 radish cubes or kimchi. read more

Ohn is a trendy modern Korean restaurant. It's in the plaza along with Night Market and Mein. Private cubicle style picnic tables. There is also a service call button for when you need help the servers do come by and occasionally check on you. Came here with a party of 5 and ordered 6 dishes ANJU (SNACKS) (3/5): CORN CHEESE: I've mainly seen this appetizer offered at Korean places that have fried chicken. Pretty standard. We opted to make it spicy. They sprinkled a chili powder on top but it was pretty mild. No real heat. (2/5): CHEESE TTEOKBOKKI: The fried dumplings on top were stale and not hot. Overall was unimpressed. For the size it is not worth the price. It's definitely a filler that I would skip. DAK (CHICKEN) (3/5): GARLIC SOY WINGS: I believe there are 6-7 pieces. I've heard people rave about their wings so I think I hyped it up on my head. (4/5): YANGNYEOM CHICKEN: The sweet sauce was delicious. Definitely a sharing dish. Each person got maybe 2 pieces. TANG (SOUP) (1/5): FISHCAKE SOUP: Originally wanted the mussel soup or something seafood based but they ran out of it. Add tofu to the soup. It was just bland. This is a dish that is not hard to make at home. MYEON (NOODLE) (5/5): KREAM SPAGHETTI: All time favorite dish I've had at Ohn. Every time I come it's an entree that is always ordered. It has shrimp, squid, and mussels. The cream sauce is a little sweet. I would come to Ohn just for this dish. We also ordered 3 bottles of soju (GRAPEFRUIT, GREEN GRAPE, PEACH). Out of those, the green grape was my favorite. We also had the CARAFE SOJU (WATERMELON). Overall not my first place to get Korean food but it is a fun place to go with friends. The outside of the restaurant is a sleek facade with a minimalist door. Look for the red wooden handle or you might miss the entrance. My friends were already seated when I arrived so I met them at their booth. It was a bit cozy but the best table they had available without making us wait. The space was separated by a moveable wooden divider which seemed slightly treacherous. Service was friendly and attentive especially because of the call button at our table. We had the mojito lime soup (dangerously no taste of alcohol), cheese corn, garlic soy wings, Kimchi fried rice, and kream pasta. All of these were savory and flavorful; I would recommend all dishes. We also noticed lots of other tables with a hefty bowl of army soup. The menu is not extensive but they have an excellent selection of modern and innovative takes on Korean cuisine. read more

Houston, we have a problem. This place is too good! Ambience- This place is tucked away in the midst of a plaza with a big wooden door that is easy to miss but thank goodness we found it. There is dim lighting inside which adds to the mellow ambience. The architecture inside is very cool and it would be a great place for a date or even a birthday party. Service- Service was great. They have a call button next to your table that you push when you're ready to order or if you need your waiter for anything. FOOD- Okay so yelp has never let me down and that stays true at this restaurant too. I would recommend to order a couple of dishes so you can share and try everything because that is the best way to do it. Here is what we ordered: 1) Yang wings- I know the garlic soy seemed like a popular choice but if you're looking for something saucier with a sweet and spicy sort of kick then get these! They were super delicious. 2) Kimchi fried rice- omg please get this! It comes with an over easy egg on top. The rice is super flavorful with all these kimchi spices and a must try. 3) Kreamy Spaghetti- This spaghetti is on the heavier side so I would recommend sharing it for sure. It comes FILLED with seafood- octopus, mussels, shrimp and the sauce lives up to its name- KREAMY. 4) Shortrib Galbi- This was my least favorite dish. It wasn't bad but there was something I didn't jive with in the marinade. The beef, however was cooked well and the level of sauce was perfect but again there was something off with the flavor for me. I wouldn't get this again. I would like to add that this was A TON of food for two people so if you order as much as we did then be prepared for lots of leftovers. So happy I finally got to try Ohn! We ordered a whole bunch of food and we were definitely full by the end of our meal (we definitely had leftovers)! We went on a Thursday night around 9:30 PMish and we didn't have to wait for a table. What attracted me the most was that each party is separated from each other. There were definitely people dining there but this place gives a lot of privacy which I enjoy. The server gave us menus and told us that whenever we needed him to press the button to get his attention. What I didn't know was that he's able to hear whenever we press the button but the red light went away each time I pressed it (I pressed it 3x) and he came by and said he heard it the first time lol, oops! Here's the breakdown of our food: Watermelon Sojumelon Keg $28 (4/5): There was only 2 of us and there was NO way that we were able to finish all of it. It's really strong and I wished that we asked for the bottle of Sake so that we could pour it in ourselves or at least ask for it to be less alcohol-y. It's such a cool concept but the price is really expensive. Definitely worth a try if it's your first time and if you're not willing to fork over the money for it, you can order a bottle of it for much cheaper! It just won't come in a cute watermelon dispenser that's all. Corn Cheese $6.50 (3/5): I've only had this dish from Lim's Chicken and I LOVE their corn cheese. We didn't like this dish too much. The cheese is salty and we regretted ordering this. If you haven't been to Lim's to try their version, it wouldn't hurt to try it here because you wouldn't have anything to compare it to but I wouldn't order this again personally. Flat Dumplings $7.50 (5/5): We asked for it to be extra crispy and it came out exactly how we requested it! It was so yummy and we might get 2 orders next time! It doesn't have a strong chive/onion taste to it either. Soy Rice Cake $9 (5/5): GET THIS. YOU WON'T REGRET IT! I love how chewy it is and the consistency. Great flavor and not too strong. Garlic Soy Wings $8.50 (5/5): Another amazing dish! Kream Spaghetti $16 (4/5): Seafood dish so if you're allergic/don't like seafood, don't order this! It's really good but kinda pricey. Overall, we had a great first experience and we are excited to come back again. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. We just wished that we could've somehow brought home the soju with us but of course we weren't allowed to. We will be back! read more

This place makes me reminisce my study aboard days in Korea. It's has all the food essentials of Korean HOF and more. The food was great and very flavorful. The interior represents classic Korean bars with wooden furniture with dim lighting and sectioned off seating. Feels very authentic! We ordered the corn cheese, garlic soy wings, short rib soup, dubu kimchi, soy rice cakes, yang Yeon belly, jeyuk bokkeom, and dosirak. My first night of arrival to Houston and after getting into hotel, it was already past 10:30pm. No worries, I had done my homework and knew what I wanted to have for dinner. Arrived at this restaurant around 11 pm. The staff was very friendly and asked if I had been there before. Then gave me some quick instructions on what to do. I ordered the Seoul Mule thinking the lychee would be just a flavoring agent, but it was a real lychee (albeit from a can). The ginger beer was prominent and overpowered the vodka and soju - a dangerous thing as it tasted great. I wanted Kimchi Fried Rice initially, but I could get that from almost any Korean restaurant. I decided to go with Dosirak... kimchi, spam, poached egg, seaweed and anchovy? Just take my money now! The Dosirak came in like a metal lunch box. I liked it a lot as I was feeling nostalgic and old-school. The 3 side dishes were pretty good too. Spicy, but not overboard. Then the Corn Cheese made a late entrance in a skillet. The Mozzarella cheese melted and covered the corn with bonito flakes. Wow, this dish was fantastic. Half way through the dish and I was feeling full. For an instant, I thought I should get a doggy bag and bring it back. Nah! I powered through and emptied the skillet. There was no excuse for me to waste even a bite of such a delight. lol Although I was hungry, this meal completely satisfied me and exceeded my expectations. Mediocre Korean Bar food. Came here on a Saturday night with friends and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. We ordered a number of dishes to share: 1) Corn Cheese ($6.50) 2) Yangnyeom Belly ($13.00) 3) Kimchi Fried Rice ($10.50) 4) Army Soup ($23.00) The only dish I liked was the Corn Cheese. Everything else tasted alright. The Yangnyeom Belly actually had a weird aftertaste to it that none of us could pinpoint. We definitely would not recommend this dish. Service was okay, our servers weren't very attentive and kept forgetting basic things like our plates and utensils. At least they were nice. Don't think I would recommend this place to a friend. read more
Second one here. It's a pretty neat place in regards to set up and ambiance. They try to make it feel like a street market and have neon lights. You push a button at or table o get service which is interesting too. The food is pretty good in my opinion. It's a combination of classics and fusion. I got the short rib soup which is my favorite here. Also got the cheese tobokki, garlic wings, pork rinds, and the galbi. Galbi was above average to me. It's not like an AYCE place where they cook it ifront of you so if you're looking for that then this isn't that kind of place. The cheese tobokki was a nice twist on a classic. They also serve makkoli which I really like. So you can have a good time with a date or with a group of friends. It is on the pricier side for some of these dishes, so that likely will come into consideration for on how frequently I'd go. Overall, I'm a fan. Definitely worth a try! read more

Setup: new eats The better: properly cooked rice cakes! Nice and crispy pork rinds, sauce for the spaghetti was a nice creamy consistency without being overpowering, KFC glaze was sweet, sticky, and spicy, while leaving enough crunch. Cheese corn! Nice underground atmosphere, clean bathrooms. The lesser: almost all the soju and cocktails lean quite sweet, but they will probably expand the beverage program. Need seating for waiting outside, need to figure out the bench partition situation a little better to accommodate the max number of tables. There are no individual chairs, so if you don't fit into a bench, you'll need to wait for a larger table. Observations: just opened, so doing quite well. Some of the staff seemed a little overwhelmed, which should get better when they find their groove. Another tasty addition to this mini empire in the strip! read more

Omg this place really hit the spot when we were craving Korean wings bad. It's in new plaza along with Thai food market. The plaza parking is quite limited so you might have to park by the street. The atmosphere in the the restaurant is dark and loud. Which is fine for me but might not be for little kids. We ordered both of their wings and their kimchi fried rice. And also strawberry soju. The food came out quickly and you can always buzz them to come by to order or if you needed anything. The wings are perfectly battered and sauced. I liked both and I like that daicon that came with it. The kimchi fried rice is a little gooey for my own preference but korean so prefer cheesy stickier textures. Overall we would come back if we are ever craving korean fried chicken. read more

Food is great but not as tasty as it was pre covid. We got the bulgogi fries, short rib soup, and squid bokkeum. The squid was the tastiest thing we had! And the portion size is very generous. My friend said her soup was kind of bland even with the sauce that they gave her to mix in it. The soup also had a very large amount of green onions on top. The bulgogi fries were tasty but the actual bulgogi tasted kind of like plain ground beef lol but I liked the sauce that they drizzled on there. We also got the yogurt soju carafe which I feel is a bit overpriced but hey I'm never one to turn down soju lol. It was tasty! Service was great, food was hot, and it's a nice gem in Chinatown/bellaire area. read more
I came with a couple friends on a Sunday night, which thankfully wasn't too crowded (although there was a short wait still). Although it's not that big of a restaurant, the wooden dividers sectioning off each table make it seem bigger and gives each table a little more "privacy," if that's possible in a nightclub-themed restaurant. I liked how we could call our waiter with the push of a button. We ordered the spaghetti kream pasta, yangnyeom belly (pork belly), and kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the pasta - it was so creamy and savory. It came with two mussels, a few shrimp, and a heap of squid. The yangnyeom belly was tasty but not anything special; I'm not sure if I'd get it again. The "poached egg" on the kimchi fried rice was more like over-hard :( but the dish tasted good regardless. Overall, my friends and I had a good experience here and we enjoyed the food (and the complimentary side dishes that came with them!). I'll be back to try the corn cheese and the ramen because I've heard great things about both. (I've been warned to avoid the BBQ though.) read more
I've been to Ohn several times and have decided to do a Yelp review. I unfortunately didn't have a chance to snap a picture of any drinks, however, I highly recommend coming for their happy hour on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays as they take $5 off their carafe soju! There's a large variety and it's been fun trying to taste them all. I must say it's hard to get drunk off of them-- but hey! It's only soju. Corn cheese: I've had this dish many times, however, I can't say I'm very impressed. As a corn lover, I think this dish was underwhelming. All of my friends love it-- gotta try it once! Gyoza: this gyoza is extremely crispy with a rather small portion of meat. If you like a crispy, crunchy gyoza, this is the one for you. It's paired with a ponzu like dip and is very nice. Soy Garlic Wings: my favorite dish that I always get. It's definitely something I recommend for EVERYONE to try. Extremely addicting. Pork Belly: this pork belly is VERY good. It's lathered in a sweet and tangy sauce that pairs very well. I have included a picture of how thick the pork actually is. It's a great bite and goes well with steamed rice. Kimchi Fried Rice: very good! I've gotten kimchi fried rice at other places before, however this one is different! The kimchi flavoring isn't too overpowering and the rice portion is very generous. I recommend this dish if you're sharing with someone and if not, just take it home for later! I didn't get a chance to ask my servers for their name, but the service system here is on demand as you press a button in your booth that you're in need of something. I was greeted by Vivian, the hostess, and she was very kind and polite. She even greeted me very kindly when she called to let me know my table was ready. Will be back. Cheers! read more

Our waitress was great, frequently checking on us, we were seated in a reasonable time, it gets super busy so for bigger groups I'm guessing it's better to get there a bit earlier. We had a great time and the food was good. read more

Best feature of this place is the call button. Never again will I will have to wait to try to get my waiters attention. This should be standard across all restaurants. I alsMy friends and I ordered 3 times including the cream corn, garlic soy wings, and then the Kream spaghetti. The cream corn was by far my favorite dish. It was so cheesy and so delicious.. Wow! I will be back next time for sure when I am visiting the Houston area. read more
Came here with some friends for Saturday dinner. The place was really packed and we had to wait around 30-40 min to be seated. I've been to ohn a couple of times and I've always been impressed by the food. I really love the cucumbers that they give you and the prices are pretty fair. I also really like the drinks, but they aren't too strong. Overall it's a solid place for food and drinks and the atmosphere is really fun. The location is also great with so many tasty places in the same plaza. read more

Some of the best Korean food you can find in Houston. I am visiting from California so most the Korean food here is not up to my standards but this place is legit! This was my second time here (first time I only came for drinks) but first time trying their food. My favorite out of everything was the spaghetti! It was so good that my friends and I ordered a second one. It was creamy and tasty, had a bit of Kim chi seasoning to it. We tried both wings flavor. Every time I go eat Korean, my go to is always soy garlic and here, it did not disappoint. However, the yangnyeom was a bit too sweet and not spicy at all. Same thing with the pork belly, way too much sweet sauce on it. I'll have to pass on those two next time. Galbi was perfectly seasoned and tender. Everything here is shareable. Thanks to Night Market opening close by, the Friday night line at Ohn migrated to newer things and I finally stopped by this fun Korean eatery with zero wait time. Everything we ordered was pretty delicious: - Garlic Soy Wings: fantastic soy flavor with the right amount of garlic and crisp - Corn Cheese: cheeeeeesy and I love cheese so I love this. - Dosirak: clever rice dish that they serve deconstructed in a tin box. You're supposed to shake the heck out of the box, keeping the lid on tight. You're left with an eggy, spammy, kim chi mixed rice dish that we devoured pretty quickly - Yangnyeum Belly: I was expecting to love this because pork belly is my jam. It was good but compared to the wings this was just ok. Watermelon Soju wasn't bad, and if we had more people I'd like to try the Army soup - I hear it can feed 4-5 people. Only thing I didn't dig about this place was the acoustics. If there's anyone who is speaking just a little bit louder than their inside voice you can HEAR. EVERYTHING. This means it gets pretty damn loud in here. So get yourself some soju to help drown that out :) read more

We spent a good 2 HOURS driving around houston trying to find a korean restaurant that was open late with decent prices. This is a nice place to hang out with friends and get some drinks and heavy foods. We went on a Thursday night around midnight and there wasn't a wait at all. The interior is really nice, it's feels like an authentic Korean street restaurant with their neon lights and decorations. Firstly, the service was good, the servers were quick and very friendly and answered any questions we had. They have a button that allows you to call a server if you need any assistance which is convenients. We ordered the kream spaghetti, garlic soy wings, and kimchi fried rice. We were given a few side dishes including radish, kimchi, and a few other foods. Our food came out really quickly, about 10 minutes after our order was placed. The foods were pretty good portions for their price. Kreamy spaghetti was REALLY creamy and came with seafood. Noodles were perfectly cooked and everything was nicely blended. It was flavorful but it got kind of heavy. The same goes for the kimchi fried rice which we added pork belly to, it was good but they get heavy because of the oil. The fried rice was a little mushy too but it wasn't so bad. It was also a little spicy and didn't have a bunch of kimchi flavor. The garlic soy wings were average in my opinion, not really super great like other reviews say they are. They were crispy and sweet and although they weren't above average, they came with a lot so you're getting your money's worth! I forgot to mention that they offer free white rice so if you wanted to pair it with the chicken or anything be sure to just ask for it. All in all it was a great experience. Food was amazing but then the hype died down towards the end because it was SOOO filling and a little oily :( It was a lot of food for 3 people and we spent around $16 (plus tip) each to try the different dishes so not bad. I would definitely recommend if you wanted to eat some good food late at night. read more

Oh yum, oh yeah! I like this place. I love the decorum of this place and all the little nuances in this quaint Korean restaurant. The arrangement of the seating is unique. They are wooden stalls, sort of, that allow you to be seated next to another couple or group but it is separated so you don't see their faces. It's pretty cool!! When you are sat they provide you with two small metal cups and a large sports bottle filled with cold ice water with Korean figures on the bottle. It's pretty cute. Water was refreshing. We ordered the pork belly in the sweet, sticky sauce with kimchee and the soy glazed wings. You get a lot of food with both. We were planning to get more items but ended up with plenty. They also gave us assorted preserved and fermented ban chan. The pork belly was meats, fatty, and sweet. Savory too. Everything it was supposed to be!! The soy glazed wings sprinkled with sesame seed were good and salty. They were tasty but tasted better in the pork belly sauce and my friend even mentioned that he wished we would had ordered the chicken wings in the sweet, spicy sauce. Ahhhhh, next time! Those pickled radishes were legit good! Flavorful and crunchy! Kimchee was good but I love kimchee! They have an extensive list of different flavored soju, which is a popular alcohol preparation in Korea. They have a list of cool and interesting cocktails using the drinks that are mostly fruity that seem both delicious and probably potent but, alas, we didn't imbibe. Definitely will make this place part of my regular places to eat. The prices are super duper affordable, very reasonable for good food! The restaurant is very clean! Staff is super friendly. If you order drinks you can watch the bartender mix your concoction for you. They also have a patio to the side of the restaurant if you wanted to enjoy your drinks, food, and company outside. Either the owner or the manager makes his rounds to ensure you are having a good dining experience, which was nice. I'll definitely return!! read more
The yangnyeom wings and corn cheese are the best dishes I like. The corn cheese is sweet with mozzarella, bonito flakes, scallions and can make it spicy if you like. The wings are sweet and spicy and has a good crunchy skin. It comes with radish pickle to accommodate the chicken. The kimchi fried rice was subpar. u cant make reservations, it's first come first serve. if u have a big party coming in you should call in ahead of time
Are there vegan items on the menu?
They have your basic banchan items like kimchi, pickled cucumber and radish. But for the entrees and apps, not really besides like French fries and rice cakes.
