Japchaebap ($9.99): Delicious stir fried noodles with a lightly sweet and beefy sauce.

--- NK Score = 7.5/10 --- 7/10 = Furniture/Ambience 8/10 = Food Quality 7/10 = Service/Price (Other Ratings Hidden) _____________________________________________ =( BASIC INFO )= - Cafeteria, Inside H-Mart - Usually Not Busy, Spacious - Good Foods ( $8.00 - $14.00 ) - Korean Style Foods, Fresh - Can Be Cheap or Pricy - Some Walking, Parking Lot _____________________________________________ = Atmosphere = Food Court inside H-Mart, the ambience is casual with bright lighting across the entire area. A good place for lunch or dinner as it's fast, quiet, and spacious for individuals and small groups. _____________________________________________ = Food Quality = Japchaebap ($9.99): 4/5 - Delicious stir fried noodles with beef, onions, and a very interesting mixture of sweetness and beef juice? Anyways the flavors are very unique and tempting, I had a good time trying all the different flavors in this dish. Portion size is great as well. Jajangmyeon ($7.99): 4/5 - Tasty black bean sauce noodles with a delicate, smokey flavor. The sauce is very smooth and engulfs the entire dish, it's texture is a mix between soft and creamy, but don't worry, it's very crisp and fits well with the somewhat starchy noodles. _____________________________________________ = Price / Service = The price is decent, some dishes may be considered cheap but the others are average to semi-expensive. The portion sizes are fair though. Self-service, basically order by the counter and wait for them to make the food. _____________________________________________ Miscellaneous (Other): - Smelly Restroom, Sometimes - Free Sides with Food - Convenient Grocery Location Signed NK (July 2017) Images below by Jason Lx (NK)

Located in the back of the hmart. I have not gotten anything off of their buffet but I'm not sure that's even considered the Bob n Joe. I have slowly been working my way through this menu I seem to always want to get the clay pot bowls that have broth but sometimes I step outside of what I want and go for something else. Everything always tastes very fresh, the side items never seemed like they have been sitting out or are old. Don't be afraid to try the small fried fish that they serve you with your food but be careful of the little bones. I have likes pretty much everything I have had here, check my pictures but everything has a picture when you order, you don't order from them though you have to go to the buffet and then take them your receipt.

Came here with my boyfriend for dinner. For about $20 we had a very filling meal. I ordered the ohjinguh bokkeum (spicy stir fried squid) and he ordered the omelette rice. Each came with 4-5 sides that were flavorful and fresh! You order at the front, receive a number and retrieve your tray once your number is called. Fyi you have to pay at the cashier at the counter on left side of the Bob'nJoe. The spicy stir fried squid could pass for a meal for 2. I could only finish half. This dish has my approval- full of squid, veggies all stir fried in flavorful sauce that's not too spicy. I ordered it because the cashier said it was the most popular these days. The omelette rice was very flavorful as well, filled with fried rice and veggies. I didn't see any diced meat in there though, only peas and carrots. The inside is very spacious with many tables which is good for group gatherings. It still must be relatively new because it wasn't that bustling with people. Definitely not as many food options as the hmart off Blalock, this is the only corner with food made for order. Initially I had a hard time finding it, it's towards the back of the mart on your left. I also spied a bakery by the front of the hmart entrance that they are constructing to be open soon in the future. A little dessert after dinner perhaps!

It is located in the back left corner of the H-mart with tables available right there to dine. They have a a nicely large overhead menu laid out with alphabet-numerical codes so you can order what you want without language being too much of a barrier. We got the stir-fried baby octupus, as well as the beef udon noodles and the marinated korean ribs. Each dish comes with about 6 smaller side dishes which included sticky rice, kimchi, seaweed, a fish, etc. The experience of trying korean food on the cheap was fun and the food tasted alright, though I doubt i'll be driving up to china town for just this a second time.

I'm happy with my gimbap, It's not as good as the ones I had in Dallas but not too shabby: two rolls for six dollars. It has crab meat, tofu, veggies, daikon, carrot, and lots of rice. It's located right inside H-mart near Bellaire. The nice thing about this place is that they open early (like around 9). They serve a variety of Korean food from soups, congee, and rice dishes.

If you feel hungry while shopping at HMart, this is rt in the corner and it offers variety of korean cuisine. We ordered A10- korean stew of pork and kimchi and A6- pork stir fried.. both comes with big platter of rice, fish, seaweed, fish cake and flavored cucumber and served in sizzling hot metal pots. The portion was too big. Not a great place for hangout as will hear lot of noise from the shoppers but good place to grab a quick lunch if u are in Hmart.

I had the spicy seafood soup with fresh noodles, and it was spectacular. The noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked up all that incredible broth. The mix of shrimp, mussels, and squid made it feel hearty and well-balanced. I also tried my friend's beef short rib soup, which was just as delicious, definitely ordering that next time. The banchan really impressed me too. The kimchi had the perfect crunch and might be some of the best I've had. The fish cakes and scallions were also on point. The space is small but great for lunch or a casual dinner. Service was friendly, restrooms were clean, and overall it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back.

The bossam was delicious, plentiful with a good mix of sides. The bulgogi was sweet and a large portion. The seollangtang tasted a little strange to me but was full of meat and noodles. Service was quick and the restaurant was quiet, but played kpop over the speakers. It was a good place to chat. I remember liking their galbijjim the last time I was here. Overall, great place for classic Korean food that can be hard to find elsewhere!

This spot is located in a small plaza next to a busy trampoline park, and inside, it's very clean and well maintained. Each table has a menu of the offerings WITH pictures (so you don't have to scour Yelp like I usually do for pictures....). The waitresses come by to help answer any questions if you have any. To be honest, I think the menu tablets are a bit overkill since they have a small enough menu to look though, but it is good for people who aren't familiar with Korean food or the establishment itself. What's nice is you can get many of the dishes with noodles or rice as your starch of choice. 10/10 Jjamppong - the broth is flavorful, seafood rich, and noodles perfectly bouncy. SOO good. I couldn't finish the whole bowl, so it's easily shareable. 7/10 Chicken Fried Rice. It's expensive for the amount of rice you get. Flavor is good, but there's not a lot of chicken. Would suggest an appetizer as well if you want to stay full. This location does not have unlimited pickled radishes like the Spring Branch location. All in all, I really liked the food - I'll only really come back here for the noodle soup, but that's enough for me since they specialize in both the jjamppong and jiajangmyeon.
