Buffalo Chicken Slice Pizza of the Day
Lisa P.

This pizza was okay. I got the buffalo chicken slice and it was filling for me on a rainy day in Cambridge. I don't think it was the best pizza I have had though. It was just mediocre.

The chicken cutlet was amazing. The owner was polite and even helped with recommendations.

pizza with half roasted mushrooms & goat cheese and half pineapple jerk chicken & scallions

Delicious pizza that is hot and fresh! We ordered a pizza with half roasted mushrooms & goat cheese and half pineapple jerk chicken & scallions. Both were delicious though I liked the chicken one better. Great, quick service, and tables that seat up to 6 people.

large spinach, eggplant, feta pizza ($16.95) 2/2011

Located in the Holyoke Center Arcade at Harvard Square, this place is set up as a take out spot with tables and chairs set out along the hall of the Arcade. I placed my order, was given a number, and sat down to wait. Since I was told (when I asked) that it would take 15 minutes, I was surprised to receive my large spinach, eggplant, feta pizza ($16.95) just over 10 minutes later, only to find it warm. Warm, not hot-fresh-out-of-the-oven. I slipped a small slice out for a taste before taking the rest of the pie home. It was tasty but rather wet and floppy. At home, we heated the slices in the oven, which of course crisped the crust some. MUCH better. And the crust (yes, the edge part) was noticed as being nice and light and easy to bite through and enjoy. Good crust!

Tomato-basil-garlic

I've been on a pizza-by-the-slice kick this past week; expect to see more like reviews, this girl's been samplin'! I treated my classmate to a couple slices at Oggi (located in the Holyoke Center at Harvard Square.) Four slices came to $11.50. She recommended the tomato-basil-garlic (thin crust, non-greasy, delicious! Can't wait to have it again!) & I had to try their special of the day: tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese, zucchini cream. Know what I realized? I prefer tomato sauce-base pizzas. I usually leave the crust behind (evidence of how many slices I've devoured-yikes!), but theirs is a soft, pillowy flavorful kind! An example of carbs as comfort food! Only recommendation: they need granulated garlic to round out the trio of shakers (appreciate the crushed red pepper flake & oregano.)

I thought large was 18 inches.

I was not impressed. At first we wanted to get half a special and half cheese, but were told the special had a white sauce and half and half wouldn't work. That's fine, so we decided on the large special. It didn't take long to make and there was no one else there so we happily started on our way home without checking the pizza. Big mistake! First, there was no white sauce, so they either lied at the beginning or just made a pizza with the mostly right toppings and wrong sauce. The pizza was supposed to have jalapeno peppers but there was no spice to that pizza. It was just not a good pizza. Then we noticed that the pizza seemed kind of small and so we measured. It came to a mere 16 inches, when the diameter is supposed to be 18. I won't be eating here again.

Friendly staff, lots of choices on menu, and I particularly like the Chunky Chicken Salad Sandwich. Need to try their pizza sometime.

My first time in was with a friend to grab a slice of their chocolate cake. She was raving about it all night and it lived up to the hype. The cake is firm but moist and fudgy. Second time, I stopper by on a whim for a slice of pizza. I got cheese and bacon ranch. The slices were delicious. I have been on a hunt for a perfect pizza slice, the kind that droops naturally when you lift it and has the perfect sauce to cheese to crust ratio, this was it. Also thought the pricing was reasonable + they have a great rewards program you can sign up for! I am definitely going to be a regulal here moving forward. I've heard great things of Mortadella Head's ceasar sub, excited to go back and try it!

Came here to try the chopped Caesar sub, and for me it did not live up to the hype. First couple…read morebites seemed promising, as the dressing is pretty good, but then I got overwhelmed by the sheer amount of dressing in the sandwich and found myself trying to scrape off gobs of it. They're definitely more heavy handed on the sauce, so request light dressing or have it on the side if you're not lots of dressing. I also found the cutlets to be pretty sparse and dry, and the bread was just not good in texture or flavor. Service was fine, it took 20 mins to come out which was longer than I expected, and the space is small but has some seating. I might sound old, but the music was very loud and abrasive, so I didn't finish the other half of the sandwich and left. For $15 it wasn't my kinda sandwich so I probably won't be back.

Sizable fingers, but this style I call tenders, and tender they were. Crisp, but delicate, very much like fried clams, and the chicken underneath was tender and very moist. Good stuff with or without the dipping sauce. - Sauces: The honey mustard was smooth, slippery, sweet, and tangy. Very enjoyable. I also liked their Buffalo (more like straight Frank's) and Boom sauce (ranch with seasonings). - Fries: Very solid. Not sure if hand cut, but if they were frozen, they were unusually good. Lots of long pieces, and they tasted potatoey, not like industrial starch. - Coleslaw: Little to no vinegar, predominantly if not entirely mayo, but a thinned-down mayo, so not too heavy. Very crisp thin-cut cabbage, most likely in a mandolin. Enjoyable. Service: Very friendly.

The chicken tenders here are good quality and exactly what you'd expect for a well fried chicken…read moretender. Honey mustard sauce was good but nothing that stood out. Service is fast and they do have a couple counter seats but it feels more like a take out place. Four stars for the chicken tenders, not sure I'd try the other items.

Right near Harvard cafe this is a very spacious cafe with lots of space to sit / work. They also have free wifi. I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! From students to uncles having business meetings (iykyk). I really was expecting for them to have some type of chai (Yemeni or some sort). But the only chai they had was Egyptian black tea or chai latte. I settled for a chai latte with coconut milk which came to around $6. This price is on par with the cafes in the area. The chai was very sweet and had a strong spice taste which tasted like it was made from a syrup. Not the best cup of tea. Their menu has a lot of items.

Chocolate Croissant: A simple and straightforward croissant with a chocolate stick inside. Using dark chocolate prevented it from being too sweet, which is a plus. Plain Croissant: Surprisingly, it was still delicious even after being refrigerated for two days. The bread was very soft and had a subtle peppery aroma.
