a sub sandwich with pickles and tomatoes
    Fantastic H.

I will give them a 3 based on the opinion of 2 people and 2 different subs. I had the steak and cheese (Swiss), mushrooms, hots, mayo and ketchup (had to add my own). Overall the sub was ok my likes = soft bread and full of meat Dislikes = dry, lack of any flavor at all. On the Italian sub: I have no comment I don't eat pork BUT my boyfriend who pretty much has no complaints ever said this isn't how he is used to his Italian subs and exact words "this is NOT it". The sad part is he barely eats pork and that is by default because I don't eat it so when he does it should be exactly what the doctor ordered. Sidenote: I do want to try out one of the specialty salads.

Nice girl at counter, she had a newborn which I made a comment about ho sweet they were. Food was fine. Not great. Not bad. Totally acceptable. 3 stars because Cambridge has a mask mandate and a manager was training someone and the manager was the only one not wearing a mask. This is not ok in a city with a mask mandate. The trainee had one as did the girl at the desk but the manager didn't put one on when I asked her. So silly- how is wearing a simple piece of light masking hard? She rolled her eyes at me. Ok. It's not my rule. She wasn't nice at all. I also ordered beef shawarma (on receipt) and got chicken. Family run place which it seems tries to have Mexican (carne asada and pollo asada Mexican) but also many others. It's a strange time and food was basic and ok. Nothing bad. Well except the beef being chicken. Wear a mask folks and no politics here it's a requirement in Cambridge. It helps us all. I walked in with a mask.

everything i have had has been so good so far. i prefer the steak and cheese pizza over the calzone though. but both good.

I love this place. Great location, perfect hours... I have ordered from here many times, and the food is always delicious. I recommend the grilled chicken dinner (w rice and veggies)! It super tasty w good size chunks of chicken throughout, w the rice, peppers and onions all perfectly proportioned, and complementing the meat just right! The staff is very friendly as well :)

Just half of my huge gyro $10
    Rima K.

3 stars because it is what it is, A-OK. Its your basic next door pizza shop. I ordered the gyro for delivery with Yelp Eats. It was $10 ($1.00 to add hummus and tabouli) The size was very large, I was stuffed after just half and left the other half for tomorrow. It took an hour to deliver and was on the bland side. The amount of tabouli and hummus was very little for the extra charge and its stuffed into your gyro. There are about 3 slices of gyro and mine were kind of soft maybe from the long delivery time. But for a cheap price two people can eat one of these.

Ziti, chicken, and broccoli with Alfredo sauce. Arrived cold and I had to microwave it. Very inconvenient. It was okay. Not great.

Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave good food and wine recommendations from the menu. Our party really enjoyed the octopus as it was a tender bite with freshness coming from the peas/mint/cilantro. We also enjoyed the juicy meatballs with tomato sauce and again a hint of freshness and nuttiness coming from the pine nut pesto. We were not crazy about the striped bass crudo. It just seemed to fall flat flavor wise for me maybe not enough salt or acid to really counter balance the other fresh clean flavors in the dish. That being said it was not bad just underwhelming. The pizzas were great value price wise and the flavor combinations were unique but also worked well with one another. I liked how they didn't shy away from using spicy peppers on the Nduja pizza. The Fennel Sausage pizza had that fattiness from the sausage mixed with acidity from the cherry peppers and some creaminess/extra layer of flavor with the green garlic cream sauce. I somewhat wish the pizza bottom was baked slightly longer for a less floppy center but that's just personal preference. They clearly put a lot of effort into this pizza recipe. The only critique we would have is the service seemed a bit rushed. We would have enjoyed a bit more time between appetizers and the mains. Even the check came pretty shortly after we finished which would be understandable on a busy weekend night but this was a Tuesday evening and there seemed to be plenty of empty tables around us. Other than that would recommend for an elevated night out!

I got the after school snack cocktail which was very refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. We split the Bucatini Verde and it was so delicious. I couldn't even pinpoint the flavors I was eating but it was amazing. Fresh pasta and just really good flavor. We saw a dish online we wanted, but the server explained they use that pasta for different dishes and change out the sauce, so I'm glad I got to try it. We then split the Pepperoni + Vodka Sauce pizza which was good. I'll be honest I was a tad disappointed in the pizza. It was flavorful but I think I was expecting the same feeling I got when I had the pasta. It was good, but just that, good. Crust was a little burnt. I did love the vibes and pasta and it's definitely known in Cambridge for a good reason. I'd recommend a reservation if you'd like a table as it does fill up fast.

My go-tos are the mushroom pie and clam pie, both of which are super flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was poor from the start. The waitress told us we would be seated at the bar. She rolled her eyes and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked if it was okay that my sister was under 21. She said it was fine as long as we didn't order drinks, then seated us at the bar. We were only given drink menus. When the bartender came over to take our order, I had to ask for a food menu myself. Our seating was also uncomfortable. We were placed right next to the bar/server station. My sister got splashed when drinks were being opened, and servers repeatedly bumped into her chair while passing. We ordered the Carnivore pizza. The pizza itself was quite salty. The dough was decent, but not impressive. I kept trying to convince myself it was good, but it fell short. Pizza: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Would I return? No. Overall, I was surprised by the 4.4 rating. My expectations were much higher based on the reviews.
