DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!! My laptop was having battery issues and had to be replaced. He was so confident he knew how to replace batteries for macbooks. After he told me that he replaced the batteries, I was still having issues. I went back multiple times, only to be told there was nothing wrong with the battery. I showed him how my battery dies very quickly (and shuts down unexpectedly) after a certain point but he didn't believe me. He told me that according to his battery test, it came back normal. Yet, he was not able to explain why it shuts down unexpectedly or why the battery decreases very quickly. Since he didn't believe me, I went to the apple store where they confirmed there was indeed a problem with the battery. When I came back to explain this (I showed him paperwork from apple + notification on my laptop telling me to change my battery), he STILL refused to admit there was anything wrong. Came here because my computer's battery was not working very well and was causing my computer hardware to pop up. I was told that I just needed to replace my battery and that it'd be a simple fix. This person held onto my computer for 2 months before telling me that my battery isn't the issue and that it would cost way too much to fix it. They told me to pick up my unfixed computer but upon picking it up, I asked them to put the hardware back on. They had taken it off while attempting to fix it, but couldn't put it back on. Instead, they attempted to TAPE it back on... PHOTOS ATTACHED. On top of that, they even charged me $30 for a service fee. Outrageous. They took a slightly broken computer and gave it back to me absolutely ruined and charged me $30 for it. read more

Never go here. 1. They tamper with the hardware without authorization, intentionally causing minor failures to induce customers to bring it back, and potentially rip them off on repair & replacement. 2. I highly suspect that they install faulty software and suggest replacement on perfectly good hard drives (mainly) and other hardware. Here's the full story. My colleague's computer caught some malware, antivirus could not completely remove, so we needed a clean reformat. Normally I'd do it myself, but didn't have time to spare, so I took it here for a simple reformat, windows and misc programs installation. It had no problems before, never had any services done anywhere. The guy called a couple hours later, saying something's wrong with the cpu fan, offering to open it up to check it out. Knowing full well that some repair shops like to swap out some parts or intentionally cause minor hardware failures to rip off repair & replacement costs, i told him not to open it, that i will check it out later. Next day i picked it up, plugged it in, cpu fan failure as he mentioned. I took it down to open it up, then i notice scratch marks around the outer shell, signs of breech. Like i mentioned, this computer is relatively new, never had any service, and no one in the company knows how to open it up besides myself. Regardless, I tried to log into Windows and see if anything else is wrong, but I'm stuck in a diagnosis loop, suggesting hard drive or system file failure. So I checked hardware and temperatures in settings. No sign of hardware swap, thank God, but CPU temperature is 45-55 in idle state. Not possible unless it's been unplugged or otherwise disabled. I immediately suspected foul play, called them asking if he opened up, but of course he denies it. Later i took it there, showing him the scratch marks. Now he (the owner) claims that he merely began to open it up before calling me, and stopped when i told him no. About the fan and system failures, he blamed the hard drive and that it needs to be replaced. First, it makes no sense that you would BEGIN opening it up, then ask for permission in the middle of it. Second, it makes no sense that a perfectly normal computer's CPU fan would suddenly stop working upon re-formatting. Third, not everything is the hard drive's fault, bro. I asked him to remove the cover in front of me, to check for any tampering. He refused, saying that it's a 3-4 hour process just to open it up. I called his bullshit, and he was very offended that I was suggesting foul play, offered my money back, and told me to open it up myself and prove my point. I'd never opened up an All-in-one before, so I wasn't 100% sure about his "3-4 hour" claim, so I backed off a bit, taking the money, telling him I will open it up and inspect, then get back to him. I came home with it, opened it up and voila, CPU fan pin is unplugged. So I took a picture of it, plugged back in, made sure everything else is in order, then sealed it back up. The entire process took about 30 minutes. Today I brought it back to the office, powered it up, CPU fan problem is solved (obviously), but system still fails. So I clean-reinstalled Windows, now everything runs fine, as it did before I took it to their shop. I tried calling them to let them know of the whole process and tell him not to mess with customers, but no answer. They have caller ID, so I'm assuming they're intentionally not answering. Before I begin, I want to point out that I hardly leave a review at any kind or at any store. But this time, I just HAD to leave a review for his RUDE customer service. After they did what they had to do, one of my design applications disappeared/not working from my computer. This software is the one that works with the key, and it is not a commonly used application. Unfortunately, it is the main software I have to use for my work. When I called, he just kept telling me that he didn't do anything about it. I never accused him of doing something wrong to cause this. But all he kept saying was that he didn't do anything to cause it, and even if I bring it back to him, he can't probably fix it because he didn't do it. His gesture/words to let me bring it back was so perfunctory. To me, it was a frustrating situation too because I used the application right until I took it to him, and it disappeared after I reconnected it after I brought it home. It is no big deal if I can reinstall it, but at the time I didn't have the original application with me, and I had to do something for my client. In the end, he said he won't ever service my business. Yeah I wouldn't take it to him anymore either, but it is so sad that he can only do so little customer service yet busy defending himself. I used this place a couple of times and didn't have issues yet, but the act of rudeness just lost a customer. And of course, I won't tell people I know good things about this business. I hope he understands the ONLY reason I called him back after I found out it was missing was because he was a professional in this area where I wasn't and was seeking help. read more

This is a small computer repair counter located inside Hannam Super One Chain. Whenever I visit the food court in Hannam Chain, I walk by this counter and look in at the items on sale. I have occasionally bought a USB flash drive, VGA card, or small peripheral, but recently had the occasion to try their computer repair services. I visited at lunch and told them that my recent Windows update and re-installation had failed, and I needed to possibly replace my hard drive and re-install Windows. Alex first asked if I needed to save data on my old drive, but I didn't need to, since everything was safely backed up already. He was very knowledgeable, and suggested that instead of spending a lot on a big new SSD drive, I should consider a new smaller SSD drive to improve performance, and try to save my old hard drive for data storage duties. If the old drive couldn't be saved, I could just go with a larger SSD drive at no additional cost risk, applying any costs to the total purchase price. He said it would take one day to do, including checking my old hard drive for hardware problems. I dropped off the computer later that day, and it was ready to go the next afternoon. The computer now boots in a fraction of the time, and applications load almost instantly. And I am still able to use my old hard drive for bulk data storage! And it was done at a very competitive price, especially considering that it included new hardware with installation, as well as repair of my old hard drive, and was done in less than one day. I've been going there for years. Recently, I just got my 11 year old lap top fixed, and it's like brand new. So glad I did not spend over $1200 for a new one. They just needed to replace the broken screen ($150), and they suggested I replace the hard drive with a new one, which I did for just another $150. Again, my computer is like brand new. Don't /never go back this place again. They overcharged and asking so many unnecessary parts to be replaced. I paid and picked up the computer but no sound. I didn't go back and I have repaired some place else. I will never go back. Don't waste your time and money. read more
