I have been working with Jason at computer link for several years. He manages all of the IT work at the company I work for and I have also brought my personal computers to him as well. The best thing about Jason is the fact that he always trys to come up with the best COST EFFECTIVE solution for whatever problems I may have. I have found that IT/computer repair are often like car mechanics, they are constantly trying to do more work than required to make an extra buck. Jason has proven himself honest to me by only recommending what he thinks needs to be done to fix my problem. A good example of this was when my sisters MacBook Air had a messed up screen. She brought it to another shop and they wanted to replace the whole screen portion. I had Jason take a look at it and all he did was add some tension on a cable! $80 fix vs the 400+ the other company wanted. Completely blew our mind that there could be that big of a difference. Wow what incredible service! So I just got both my laptop and my tablet back from Jason and both of them are working better than they ever have. Jason works out of his home in La Mirada and it's completely safe being La Mirada of course. If you get the chance ask for him to show you his arcade collection it's really awesome. The guy is a natural tinkerer and a geek in the best way meaning that he has a natural interest and curiosity in figuring out how Electronics work. The customer service was super friendly and professional. My laptop had a busted screen and needed to be replaced. Jason quoted a better price than the other competition in the area and he provided exactly the screen that I wanted. My tablet has stopped working after I had installed a software update on it for the Android operating system so I thought it was a software issue Jason actually cracked open my tablet and fixed some loose wires and got it working again. This is really great he went above and beyond and put in the extra effort to make sure that my device is working and in good shape again he even ran a malware check and removed the spyware that normally comes installed with Windows. Jason was beyond helpful with fixing my computer. I have an Asus laptop which has a reputation for having bad charging ports. I originally went to Fry's and Geek Squad to see if they could fix it. They gave me the run around saying I was better off buying a whole new laptop because the whole motherboard had to be replaced. I called up Jason said he could take a look and more than likely the laptop could be repaired without the motherboard replacement. I gave it to him in the morning and said it would be ready by the next day at the latest. He ended calling me the that night saying it was ready. When I went to go pick it up he showed me the issue and what he did to repair and it was a quarter of the cost Frys and Geek Squad! He gave me a receipt for the work done as well and a 30 day warranty if any issues arose after the repair. If you have any laptop issues I highly recommend giving him a call! read more

Jason has been a big help for me, fixing all of my computer, iPad, and smart phone issues.  My computer was running very slow.  I kept getting Windows error messages along with a bunch of pop-up messages loaded with various advertisements.  It was so bad, that I could not use my computer to do everything.  I could not write any letters, check any email, or even just surf the web without these crazy pop-up windows that kept constantly showing up.  This was so very, very frustrating that I was at the verge of just throwing my computer in the trash.  I contacted Jason and he assured me that he could help me, not only with my computer, but with all of my other electronic devices.  He was able to come over that same evening and work his magic.  And magic it was.  Most of his time here, was fixing my computer.  According to him, my computer was one of the most heavily infected computers that he had ever seen.  I guess I win the prize (in a bad way).  I think he said that I had something like 700+ malware files running on my computer.  He was able to remove all of them as well as remove a huge amount of temporary files.  I ended up getting almost half of my free space back.  Now my computer boots up just fine and it also appears faster now.  No more trashcan for my renewed computer.  He then jumped on my iPad and was able to successful get my email working on it and also help me move all of my pictures from my International trip that I took on it to my computer where they could be backup.  He also updated the operating system on it to the latest one as to fix any bugs or security holes from Apple.  I don't know what that means exactly, but Jason let me know that that was in my best interest to do it to help keep my iPad from getting hacked.  I hear so many computer hacking stories on the news these days, so I think I need all the help I can get.  I also recent just upgraded my cell phone from a dumb phone to smart phone.  I asked him to if he could help me figure out how to use it and I'm so glad that I did that.  He configured my email on it, created shortcuts for the dial pad, contacts, text messages, and email right on the main screen.  He even recommended a few necessary apps as he called it.  I think the best app he installed was Waze.  I can't wait to use it the next time I have to drive a long distance.  I am so thankful for technology savvy people like Jason that are able to work with the older generation in keeping us up to date in a world of constantly changing technology. read more

I called and from the conversation over the phone I knew I can trust them on my computer problem specially after stopping by Best Buy and getting the horrible service they hate their customers and told me that they would source out my computer to be fixed to outside company.
