DO NOT COME TO THIS COMPUTER REPAIR!!! This is arguably one of the worst businesses i've ever visited in my life. I built my first computer and for some reason I couldn't get display. So I brought my PC here for a diagnostics. The man at the establishment starts looking at my PC and starts throwing it around all over his repair desk. To the point of one of the USB's plugged in was bent when I got it back. He tells me "GPU and RAM were bad" and thats why my PC wasn't working. I didn't suspect that to be right as he charged me $20 for this service. This man was trying to rob me for the most expensive parts! Like I mentioned, right away I knew what he said was wrong, so I went to another computer place right after, turns out I didn't have a wire properly plugged in and the service was way better. (shoutout ComputerTech Brookhurst) To make matters worse the man at the first repair shop also took my GPU support bracket as well!!! I had to go back the next day and retrieve it, not even a sorry. 0/10 for the costumer service, 0/10 for diagnostics and technical expertise. 0/10 for professionalism and trustworthiness. Yelp challenge 2016. 5/116 **5 Star Friday** A couple of honest computer hereos that won't hurt your wallet. We have been here a few of times for our computer check ups. Our desk tops and lap tops have all been patients here. Located at Knott and Lincoln in The Gonzalez shopping center, over at the side of the plaza. If your not looking for it, you would never know it was there. Shop is nothing fancy. Just a couple of tech guys and some equipment. What you need to know is, these guys are honest. They are not going to do anything unnecessary. If it is not performing ideally, they can successfully pinpoint the problem and make it all better. Here is the thing. Our computer's were running slow. They were able to speed things up. We needed to reinstall programs, they were able to do it. We needed memory, they had it. For simple tech issues to building a computer these guys are legit. Other places in the area do not even compare. Service is fast and efficient. Some jobs are quick, some take a bit longer. They keep you in the loop of what to expect. To explain my experience. Bought laptop screen November via eBay, defective and returned early December. Then nothing. It was my error that I allowed what appeared to be a legitimate well rated business run out the clock on contesting the charge. By late January all I had was a lame "employee in charge didn't do it but I'll get back to you tomorrow " excuse then complete silence. I emailed (always polite), no response. I called (David's not here, call back) only to find my number had been blocked. There was never conflict, the fraud came easy to David. There's 3 things that I can see that explain how a seemingly reputable and highly rated 14yr old business does this- 1- There's been a change ownership /management (David Ramirez?} 2- They've always been a fraud but are very good at hiding it 3- They are in severe financial peril and simply can't afford to give refunds. Either way, I'm out over $200. Think twice before doing business with them. The positive reviews here do not match their reality. read more

Took my laptop in yesterday and he had it done before noon today. The problem was I had to upgrade from windows 7, to windows 10, add 2 more gigs of RAM and put on the latest Microsoft office version. My computer runs amazing and is fast now. The price was such a good deal, I couldn't pass up on the offer. Under $200 it cost me, compared to buying a new laptop. If I have any issues , he will look at it for free he said. At a moment in time when my PC was stuck trying to update itself to the latest Windows 10 update, this local store came to my rescue. Aside from doing a free diagnostic, they were able to upgrade my PC with 500GB of storage as well as completely find the data stored on my hard drive that was corrupted during the failed update. I always underestimated this place and I'm not exactly sure how long it has been around but I am so glad I came here. I usually make the few mile drive to Best Buy in Cerritos to fix anything with my computers, but this time I was desperate and did not want to take my computer all the way to best buy. Plus they take forever! So my mom recommended this place and I decided to give it a chance. I took my laptop on a Friday afternoon and they had my computer ready by 2pm the next afternoon! It was super fast, and they didn't lie and keep me waiting like most other places do, which I appreciated! The guys working there are super friendly and speak Spanish so I know they're able to help a lot of people! They charge $45 for a clean-up of your laptop and charge $15 if you want to save your documents/pictures/music, etc.. CASH ONLY. I took my laptop in on the same day that I got it 'fixed' someplace else and a new issue popped up. A ticking noise that was growing increasingly louder was driving me crazy. I was clearly going mad because I left my computer and wrote down my contact info without grabbing a business card or writing down the name of the person I handed my laptop. He told me he'd call me once he looked at it. Well that day turned into tomorrow and I got no call so I telephoned. Whoever I spoke to told me they call me back in 20 minutes. An hour later I was still waiting and getting a bit nervous. So I decided to roll down there. When I get there to my great surprise the sound issue had been fixed and the ticking sound was gone. When I asked how much? I was told 'next time'. I got double for all my trouble. Best believe I'll be back the next time I have an issue with this old laptop. My computer ended up breaking on Friday night after going on a booting loop! After checking computer repair places on yelp, this place caught my eye. I called in the on Saturday morning to see if they'd be able to take my after I finished up with work and they said that's perfectly fine! I took my computer in around 12 and the guy working (I believe his name was David) told me the diagnostic run (which is free FYI) would take around 2 hours and he'd call me once he got the results. It ended up that my hard drive was fried, so he'd have to replace it which ended up costing $130! The replacement took another 2 hours, and when I got in, he showed me that everything was working and answered any additional questions I had. He was quick to get everything done, friendly, and knowledgeable on any computer related questions I had! Next time my computer has any problems, I would definitely come back here to get it fixed! read more

I Love this place! They always get my computer going at minimal price, sometimes even while I'm still there. I referred them to my 89 year old father who has issues with computers sometimes and he always thanks me for sending him their way. Was having problems with my computer. Took it to David and left it with him. He called and told me it was done, so i went to pick it up. Once I arrived, he told me eventually I'd need a new computer, but this would do me for now. Got home, fired up the computer and is doing the exact same thing it was before. My problem isn't with the fact that my computer isn't working or is on its way out, my problem is that he gladly accepted my money but didn't fix anything. I took my computer in with a virus letting them know that one of the symptoms was that there were problems connecting to the internet. I could connect but it was very slow, sometime timing out and it was not showing a signal strength it should have been which I assumed was related to the virus. Although they removed the virus, they installed anti-malware software I did not ask for. Additionally, my computer will not connect to the internet now. There is a "microsoft teredo tunneling adapter conflict" that I have been unable to fix myself! So, they install software I did not ask for or want but they do not make sure my computer will connect to the internet before calling to say it is fixed! No, I am not happy because I gave them my last dime to get fixed this far! $75! read more
