This review is only for their Shipping Services Only!!! Their shipping services are super fast and easy. You use the computer to input your information (to and from) and the label prints out. The person behind the counter then puts the label on your box and charges you for your shipping and off you go! There's almost never a line like at the post office! Out of the 3 times I went, only one time (today), was there a person in front of me. I also love that they take both UPS and USPS boxes! I hate having to look up UPS stores and they're never nearby! Love that this is right down the street! They also have a bunch of flat rate boxes available if you didn't already pack a box beforehand. I love that you can drop off a box anytime they're open! I dropped off a box today and of course the post office is closed but my package will go out first thing in the morning! Super awesome! My only gripe about this place is they're always short staffed! Today, there was only one person at the station so only one customer could be helped at a time. Another time I came, there were 2 workers but the person helping me had never been assigned this area before and had no idea what to do. Aiya! Staff this department! It's such a great service! My wife and I had a very enjoyable and positive experience at the Kaahumanu Store today. Manager Ron and his staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt a very positive feeling in the store. Bottom line up front: 4 stars for selection, service, convenience and price. You would think that a specialty place like Office Depot would be more expensive than Walmart and Target, but their printers, printer ink, laptops, and other office electronics are pretty much comparable. I recent bought ink for an HP 6600 and it was the same price as Walmart. As a bonus, they are super close for us In the Waimalu & Newtown areas. Although it's the busy shopping season (holiday) not to mention Black Friday weekend I was impressed with the way Jacob handled customer service. My item that I ordered online was set for pick up in which I received an email confirmation. I gave it one day and went to customer service to pick it up. Jacob searched high and low for my item and couldn't locate it. Jacob didn't just shut me down and say "sorry we don't have it and we can't do anything about it". Jacob researched it- offered me a comparable item at the fair sale price (saving me money) and also helped me purchase one other item also on sale. Solid three stars for Office Depot. After the demise of the big box computer retailers, you can still walk into an Office Depot and browse the latest and greatest computers on the market. My review is for their printing services. My printer wasn't working and I needed something printed and they were the closest printer to me. I sent them my files at 10:30am via email and while they received my order they take forever to actually print it. It was just black and white print on normal paper so I figured it would be easy to just print out but ti's been 3 hours and they said they still haven't had a chance to do it so I ended up canceling my order because it's so much easier to drive farther and have it printed faster. I could have purchased a new printer, set it up and printed in that amount of time. I guess they're not known for their printing services but still... go elsewhere. Deborah, the store manger is awful!!! I will never return here again!!! She wont honor the PAID $60 extended warranty that i bought with my tablet. When i bought it, i was assured, "anything at all happens, just bring it in and we will replace it." The managers selling point was that i wouldn't have to go through the hassle of calling the manufacturer to get it fixed. And the tablet had a manufacturers defect that it is not responsive in all areas of the screen, was like that straight from the box. It is in excellent condition, no damage whatever. I finally make it there and explain my situation, show her the receipt. She says "sorry you are going to have to call the 800 number and they will give you a gift card in the amount of the purchase." U explained that i didn't pay the $60 to go through the same hassle i would get from Asus, i wanted her to honor what the other manager promised. I bought it for peace of mind in case it ever broke the screen. I shouldn't have to pay 60 because they sold me a tablet defective from the manufacturer. She refused to honor any of the guarantees that were made to me, and was very rude about it. She should be fired for costing office depot another customer. Ok so the common denominator seems to be that Office Depots really need help. Service leaves a lot to be desired, a lot! Walked in to return an unneeded software and stood in line. I noticed that there were 4 other people in line and only one cashier. The cashier seemed to be having a lot of trouble with a transaction all the while the line grew to 12 customers. As we all were growing short with the wait you could hear people speaking out loud to call a manager but that seemed to go onto a deaf ear. I have been looking around for any reenforcements to come to his aide but all I saw was a cowardly lion. A middle aged employee was ho hum walking around and looking at the one cashier and the line of irritated customers, then he would look away. He repeated that and rinsed. After about 10 minutes an assistant manager comes to help that person that was having trouble. And they worked the line down together. I ended up with the original cashier and I noticed his name tag said that he was some kind of ambassador. REALLY? He had NO personality, wasn't applogetic about the wait and didn't even give me anything free for waiting so long (kiddin!). But really come on Office Depot! 5/3/21 went to use xerox machine to make some copies. I learned how to do it about 6 mo the ago but I couldn't remember how to do it again. It's been years since I've stepped foot in an Office Depot, since it seems I'm always looking for that obscure item that the big box probably doesn't carry. I decided to drop by this morning because I had a gift card balance, was surprised when they carried it, and was spurred to write a review because of the awesome customer service! I was looking for a particular stationary, which the first store (and much larger) didn't have. Before heading to town, I googled and found the Office Depot in Waimalu - I had forgotten all about it. I found the stationary, then wandered about checking out some prices. Seemed competitive for the supplies I usually buy online, some larger items were surprisingly cheaper (including the printer I bought a month ago), and they price match. They didn't have a bunch of other items that I've bought this year though. Up until this point, I would have skipped the review entirely. The person helping me checkout was awesome though (and I'm a little critical sometimes on customer service)! I think they went above and beyond for sure, making sure I had exactly what I needed, answering all my questions, and price matching my item. I'm incredibly happy that I was able to find exactly what I needed (I bought 2 of the last 3 boxes though, hope they have more for the next person) and the customer experience will ensure I visit here as my first stop when I need supplies next. After going to fed ex to get papers laminated ($100's of dollars worth of papers) I finally figured out that Office Depot laminates AND has 2 qualities of lamination to offer (thinner and thicker) the thinner one is the one that I chose since it was $1 less then fed ex (it doesn't seem like its a lot but when you're laminating 16+ papers a week and paying $2.49 at fed ex you do the math lol) anyways the quality is much better than fedex and office max rounded off the edges on my papers as well as overall I will be coming back here again read more

I gave her the okay and walked around the store waiting for the stamps. She saw me a little while later and came up and said that the stamps were done. I was going to check in with her later, but the TWO stamps were done so much quicker than I expected. So I have been visiting a lot of the office depots lately because they have this awesome deal going on right now. On select items, if you purchase it, you get 100% back in rewards! If I order it online, I get an additional 5% off. So I purchase online and opt for the "in-store pickup". Some items, I dont get why they cost so much, but it didnt really matter to me because in reality, its free to me. Anyway, so one morning, I went to pick up my items and it went pretty smoothly. My items were not even ready for pickup when it should have been ready the day before! It didnt take a long time but it was pretty quick. When I went home, I place another order online to pickup later in the day (because theres a limit of 2 per item per day, the morning pickup was for the purchase the day before). I go home and finally get the text that my items are ready. When I get there, my items are NOT ready and there is some confusion on my order on their computer. How is that possible? They texted me the order was ready, so Im expecting to be in an out quickly. I think by the time I got out, it was 15 minutes, possibly longer. The other Office Depot's handled my orders quickly when they texted me it was ready. Sorry Aiea, based on the other stores response and procedures, I had to rank you a little lower than them. I came out and just needed to pick up the staples...but decided to check if hey had one of those Neat Receipts thingies...I usa a Mac at home and I thought I would like to find out if they happen to actually have a Mac version available that will interface with my QuickBooks...really, Im not that nerdy, but in my part time, I do bookkeeping as a hobbie. If you place an order on-line they give you a delivery date and don't follow through with it, nor do they call or send you an email that it's NOT the date we said it would be. You then call the customer service # they provide to you in your email and none of them have no clue about the order and tells you to call the local store. I call the store and 5-different people answer asking me for the order # and...... now they tell me, no delivery today, but said tomorrow for sure. 3-days later than what the on-line confirmation tells you. The best was when "Besty" answers the call and I tell her I am following up on an order I placed and she says "Telemarketing" right? Whaaaaat, you 4-real??? Though my desk experience was absolutely unprofessional, it appears to be mostly a corporate mistake, and due to recent experiences I need to update the local staff running this Aiea branch. 4 stars, because on my last couple of purchases the cashier has been scanning coupons for me that I didn't know were available! Teresa is the bestest techie at Office Depot, Waimalu ! She was able to find me the perfect "On Sale" laptop computer to address my Mom's Funeral planning needs. We needed a computer to collate and save pictures for Mom's funeral service. There was a deadline and we wanted to get it done the very same day that we bought the computer. Super Teresa was able to format and install all the software that we needed in two hours. This allowed us to be able to accomplish our task at hand. We had one problem with loading the license of our new Word program and went back to see Teresa the following day. Not only did she rectify our problem (while I got a bite to eat) but she also was able to help me take off all the pictures stored and slowing down my Windows phone and store them on the desktop of my new laptop ! I get many of my supplies here. The prices are good...but the customer service is Hit and Miss. The service is good on the floor...but I often have issues with the "Business Center"...as I did today. I walked in to shred documentation. So I waited at the counter for 12-15 minutes before the girl said she "would be right with me". She was helping another customer. Then she came and grabbed the bag. I said I will need to see it being shredded. She said, "Ohh...kaaaayyyyy" like I was being rude or something. But I said that because it is all my client's paperwork and I have a fiduciary repsonsibity to protect their personal infomation. So I waited another 5 minutes and as I am waiting, I notice about 4 employees just strolling around in front. The girl who was behind the counter never asked for help from them...and they never offered. There were two other parties waiting besides me. I grabbed my stuff and walked to the front. The manager wasn't there and I didn't want to wait. The thing that is constitently bad is the professionalism in the Business Center. Since they are dealing with business professionals...then they should ACT like one as well. 1. Greet the customer when one walks up. Doesn't matter if they are helping another patron. Let them know they will be with the parton shortly. 2. Make eye contact and talk clearly. 3. If it is getting busy...ask for help. Pretty basic stuff....but it needs to be said none-the-less. I will be taking my shredding, copying, and lamition to Office Maxx from now on. They are consistenly professional....although their prices tend to be a little higher. read more

I was in this office depot looking for 2 lined phones. Me and my co workers were trying to flag down a sales associate to help us with our phone situation. We couldn't find anyone around. And when we seen one they just walk right past us. We ended up walking to the register and asking them if someone can meet us near the phones and help us. Office Depot, especially at this location, has been my go-to for certain office supply related materials such as printer toners, printer ink, paper, calendars, masking tape, storage bins, jump flash drives, paper, etc. They usually have some pretty good deals during the week for certain items which are always usually highlighted in the front of the store. They have a nice selection of office supplies for good prices. They also have some pretty good deals and sales on computer laptops and printers. They also have some printing services which I have gone and used them for a few times. The customer service is good. There is almost always a worker walking around and always willing to help to answer a question or two. The prices for everything are pretty decent. They are conveniently located inside the Waimalu Shopping Plaza next to T-Mobile, City Mill, etc. They have a lot of parking in the front. The store is usually not too busy. Compared to other Office Depots I feel this one is pretty big. It has been around here for a while now. read more
