Some are little men's and whatnot, but they do have great styles. Be sure to subscribe to their emails and download the app. It does help with their discounts and children's place bucks rewards. Shopping is timing too! They have moments where a $39 jeans will drop as low as $10. They have MANY stores around the island so you don't have to worry about not having the item in stock! Not unless it is a close out sale where they no longer have it and it's limited availability. I shopped there a few months back and paid $130 for what was originally $300. Saw a sign in the window- sale signs are my weakness. The store has so much merchandise that luckily signs post the area of the size you need. I never got to the clothes cuz 2 necklaces with matching bracelets on the rack had me stop in my tracks. One for my little sweetie's easter basket and one for just because. The only employee in site was stocking or folding some clothing. I patiently waited at the counter then finally turned and asked, "can you ring me up?" She continued folding a while thus the 1 missing star. My phone number was still in their system when she looked me up. She kept going back and forth between what looked like 2 cell phones. This review was an earlier review but placed it under Pearlridge Shopping Center" It should've been under "The Children's Place". I love coming here but today it was disturbing to see a worker who was so rude and just plain ignorant to customers her name is Lowena. Though your name tag was hidden I still got YOUR name!! She was throwing plastic containers that had girls trinkets and items i'm assuming she had to hang them up, she constantly threw things and looked at everyone as if she wanted someone to say something. We all stood in shock to see how rude she were. To top that off she didn't get a response so she hopped on the register that faces the back of the store and yelled "NEXT" with her hand up as saying come here. I was trying to control myself but lost it when she screamed louder c'mon Next in line! I looked at the cashier who was embarrassed by her co-workers attitude and said "She's so Rude, First she throws things now she's yelling as if we all did something wrong". The cashier looked at me and said softly i'm sorry!! I said don't be, it's her that should be. To the owner(s) of The Children's Place - I will still shop here for my grandsons clothes because i love the prices and styles but I would appreciate a salesperson like Tiana who was pleasant and not like Lowena who clearly was miserable taking her frustration out on customers. The wait to pay for your stuff is wayyyy too long. This wasn't the first time I waited for a while. They had 5 girls working and only 1 ringing up people, 4 hanging up clothes then 4 was behind the counter but still only 1 was ringing up people and was taking long. The person in front of me looked a little irritated because they were waiting for about 10 minutes so I would've been waiting way longer. I just dropped the clothes on the side and left I don't have time for this. The wait probably wouldn't have been so long if the cashier wasn't talking story to both the customers and co-workers and was very slow to ring up and bag everything. Great deals for kids clothing. I can find everything from tops, bottoms, shoes and accessories. I normally only go when the shirts, shorts or jeans are on sale. Very hip, in style tees. Everything is very affordable. The staff are alright, I have no complaints yet the customer service doesnt really "wow" me either. The store is pretty organized whenever I stop in which helps out a lot. Big kids clothes in front and little kids in the back, with the registers right in the middle. We were sent a gift from Washington for my daughter but it does not fit so I wanted to exchange it. The gift was sent late (not the stores fault) so the gift receipt was no longer valid. They would not let me exchange it because it's not from their store. SERIOUSLY?? Why can't they go into their system and get the lowest price available? Worst customer service from the many times I go in here. So there was a sign that said SHORTS "take addional 75% off". Mind you there was a lot in that area. I go and pay and it's not ringing as 75% off but the cashier says it it's on sale. After purchasing I look at my receipt, and the cashier told me the wrong price, she told me the discount off not the total. So I went back to return, I told her the sign is misleading esp when there's a lot right under the sign. She goes "oh yea we just put it there bc there's no space on the shelf where the others are at" (and points at the other fixture with the other shorts in the same color) smh. My daughter just started ballet so I was just trying to buy some affordable tights. I called them and they were happy to help me. Even offered to put it on the side for me till I came to pick it up. I'm thankful because a lot of other places employees wouldn't go out of their way to help you with something. Especially if it's something small like that. I came in and got a bunch for under $2 which is such a good deal! I also told them that their online store sells it for a cheaper price. One of the workers gladly price matched it for me without any hassle. Too bad the children's place is a little too far for me. Or else I'll be shopping here more often. I've been shopping at the children's place for a very long time and it's sad to see what this store has come too. Ever since they had a new manger the last few years the store just Looks like complete crap it's always messy, dark and feels very unwelcoming for a children's store. The manager shantel always looks so annoyed to be at work and her staff must learn from her cause they don't look anymore happy to be at work either with the exception of a few employees when I been to the store but never when shantel the manager is working. My review today is very concerning especially in these times during covid one I came into the store outside lights in widow aren't working as well as quite a bit of lights in the store like I said very dark and fixtures are so close u can barely get a baby stroller threw the store. Merchandise on walls so packed u try to get something and a it's stuck. My main concern was checking out I observed the cashier as the lady in front of me checked out once she was done the associate grabbed a spray bottle and rag and wiped the counter off. I asked does your store not have disinfectant wipes that's so unsanitary using the same rag over and over after each customer she replied I know but our manager wants us to this I'm so sorry and offered hand sanitizer. What type of manager doesn't care about the health of her employees to use a nasty rag over n over I'm sure this isn't sanitary or part of covid guidelines for a retail store. Not to mention I purchased a bag and the sticker to scan is facing directly into the customers eyes!! Your store has a lot of great items and better management would turn this store around I don't see how this manager has lasted this long especially with all the bad reviews. Best place for kids clothes hands down! Compare their prices to Gymboree, Baby/Kids Gap, Janie & Jack etc and you'll see hands down TCP is the way better deal! Sometimes you even can find better deals than Walmart and at a much better quality of clothing. You can sign up for My Place Rewards free in store. There's no card for the rewards, simply give your phone number at the start of your transaction and earn points on every dollar you spend and use your points for free in store money and get awesome coupons to use on top of their sale prices. I've gotten clothes for under $1 before! 60% additional off clearance + 25% off coupon from the email + $5 off with my points + additional 5% off with their credit card. Yeah the savings add up. They DONT accept Retail Me Not and any other outsider website coupons anymore. This is at their mainland stores too. I guess they all stopped taking outside coupons a few months ago. Just sign up for their emails though and you'll get savings every week. I noticed other reviews saying bad customer service but honestly like EVERY store it depends on who's working that day. Yeah some days there might be a "bitchy" person, and some days you might have outstanding super helpful customer service. Everyone has their good days and bad days. We're all human. If you need something just ask someone and they always try help. Simple as that. Also they DONT accept any returns without a receipt or gift receipt now. This is a national policy change not just Pearlridge. It's now No Receipt, No Return, No Store Credit. You can exchange the SAME thing for a different size though. Which honestly makes sense. ALOT of stores don't take things back without receipts. TCP brand is also sold at Outlets, Ross, TJ Maxx.... You don't know 100% your gift came from THEIR specific location if you don't have a receipt. Stores have to protect themselves against losing money or else they go out of business and that ruins it for everyone that likes to shop there. It's not like they're trying to make it hard for JUST you. Sadly, Pearlridge is now the ONLY Children's Place store as Ala Moana, Waikele and Windward are all now closed down. I know it's the holidays and stores are crowded. People are rushing and throwing clothes everywhere. But it doesn't mean that your employees have to rude and mean. Today, while I was shopping one of your employees (I wish I got her name) she could of been a manager. Well - I hope not. Anyway, she clearly made it known that she was annoyed. Both herself and another employee were expressing how they were sick of re-folding clothes & how it was so hard for them to come into work today. I came here for the first time before Christmas to shop for gifts. First, I will say that they have many cute clothing and accessory items for babies and children! I did find a couple of great items to gift. However, at this time the store was very disorganized with piles of unfolded clothes to dig through, mismatched hangers to clothing of the correct size. There were some shoes/clothes on the ground. The store wasn't crowded but I figured it must have been busy earlier since it was during the holiday season. I dropped by the other day to look for a gift again. The store was again, very disorganized. I used to work in retail and I know it can be tiresome to refold/hang clothes and organize only to have customers come in and mess it up again, but that is just part of the job. This is for an online order shipping to Hawai'i. If i could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrible experience and service overall. Initially shopped online here because of the online sale featuring for Easter and promising that the delivery would arrive on time for Easter. I purchased a total of $100+ dollars in children clothing (purchased with 2 different orders) because they were so cheap and the more you purchase the more $10 coupons you would receive to spend after payment which seemed like a win win situation. The website upon checkout notifies me that it will arrive within 10-15 business days and anticipated delivery date is the Thursday before Easter. I purchased these items in the beginning of March. The week after the anticipated arrival I call the customer service because after tracking my package it seems to not be moving after it arrived in California. The agent tells me to wait till Monday to give it another business day and call back if nothing is received. I called back still nothing and a different agent tells me its 15 business day not including Saturday and Sunday (even though it was shipped out on a Saturday) so too wait another week. Still nothing received and now 2 weeks after Easter. Ive been calling every single day and the time difference only gives me a couple hours to get ahold of them The recording tells you the average wait time is 30 minutes. Every single call i had to wait at least 1 hour or more and I'm not exaggerating!! 3 times someone answered and stated they are now closed and hung up on e=me. So frustrating. Finally yesterday a gentleman said they had to check with the resolution team because they do not know what happen to the package and finally refunded my money. I asked about the second order he said i have to wait another week to see if it will arrive if not then call back and they will refund. I AM NEVER GONNA SHOP AT THE CHILDRENS PLACE EVER AGAIN.. But never did smile. Once I was ready to pay for everything that I bought she just handed me everything that I need to do. No questions like "do you need help with that?" I agree with the previous reviews about this store. Customer service is ABSOLUTELY terrible here. There were 2 workers who both seemed extremely grouchy and unwilling to help us. As I stood at the register, you could hear them arguing about which one of them wanted to ring me up. Seriously? You're working there for a reason - to help customers. It only gets worse... The worker who finally decided to help me, picks up the phone and totally ignores that I'm still standing there at the register waiting for my receipt. She seemed to be talking to a co worker saying that she is unable to take her shift for the next day. I open my bag and she starts digging through it. In the middle of the mall she's digging through my bag. How much more unprofessional can you get!
