Just received my on line order, never fails, right after the soaps go on sale for less. Once you start using these with specialized scents it's hard to go back to bar soap or other brands. Ordered on line some items to be picked up at pearlridge store. Got there when they opened @10am got dropped off on the top level to catch the elevator down to the 2nd floor only to find that elevator was not working. I had my rollator walker so I used the escalator with my walker. Went in and the friendly salesperson took my order number and said proceed to the front. I was the 2nd one in line only to wait for another customer returning items. Good thing for my walker to sit. My reason for adding on the air fresheners is because the girl said because im picking up and online order, I could add on more air fresheners, TODAY, for the price I paid online, which was $1.95. I love Bath and Body Works. I get everything from body care to candles. I frequent the Ala Moana location, but will stop by this one if I'm in the area. This store seems to have more inventory than the Ala Moana one. The tourists in Waikiki go to Ala Moana and buy everything up. They come out with different scents every season. I have so many bottles of cleansers, lotions and sprays. I also have a lot of their candles and candle holders. I always stock up on candle day. It wasn't that busy and the workers didn't offer me a shopping bag. That's ok, I went and got one myself. I had purchased a glass candle holder and candle this time. The cashier did wrap it up nicely for me. I also got a light up pineapple hand sanitizer holder. It's so cute. I love coming in this store. I usually get the soaps or lotions. The hand sanitizers are nice too. You need to shop when there's a sale. I refuse to buy regular priced items here. Just too expensive. The candles were nice size and some smelled really nice. My daughter and her friend kept smelling everything. WARNING!!!! Count your change before leaving if paying by cash. Cashier did NOT give me correct change. She gave me my bills folded in half which was suspicious while saying the correct amount out loud. She did NOT count the change back to me and it was folded in half, which was very weird. I hope she hasn't done this to other customers. When I got home and counted my change and looked at the receipt, which did not match. I called the manager, and she said she will talk to the employee. She asked if she was wearing glasses, etc. - no & no. I gave her the cashier number 3975725. It wasn't a lot that she pocketed, but I just wanted to bring it to the manager's attention. It's the simple principle of not being dishonest and stealing. The manager did offer for me to come back and get the difference, but I just wanted her to be aware. I like Bath & Body Works, but there's something about this store that doesn't make it my favorite location. Maybe this ones a bit cramped. Might be me. I feel like I think I know where things are, then I go in and it's been changed up. Only things I really go in for are foaming hand soaps, sanitizer, and maybe body washes & lotions (only during a sale or when coupons are out). Candles, sprays and plug ins aren't my thing. I looooove me a good candle, but not at these prices. And besides, I'm too afraid having lit candles around anymore. The employees are alright. I hardly ever need any of them for anything, other than checking out. I just remember to pull up my coupons while in line, bring in my sturdy reusable bags and I'm good. Pretty disappointed. Came in for a online order pick up. Whoever set it up miss counted 19. I ordered 20. The girl helping me asked the girl next to her "can I just get another bottle?" I WOULD THINK SO RIGHT!! I did pay for 20 and there is only 19 there. HELLO! The girl told her, "you need to go get the OLD SOAP in the box down there." And the girl left and grabbed the old soap and gave those to me. I was appalled but had no energy to be arguing. Super disappointed though because now the 25 soaps I bought the day before and the 20 soaps I bought that day are completely different colors. And are not in the same packaging. Still debating if I should call and ask for the new bottles so that it matches. I'm using these soaps for a party. And now I'm very annoyed but don't know if I have the energy to drive BACK and fourth. I'm so upset. I don't even really want to go back to this location anymore. It doesn't matter how busy or crazy it is, there's always someone there to help you, greet you, upsell you, what have you! I would've given this a 5-star, but the only thing that I wish they communicated better was their scents/available offerings. My boyfriend absolutely CANNOT live without the Men's Collection Graphite hand sanitizer that we have been searching for, for almost an entire year. I even called up some friends in the mainland to see if they had any, in which they don't. If you folks discontinued this product, fine, but it's giving us false hopes when we see the rest of the Men's Collection available and none of the staff knows when their next order/shipment will be coming in for products. read more

Even prior to Covid, I was always stocked up on the sanitizers and the Fresh Balsam 3 wick candle (Christmas tree scent). Well, we were running low and needed to stock up. The mission was more hand sanitizers for party favors. 10 limit per person. I never take my boys out and this has been our first visit to the mall since probably January lol. I dragged my oldest boy and hubbs along so we could get enough and hubbs made sure I absolutely did not stray into other stores LOL! We stood in a way shorter line than what I seen on Pearlridge's IG story, so wasn't too bad. Once we got near, the staff greeted us, asked how we were doing, explained to sanitize/spray and shop with their B&B bag prior to walking in. I don't enjoy aimlessly walking into stores to "browse" or window shop. When I do "have" to shop, I bee line to where I need to go to said product and instantly out the door asap. Such was the case with my last visit to BBW. Like all the reviewers mentioned, sign up for their emails and you'll get alerted to their sales/specials (some sales are only for a day). I didn't sign up for a subscription since I hate getting junk mail and who really has the time to sort through 8K unread emails? My daughter tells me there's a sale on their candles ($8.50 for the 3-wick, originally $22.00) and I'm off to my annual trip to BBW. I'm there before the security grate is even up and once it's up, rushed in, grabbed a bag and it was I mad dashed for the coveted scents (along with 50 or more people). What? NO LIMIT?!! Heck even better and had me wishing I brought along a cart or a stroller to haul my stash in and since I didn't, I only bought what I could carry. Coming to the store any later than 10am would've meant a longer wait in line but my total time in said store was less than 30 minutes!! Point of the story? When there's a (super) sale - GO!! It's usually worth it and if you're smart you'll hoard items at that sale price. I do know that their candle sale is once a year, usually around Christmas (last year their candles sold for $8.00 and this year it went up to $8.50). Look out for their SEMI-ANNUAL sale as well (I usually send my daughter(s) to brave that madness). I've always gotten great service (during my annual trip LOL) at BBW! I like coming to BBW when I need new handsoaps or looking for gifts. This particular location is very busy so the scents I'm usually looking for can be sold out. I've been loving the new watermelon lemonade scent and it's always sold out! I regularly get email coupons which I can use to get either free items or a significant percentage off my purchase. However I find that i start picking out a lot more things and spending a lot more than I originally intended. Especially when they offer the free totes, I just have to make the minimum purchase! I really like their happiness guarantee, if you don't like what you purchased, you can bring it back and exchange it for something you want. I like to shop this location more than others. But today's my shopping experience was too bad here. When I got in a store each staff said welcome and asked is there anything I'm looking for or they can help. That's regular greeting from them. I picked 6bottles of hand soap and went to check. Nobody front of me. The cashier(black, short, middle age, and with glasses) asked me anybody helped my shopping, I answered no, then scanned purchase and told me total. Then she started talking with her colleagues just leaving, talked talked, and talked. I already prepared cash to give her but she's never stopped. I didn't say anything just looking her and waiting until her talking finish. Finally she found out she was working, but didn't here anything and (she already set for paying credit or debit, so changed setting) grabbed cash from me but I was giving bills and coin-usually such a time I put bills on cashier's hand and put coin on it, but she grabbed bills from me, so the coin fell off on the counter. I put my purchase in my own bag and got change and receipt without any words from her. SIGH.... This store is always busy because they have good sales and who doesn't need hand soap? Been here a million times and don't mind the chaos because I love shopping. They have so many flavors in smell you will want to buy everything! When I walked in, I wasn't greeted by sales person, she greeted everyone except me, it's ok because the other salespeople were exceptionally nice. They have the standard smells but always have new fragrances which is nice because it keeps shoppers interested in their products. You would think all chain stores should be more or less the same but not really. Bath and Body Works is my place for hand soap. I enjoy their variety of scented hand soaps especially during holidays. This is one of those stores you don't need too much assistance I think. You smell the items and if you like them buy them. Well, buying part seems to be the challenge at this particular location. I've been here several times. The cashiers here love to talk even though people were lining up to buy and leave like myself. Don't get me wrong, I love friendly people but common sense will tell you to cut down the chit chat if you see 6 or more people are lining up and you only have 2 cashiers talking life away. Finally, it was my turn, rather than thanking me for waiting, he asked "did anyone help you?" What does that supposed to mean? Some times I get confused by weird questions like that. Do you people work on commission or are you asking just to ask or are you asking if I'm mad? Luckily, one more cashier jumped in to rescue others who were in line. Thank goodness! As i walked in, was not being greeted, walked around a lil bit, usually a worker would approach and say if i needed help from the ala moana store, this location, there were multiple workers, not one of them asked or greeted atleast. Oh Bath & Body, you heavenly assault on my nostrils. I truly have a love-hate relationship with this store because of my stupid ALLERGIES. Every time I walk in, I know I've only got two, MAYBE three good sniffs & then my nose decides it's had enough & plugs itself up. I mostly just purchase foaming hand soaps here; foamy soap always makes me feel very giddy for some reason unbeknownst to me. I also hoard the mini hand sanitizers like no other. Most recently I've become utterly obsessed with their 3wick candles & wallflowers. I like that they offer the same scents in multiple form & that they repackage the same scents for different seasons/holidays. I love that they offer seasonal & themed scents as well. A few months ago there was a Hawaii theme of body products; I fell in love with Waikiki Beach Coconut & since they were running a promo on it (buy 2, get 1 free) I purchased the lotion & body spray & got the body scrub. MODEST: If you choose the red pill, the swift reality is that this store is a much smaller, scaled-down version of the its sister store at Ala Moana. Like the Ala Moana store, this location has 3 rooms or sections, products placed in more or less the same areas/rooms, with the cashiers located in the rear of the store. Discounted items are also located in the same section as the cashier as well. DISPLAY: The store is bright, welcoming, and clean. Sale items and new products are prominently displayed. Although welcoming, since the store is smaller, there is less room to move around the store comfortably, especially when its crowded, as was the case/situation on the day I visited. GLIMPSE: As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Unfortunately, this smaller location has less selection of products/items to behold. I was mostly there to purchase their small PocketBac hand gels, and the selection was not as diverse as the Ala Moana store. ACTION: The customer service was ok. Though no one greeted me, someone did offer to help me, and the cashier was fast, friendly, and polite. BOTTOM LINE: Decent selection in a smaller store. I have been a loyal customer of Bath & Body Works since 2006. I loved to go to the store in Ala Moana. But after I moved to Aiea, the one in Pearlridge Mall is a totally different kind of atmosphere. And recently I had a bad experience. I got the email said "Today Only, all selected aromatherapy $5.95," so I went to the nearest store after a whole day's work. I went into the store and asked the young sales boy whether the aromatherapy on the wall shelves were $5.95. He said yes. So I started to select. When I went to the check-out, I asked the cashier the same question. She said yes again. But when I got my receipt, nine of the items on the list were more than $10. I hope Bath &Body Works can hire some honest sales person to tell customer the truth. read more

My boyfriend and I casually walked into the store just to browse at the new scents, not expecting to buy anything. A woman with purple hair named Jennifer immediately greeted us and took the time to tell us about all the specials they had going on, and even going so far as to telling us to check our email (they had a 20% off coupon emailed out). I was absolutely blown away by how amazing her customer service was. Of course I knew she was trying to up-sell, but she was doing a great job. She would even check up on us multiple times while we were looking to see if we were still doing okay. Of course, we got suckered and ended up using the 20% off coupon as well as some other specials she told us about. I ended up buying a few car fresheners and a body wash ($25 total) and my boyfriend bought some body wash as well ($30 total). We were so blown away by how spectacular Jennifer's customer service was, as we work in customer service too and know how hard it is to keep up the persona. Oh and those bags for your shopper convenience without holding onto those items with your bare hands struggling to get through the waves of people.
