You can get discounted Vera Bradley items at this outlet. Many of the items in this store seemed dated to me. I really didn't see anything that I liked. They didn't have any of their Disney items here, but I did some of the Hello Kitty items. There was a lady who wanted to purchase a Hello Kitty blanket. The worker told her that none of the Hello Kitty items are discounted since it's a trademark collaboration. Why even carry the items at the outlet then if it can't be discounted? The lady put the blanker back and went to look at the other blankets that were discounted. The saleswoman was friendly. She greeted me and asked me if I needed any help. read more

Who has some sort of emotional baggage...well we gotta put it some where! Vera Bradley seriously has it all, totes, backpack, accessories from solids to vibrant prints and holiday vibes not to mention the collaborations with Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars and more! Sadly we lost all our storefront in the local malls but lucky to still have the only location at Waikele Outlet so the prices are so difficult to keep your selections to a minimal. Finding the right item for your self or a gift is such a breeze as they carry so many items at such an insane deal I always walk away with something which is usually for me lol! They staff is so friendly and helpful and the price chart for sale items are listed so that you know exactly what the final price is and with the clean well stock shelves makes it too much fun to get that therapeutic flow going! It's another Aloha Friday and enjoyed a day off shopping at the Waikele Shopping Outlets in Waipahu, Vera Bradley store. Personally, online shopping is great, but today I was super excited to check out the merchandize with the 50-75℅ discounts! So many great styles and patterns to chose from.... I spent more than an hour checking out everything from backpacks, computer, travel, lunch bags, umbrellas, mugs, & blankets. The one thing I really like with Vera Bradley products is simply the quality. Perfectly made with lots of pockets to organize my belongings. Designs are beautiful, the fabric soft, inside lining always beautiful and the sewing is very durable. I've already got a few in my collection now, my favorite is the performance twill quilt that's water repellent polyester ~ sleek and soft. Today, my birthday discount was also honored even if my birthday was last month.. Awesome!! Customer service great! It was time for me to make personal gift and foundation fundraiser purchases. As you walk in, I see their signage of their commitment to the health and safety of their clients. Next to signage is a huge hand sanitizer. I came in time because it was last day 70% off, clearance section was 70% + 20% off. First of all, I'm on a budget because of effects of pandemic. Something nominal within a goodie bag. I got (12) keychain purse with drivers license ID and few credit cards. Of course, one is for me . I purchased some bags for friends and family which were 70% off which made everything affordable. As far a silent auction for a foundation I run, I raided this store, but not the whole stock. But, I was their best customer. Although it's winter colors, you can find your favorite color amongst them. They have so many different bags, colors, and styles. But they have a section of nice leather bags, stationery, calendars, key chains, lanyards, blankets, and bathrobes. You have to come in! If you're overwhelmed, but know what you want? Ask the staff, they will direct you to the spot. They are so accommodating and friendly! They have bags for half price, but can be a gift bag with present in it with fluff of tissue paper around it. Quality products at discounted prices! I was first introduced to the Vera Bradley name by my high school classmate. She loved the colorful patterns and sturdy, lightweight, durable, washable fabric! I can see her point. I noticed that travelers use Vera Bradley tote bags because they're practical. I have a large, zippered tote myself! We have a Vera Bradley outlet right here on the Island of Oahu! If you're a tourist, staying in Waikiki, may I suggest that you catch the free shuttle to this outlet and make your purchases here where the prices are lower and the sales tax in Hawaii is just 4.712 percent! Yes, Waikele Outlet in Waikele has free parking for those of us with automobiles. The air conditioning is refreshing and the service is helpful! The selections are awesome! Besides luggage and purses, there are wallets, umbrellas, flip flops, phone cases, water bottles, covered tumblers with reusable straws, etc. My favorite section is the Clearance area. Located in the Waikele Premium Outlets, took my mom out to buy a new purse. Best to go on a weekday - easy to get parking and store and mall was not crowded at all. The day we went, there was a bog sale! Shout out to Linda for super customer service snd genuine Aloha spirit! She treated my mom with patience, respect snd care as we looked for the perfect bag. When we paid for the purse, she noticed my birthday discount had expired but gave it to us anyway! Thank you! I love this store, but was terribly disappointed by the poor customer service I received. I shopped at the Waikele Outlet yesterday, then decided to go back to purchase other things today. However, when I asked to purchase the medium sized (Pink Vera Bradley tote bags which cost only .15 cents), I was told that I couldn't purchase any because they were running out of it (huh??!). The cashier assisting me had a whole bunch in her hands (she was really nice) & was about to sell a few to me, but the 2nd cashier next to her stopped her from doing so. Stating they "cannot" be sold (?). She kept pushing to sell the big or smaller totes of which I wasn't interested in. I was flabbergasted by that 2nd cashier's flippant attitude. I would've been satisfied with 2 or least an option to compromise. But none was offered. I mean, Hello?! Those bags belong to the store, not you sister! Anyway, the nice cashier that was helping me (who was just as surprised by the 2nd cashier's rudeness), decided to put my items in a "medium" bag. She get's a thumb's up from me & was pleasant til the end. Good job #9165! However, I was still upset & disappointed when I left the store. So I called to speak to the manager & the person who answered said her name was Harmony (one of the store's leads). I'm pretty sure she was the "2nd cashier", because when I explained why I was calling, she pretty much had the the explanation & answer that I was given when I was in the store. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said sorry, they're not in today. I ended the call. Pointless to speak with someone who is a poor representative of Vera Bradley & who is totally clueless as to how important "Your Customers'" rely on the Principles of Good Customer Service. Harmony, if you were "that" 2nd cashier, do better in your work ethics & try not to humiliate or insult Vera Bradley's customers' like you did with me. I call Vera Bradley " The Happy Store", I started shopping here when I received a birthday gift and had to do an exchange for another pattern/color. I was amazed by the many different patterns and colors when shopping here. It is so hard to decide on what patterns as I love them all. There are tons of items here at Vera Bradley, before shopping here I only thought they specialize in bags, which I am wrong. They carry different types of bags, even travel bags, blankets, luggage, jewelry, towels, accessories, tumbler, tags, pens, notebooks, and so much more. My most recent visit was to shop for a matching accessories for my travel bag and also to shop for a gift for a good friend since she is going on a trip and I want her to have the travel bag that I am using. I purchased the bag for my friend and got a tumbler for me. Even the tumbler is so pretty, loved the designs and part of it was green, even better! The service during all my visits was awesome, the staff are very helpful and friendly, always smiling. I was helped by the staff during my visits and got exactly what I needed. If you plan to travel soon or love to travel, I really recommend the travel bag, I have the medium bag and I love it. During a recent trip, it was perfect, I was able to stuff tons of stuff in that bag and there are pockets for the luggage handle, makes traveling so much easier. Besides the bag, the design makes it super fun for traveling. The design makes me so happy! Who is Vera Bradley? Their Memorial Day Sale at their outlet shop at Waikele had a good sale going on: 50% off + 30% off. I found and purchased a regular priced smaller daily back pack of $109 reduced to $39- what a deal! If you love the VB styles and patterns sign up on line to get new or sale notices to stay up to date on when to shop. They may also send info in the mail too. I believe I've also received birthday discounts. I like that the styles are way lighter in weight than other brands. My walk in closet is home to many VB purchases ; it can become an obsession. Both cashiers I encountered were extremely helpful, good matured snd friendly. I was very pleased with my purchases. You can never go wrong with a purchase from VB. I don't care for bags with prints and Vera Bradley is chock full of them (or so I thought), which is why I had to return my strap wallet from here, which I had received as a Christmas present. The workers were a-okay with me making this choice, and gladly offered me an equal exchange. I was even shown around the store to look at the different items available, assisted by my very own "personal shopper," and actually, there were quite a bit of solid-color items. In the end though, I didn't actually have a need for any of their solid-colored strap wallets or bags, so I settled on a cute travel blanket with the signature Vera Bradley print. Didn't even know that they had cute travel blankets with a luggage strap, how nice! Very pleased with my experience here. AWESOMENESS - On Tuesday (day before my birthday) I had a wonderful encounter from this store. I get a personal phone call and voice message from an associate at the Vera Bradley outlet in Waikele. The gentleman called to wish me a HBD (yes, a day early!) and left me instructions to come into the store to pick up my birthday gift. I was flattered and it definitely made me feel extremely special as a customer. I don't know of very many (or any at all anymore) retail stores that do birthday gifts for their customers. Long story short, I went in thinking the gift was going to be just a super small keychain or something....but no. It was a small single compartment cosmetic zipper pouch worth $22!! I even got a choice of 5 different cute prints too which was totally awesome! DEALS - This outlet location also does frequent SALES. There are times when many of the items are 50% off plus an extra 20% on select prints. I was able to snag some gems at this store in the past! The lanyards, keychains, small pouches, clutches, and small wallets make for great gifts! I would go nuts at this place for Christmas shopping.... SERVICE - The employees have always been so friendly and helpful too. Once I found a crossbody bag that I wanted to buy as a gift but the fabric looked a tiny bit distressed on one part. I asked one of the girls working if it was possible to find another one if they had it in stock. She took care of it by asking someone in the back stock room on her earpiece radio. I love that they use these to communicate so it's not always hectic sales associates running back and forth into the stockroom to check for merchandise. Let me start by saying how excited I am that a Vera Bradley Outlet has opened on the Westside of Oahu. I visited this store three times within the last three days and on every visit I have been greeted and welcomed into the store by their friendly sales associates. Today I went there to make an exchange for a purchase my daughter had made last night. As soon as I walked over to where the zip ID cases are a friendly sales associate greeted me. Sorry I didn't get her name, but she did help me to find the pattern I was interested in. During my decision making process another sales associate named Lei helped me to make my choice for my exchange. At the check out Michelle and Sam helped to make the exchange process an easy one. I'm so happy that a Vera Bradley outlet opened in Hawaii! Now I no longer need to go to Las Vegas to do my shopping there. I was amazed with their stock of 70% off merchandise as well as 50% off merchandise in colors that rarely go on sale at the regular stores like solid black. Most of their merchandise comes from the regular store but they did have one print that they said was made exclusively for the outlet. One thing that was annoying though is every turn or movement I made in the store I was bothered by a salesperson. I think I spent only 15 minutes in there and must have been followed around and bothered by all 5 salespeople. They even stared at me taking photos and while I quickly put my bag that I was gonna buy down on the table next to me, not even 15 seconds passed and they swiped it away. Geez. So a great place to shop as long as you can put aside that you'll be hounded and watched like a hawk in the stores. They also kept staring at my old Vera Bradley to make sure I wasn't walking off with one of their bags. For me I'll put up w the salespeople so I can get a great deal. Then, I ran into him on Saturday while we both stood in line to purchase merchandise (He was not working at the time.) When I left the store, he smiled at me and said, " Bye Ma'am have a great day." I thought that was very nice of him to say that even though he was off the clock. I couldn't believe that he went out of his way to treat me that way. Now that is , "Exceptional Customer Service!" As of my 2013 low review of the Ala Moana Shopping Center Vera Bradley store, I haven't been back there. I had fun shopping at the VB outlet in Las Vegas, but wasn't able to buy all that much, since then I'd have to carry it home my already-full luggage. I was really excited to learn that the Vera Bradley at Waikele Premium Outlets later opened in around 2015. If you're on the Vera Bradley email lists, you'll get an advance email of what the specials are for the store, and that's the time to go and shop! The deals range from 50% off selected items, to 50% off + 20% off selected items, and my favorite (that I know of), 50% + 30% off entire store. There may be additional deals, but those are the ones that catch my eye. Sometimes even after I get home and am removing price tags, I still can't believe the great deals I scored. Tip: when you register on their website, put down your birthday, and you'll get a special coupon around that time! Vera Bradley makes everything from cosmetic bags to laptops sleeves, lunchbags to fuzzy oh-so-soft blankets, rubber slippers, beach blankets, umbrellas and even luggage (tired of getting your bag confused with everyone else's black suitcase? I hear they're very sturdy, too!). True to their brand, most of the products are very brightly multi-colored, but they also have some less colorful, and even some solid items. Most of the items are also machine washsable, and now that I've finally washed a few of my items according to the directions on the label, I can verify that they do come out looking great! I love to shop here for gifts that I wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford to give without the sale deals. They're great about giving gift receipts, too. The store is super organized, clean, very well air-conditioned (bring a sweater if you're staying long) and customer service is awesome. Even if you think nobody noticed that you picked up a display item, there's a good chance a salesperson will approach you and ask you if you'd like them to pull a new bagged version from the back for you. My Dad likes to tag along with us to Waikele from time to time, and he even likes the little sitting area they have in one corner of the store just for folks like him--he says that the seats are very comfortable, and he's teeny and OLD! A friend of mine (and also regular VB shopper) noticed that one of the best sales people from the Ala Moana moved over to the Waikele location. She's so awesome and we're glad she's there! read more

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE TODAY. I have the Waikele VIP on my my phone where Vera Bradley has a coupon if you buy $75 then you can receive a free shopping bag. The sales rep said that they don't accept the online coupons. WELL IF YOU DON'T ACCEPT THE ONLINE COUPONS THEN WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUR STORE ONLINE! The sales reps were very hostile and refused to honor their own coupons online. I will not be coming back here again and will purchase my Vera Bradley goods elsewhere. This is only the second time I have walked into a Vera Bradley store. Last year I went in and found some bags I was debating about and then regretted not getting later down the road. They have a lot of different patterns and pretty items. I ended up picking up a smaller quilted purse and a bigger quilted bag for 70% off in the clearance items. It's a great deal. Also when we were paying they asked if we were military. They apparently have a military discount which is nice. Overall 2 bags ended up costing about $20-30 each which is pretty good considering the regular retailed price. They also had a special with specific patterns were 50% off and additional 20% off. I starts with the General Manager. When you have a good leader it reflects in the staffs performance and customer service. Genuine customer service is hard to come across these days. Just take a shopping trip to Vera Bradley and you'll see what I am talking about. The ladies take the time to figure out what fits you and what color options are available. They are extremely tentative to your needs and style. The staff here is very proud of their brand and holds high regards to their brand. I cannot tell you how proud I am to be a Vera Bradley customer at the Waikele location. When you're figuring out what type of product to buy I like that the employees makes small conversation with you to figure out what product they can match to your needs. The manager even took the liberty of looking up my previous purchase to figure out how to assist me in today shopping experience. Tell me if that's not amazing customer service.
