These people seem too busy for their own good. We were matched with this installation service when we bought items from Best Buy. The owner called the day before scheduled installation and said he needed to push back our time and I told him I didn't want to hear that. The order was made weeks ago. He blamed the issue on Best Buy. I scheduled time off on a Friday to be at home for this. Friday: they are on the north shore all day but they say they'll come late in the day, 6 pm. Long story short they call very late to say they'll be over at 9 pm! I call their bluff and say OK, come on over. A call later: oh we will be there at 10 pm or so... uh, yeah right. Eventually they say they will come the next day. They come and install the fridge but crack a tile (we notice this after they leave). They don't follow up with me after contact about the crack. It's only due to a subsequent (and incomplete) 2nd installation that I get the owner back to our home to address everything. Unfortunately he arrives at the end of the day with his pushy girlfriend/ "CFO". The CFO pushes the tile repair responsibility on us to find a tile to replace the cracked one, all the while insinuating that we are not being truthful about ODMIS' fault in the matter. Worst installations not just ever, but worst imaginable considering their relationship with Best Buy. Ben, don't even bother writing a response to this review. You never got back in touch with us to make things right. We ended up replacing the floor at our own cost. read more

I think it would be impossible for Ben to get anything less than a five star review. No matter what the project, he is impeccable and reliable. His pricing is very fair! I hired him last February to install a Jenn Air down draft stove. I live in a small village on the northeast side of Oahu and he prepared a quote and kept his word without making me feel bad that it took much longer than he expected. It was a very sophisticated job and he is up for the task. He is very knowledgable and organized. I enjoyed seeing the teamwork between himself and his assistant. The person who came in to do my estimate is no longer with the company. Once I had received the estimate, I made a verbal commitment to use ODMIS. They said once I received my appliance, they would schedule me in an installation date. I called 4 times to have someone else come in and do my installation, but not one call was returned. Spoke to a woman the first time and gave her all my information. She said someone would call me back that day. No call. Left a message on 3 separate occasions, still no callback. Poor poor customer service. You should purchase your appliances from someone other than Best Buy if you are going to need installation of your product. Very bad at installing Best Buy items. came 3 times and no waterline install for my refrigerator. Excuse after excuse. Out $ from taking off work for install. Always late. Scheduled for morning and always come after the allotted time period. Came for installation assessment and agreed to do the work and said they would call to make an appointment. No call for a month and I always have to call best buy to see what the problem is. finally got them to come back and they tell me they cannot do it the way it was supposed to be done because the people that did the assessment were no longer with the company and by there new policy they are not allowed to do it that way any longer. I briefly spoke to Ben a couple of times over the phone, pleasant guy to talk to, of moving an item from a person's place of where I was purchasing it from and to the delivery location. However, I understand he's busy on or heading to a job, but he has never returned any of my phone calls/messages. When we finally spoke, I gave him the item descriptions (size and weight), and was quoted that it'll be no more than $200. We all finally agreed on the date and time for the pick up/delivery. Traffic was extremely heavy that day, so I understand them arriving late. Contacting Ben several times, he finally mentioned at the last minute that he wasn't coming but rather only his workers. He then gave me their number, but regardless, the workers were almost there. As they assess the item, the workers didn't bring any equipment to safely transport it to their truck nor had any idea how big and heavy of an item it was. Though it wasn't the workers fault but rather Ben, who only mentioned to them that it was an easy job, didn't even bother showing the pictures I sent nor communicated the description to his employees. The result: scratches on a $2000 item and an overcharged quote of $50. Ben didn't take me seriously as a customer and simply took advantage of my situation. Both workers, respectful and hardworking, were awesome and I appreciated they did their best. read more

Did a professional job once they got here, but was 30 minutes late and took about 4 hours to complete job. Did not receive discount like I told I would if I paid by check instead of using my debit card like I wanted to. I guess Ben didn't want to pay the merchant fee for me paying by debit card. If you need help moving ODMIS is the best!! First, Ben is extremely helpful and professional. I had another moving company scheduled and they cancelled on me the day before. I called ODMIS and they were at my house bright and early the next morning. Second, Ben and 1 mover unloaded a 40' container in 3 hours. These guys are pros and don't fool around the job. This review is long overdue.. We needed a sectional couch to be delivered from Ala Moana to Makiki area. It was a holiday and we got one moving company come and try to deliver, but they couldn't get the large sectional out of the door and decided to just leave it at the door and go. Then we found ODMIS from a google search and Ben responded very politely and arrived within minutes even though it was his day off. That couch was in our house that day and no complaints from the mover. Great service! Fast, friendly, and professional. My wife and I needed someone to move some furniture we bought from Lanikai into Manoa on very short notice. I called ODMIS. Ben and his team were there within the hour. They wrapped all of our furniture with moving blankets and plastic wrap to make sure nothing was damaged, and took their shoes off when entering our home each time. I am very pleased that I hired ODMIS to remove my Subzero and install my new refrigerator. Ben and his team arrived on time and were knowledgeable and efficient. The whole procedure went more quickly and smoothly than I thought possible. The team worked well together, their attention-to-detail was impressive: 1. sturdy plastic mats to protect the hardwood floor; 2. cleaning the floor after the old refrigerator was pulled out; 3. measuring to insure that the new refrigerator was perfectly centered and level; 4. using some of the Trim Kit from the old refrigerator to enhance the appearance of the new refrigerator by making it appear more built-in to the cabinetry; 5. hand polishing the interior and exterior of the refrigerator after installation. Amazing service! Our dishwasher installer Troy I think is his name went above & beyond making recommendations on what parts we need in order to stop a leak unrelated to his install. A week later when a new leak up. I called him and he came right over. He totally took a look and again it was not related his install. It was a broken faucet which he found the leak and told me what I needed to do to repair it. I highly without a doubt recommend this company. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! They saved me when someone else failed! I met Ben the owner and his employee (Sorry...forgot his name) when they came over. It was a last minute request to help me get a 250 pound crate to my 3rd floor unit in a 3 story walk up. They were prompt, and went right to work using moving straps to get my crate up the stairs. Upon them getting the crate inside, I noticed that there were special type of screws used to secure the crate and I did not have the proper bit to unscrew the MANY screws. Well,,,,wouldn't you know it, Ben saved my day again! He had the bit in his truck and helped me to remove the item from the crate. He then took down another heavy item that was on a stand for me, and put the new item on the stand without hesitation. These guys took care in moving items in the way without breaking anything, and knew exactly how to get the job done. Everyone else quoted me SUPER RIDICULOUS prices on a short move, but Ben offered me a VERY reasonable price even if it was a last minute job,. If you ever need moving done, use these guys.
