    Texas Ruben sandwich special
    Jonathan E.

Texas Ruben, Cornbeef was very tender, juicy and flavorful. Sauce was tangy in comparison to a typical Ruben. Bread was quickly absorbing the juices so difficult to really taste bread qualities. Visually not as appealing as a typical Rye swirl. Slaw was a vinaigrette, fresh however dis not separate itself from any other establishments. The BBq was great, they sure do know how to do their meat. Service was great, friendly and working hard at a lunch rush. The rest of the meal didn't keep up and then the cost. $26 for a small sandwich took away from the over all experience and for me at that price my expectations are higher. Drink selection is very limited. Total cost for one lunch could have feed the family at home.

Amazing food and customer service, we were continuously checked in on. Not a single thing we didn't like! The energy inside is lively but not overwhelming.

    BBQ Half Chicken

I was not impressed. My husband's tri tip was perfect, but my half chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. If the temperature gauge was 165, then the meat tasted uncooked. The BBQ sauce was great. The broccoli salad is very tasty. Service was quick they had some side items that were interesting. Pickled radishes and extra BBQ sauce. You bet I took some of those. There is a bartender for mixed drinks which I'm not used to at a BBQ place. I would have liked craft beer and French roll for a tri tip sandwich and a game to watch on a big screen tv. Many large groups come in and reserve tables. Go early on their two days they are open for service. Or take food to go.

Buttery, fluffy dinner rolls. Build a slider with the ample portion of BBQ.

We finally got our hands on the brisket from Odell tonight. It was worth the wait. Here's what you need to know: 1. The restaurant is only open on Thursday and Friday. Check hours for seasonal changes. 2. Brisket is only available on Fridays. 3. They WILL sell out hours before closing. That's what kept tripping us up until the very nice staff shared the secret ... 4. Go to the website and place a pre-order. In the comments field say "Dine in" if you want to eat there. We got it to go and it was perfectly packed and delicious.

We were greeted by a basket of warmed french bread and a ramekin of butter Tyler brought to our table. He's pleasant man who wasn't new to food service, friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings. I thought he'd probably started back a bit in that kitchen. He was fun and did an excellent job for us and his other tables. We finally settled on our refreshments, M took a Cowboy Lemonade in a tall (pint) glass and I went with a strawberry iced tea. Mine was great just a hint of the strawberry and not sweet. M ordered a Rib Eye Taco's appetizer, I had my go to with my goto 1/2 baby back ribs. my sides were garlic french fries (2.99) baked beans are automatic and the "endless" salad with house-made blue cheese dressing. We shared the bowl of salad that you add a good amount of dressing and toss it till you're happy with the outcome. I forgot to say no croutons so I scooped those off. We shared the salad, probably a rule breaker but one bowl was enough. We waited awhile for the entree, I didn't watch the clock. We are on a holiday road trip to Oregon and needed a break. Dinner arrived brought out by another server or expediter, I like that practice. Thank you. 1/2 a rack there was a good layer of meat on the top of this rack, it was heavy and plenty enough for me. Fries a bit weathered but done right, could have been hotter. M re-prepared her taco's having me take the sliced jalapeños off the plate and she added some of my pork to her taco. I didn't clear my plate, I'd had my fill no need to overdoit. Dessert yes please, all are made in house a real treat. However; excess is not a sustainable diet plan... Thanks Tyler a great experience for us. Cheers Foodguy-martin

We have yet to have a bad experience here. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. We typically order the jalepeno poppers which is spicy and creamy all together. There's always that one popper though that is way spicer then the rest and it is a fun surprise when one of us gets it. The steaks all together are cooked the way you like it. We always order medium rare and each time it is cooked just like so. The sides are your normal sides- will say it is your average- Ceasar is one of the go-tos and it's great everytime. Same with the baked potato. Our favorite though, has to be the rolls! With the delicious butter. They are definitely bigger than some of the competitors. And we always ask for some extra for our take home cause we can never finish our meal because we get so stuffed. The establishment is normally busy when we go in. But are always seated within less than 10 minutes. The decor is like your roadhouse with graphics, old school posters and decals. See you soon Logan's!

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)
