The only place that beats this in my opinion is in Whistler and it's probably because you sit on the floor and they make saki margaritas. Heh. The Samurai roll is absolute heaven, seriously. Do yourself a favor and order this one for sure. The waiter we see the most is super friendly, always makes us feel special and the drinks never go empty! It's a bit pricy but once you taste the food you completely understand why. You most definitely get what you pay for here! They bring your food out on these awesome wooden boats, complete with seascape decorations! Oh, and the chef makes a panda out of a freakin orange! How cool is that?? I love this place!! This place definitely gets two thumbs up!!! I'm always on the look out for a good sushi spot on the east side and I think I've found it. The staff is very friendly and the place doesn't have that fishy smell like other places that I've been to. They have a pretty big menu of assorted things to choose from but I was not here to order ala carte, I was here because the wifey told me that they have an all-you-can-eat menu so I said "bring it on". I mean for $24 all-you-can-eat sushi is a steal especially if you're like me and can eat mountains of sushis. So the selection of things on the menu you could choose from you would think wouldn't be so many but it really surprised me when there was a front and back list of everything I could choose from and believe me when I say that I tried to order EVERYTHING. I had a little bit of everything from raw rolls like spicy tuna and Philly York to some cooked ones like a calamari roll and tempura shrimp. All together I had a total of seven different rolls that were all delicious. I definitely got my money's worth lol!! I'll admit it, I'm a very picky sushi eater. The conveyer belt sushi is not for me. So when this place opened up nearby I was excited to try it. The first time my husband and I went we tried the all you can eat. We went hungry and left over stuffed with delicious, fresh, hand rolled sushi. But it was too much, especially for date night. So we went back last night for Valentine's Day. What a treat. I ordered the Samurai roll (there pecans in it!) and he got tempura fish tacos. I come from Vancouver bc and all you can eat is known there. I've been trying to find a place that serves this here in Washington and finally I have found oceano. Fabulous flavours. It doesn't need all those sauces that over kill the taste of the actual rolls. Many choices and different ideas. Loving the chefs and owner there. Very friendly and have many ideas for their special rolls. Fish are fresh. Food is amazing. So amazing that me and my cousins came back the next day! I could eat here literally everyday. I'm really glad I found this place. I knew I had to check it out after reading all of the great reviews. I'm usually not one for all you can eat sushi, but they offer great fresh fish, and they cut it as you order it. Not only is the nigiri excellent (no sashimi for all you can eat), but they also have creative and delicious rolls. A lot of sushi joints in the area just have 9 different variations of the California Roll, but they actually have some great fresh combos. One of my new favorite restaurants. Went back last Friday because I was really in the mood for Sushi again. This time I started with the all you can eat right away while the wife ordered Miso Soup, Dragon Balls, and the tempura sampler thing (forgot the name). Man, that woman loves her some Dragon Balls... All told I probably had between 34-40 pieces of fish. Confirmed that you can not order Sashimi with the AYCE. No rolls this time at all. The salmon, tuna, red snapper, and especially scallops were all terrific. All of the rest was quite good. We had the same waitress as last time. She is sweet and nice. I don't understand how this restaurant is rated 4.5 stars. First of all, the service was poor in that the waitress was AWOL for awhile. Food was ok but nothing to write home about and quite expensive. There was some horrible techno music that literally gave me a headach. Was very disappointed. Last Saturday night we had reservations for13 to celebrate my birthday. We were all on time at 6:00 and were seated promptly. We waited 20 mins to place our drink orders and another 30 mins to place our dinner orders. Drink orders were messed up. The food came out at all different times with two guests not getting any food at all until the rest of us were finished! Two of our party didn't get their ordered sushi rolls at all! The hot food was lukewarm. The chicken teriyaki had minimal chicken pieces, lots of red peppers, and way too much overly sweet sauce. It was a nightmare when it came to paying. The checks were hand written with prices but no mention of the items. We just had to guess which ones went to which party! I inquired as to what I was actually paying for and the girl scribbled notes next to the prices. She tried to charge us for rolls we didn't receive. Another girl then came to collect our payments and informed us that they would only take 3 credit cards (there were a total of four paying parties)! That's nuts! My hubby put two of the bills on his credit card to end our ordeal. As we were leaving they brought out a birthday plate for me but sadly all my family had left! It was disappointing as we spent over $400 for an unsatisfactory experience. Oh and by the way, they add a 25% gratuity to your bill! read more

Today was our first time at Oceano's. We were blown away with everything. The owner was our server and did an amazing job. Not once did we get to the bottom of our glass before we got refills. I have tried sushi from Bellevue to Canada and this is the best place I have found closest to Marysville. They have great rolls, service, presentation, sushi etc..... It truly is worth exploring. What a beautiful experience! In every way. The food was gorgeous of course, and delicious. The service was impeccable. We stopped at nearly the end of a long day of driving and sight seeing on the peninsula, my 14 year old grandson, my daughter and my 3 year old grandson. The interior is classically Japanese in its cleanliness and simple beauty. That honestly concerned me a little at first with our slight bedragglement and a small child. We were warmly welcomed, and well cared for. The little one was brought his milk in a lidded cup. The rolls, including the Mt. Rainer, which our server recommended, and was amazing, came in a wooden boat that included an orchid arrangement. My husband and I had the all you can eat. The Godzilla, pink lady, volcano, the geisha, all great rolls. My favorite was the geisha which combines potstickers and scallops, my personal favorites. On food alone I would give them 5 stars, however the waitress was horrible. She constantly disappeared. There were 3 sushi chefs just standing behind the sushi bar with nothing to do because one out of the two waitresses kept disappearing. This is the third time I've ate at oceano and after this experience I will never come back. Apparently today was their reopening since they have been closed for renovations. So obviously it is going to be busy which is understandable... To an extent. Was in this restaurant for close to 3 hours and most of that time was waiting to get our food. Waiter did not check up on us, water was left empty for over an hour.. It took me about 30 minutes to flag someone down and ask for my water and I still had to wait for that. On top of the horrible customer service I received they overcharged me!!! I am extremely upset about the experience and I advise my fellow Yelpers to stay away. read more

Even though the atmosphere, the service, the decorations and the desserts were really nice here, their sushi should not deserve the four and half stars rating on Yelp. The rice was too stiff and felt like they didn't cook it through. The sushi fell apart when I was trying to dip it in soy sauce.
