3.75 but I'll round up. The reviews here weren't the best but the dining room had about four parties so my friend and I wanted to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was courteous and attentive. I ordered the vermicelli with beef and shrimp. The beef had a little more fat on it than I would have liked but the flavors were good and balanced. If I'm craving Vietnamese and in the area again, I would stop for a quick bite.

BBQ Pork fried rice with two egg rolls and Thai iced tea

I stopped here for a quick meal before going to the movie theater across the street. I decided to keep things simple. I ordered an appetizer and some fried rice with pork. The egg rolls were OK. (This is not a Chinese place so the textures and flavors might be a little bit different than what you might expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant. This is a Vietnamese restaurant so if you wanna choose the best dishes, choose Vietnamese cuisine.) The dining area is pretty small. There are several tables that could fit a group of four or possibly put two tables together to fit a group of eight. The server was nice and helpful. I had no complaints there. The portion of my fried rice was very generous. That was a nice surprise altogether I ordered three items and it cost me about $25. That still feels expensive to me, especially when I didn't order anything fancy I had egg rolls and fried rice and a Thai iced tea. Nonetheless, at some point you start to say to yourself this food is like street food. It was never designed to be expensive like this. Why are they charging so much in this post pandemic world ? In summary, my experience was pretty good. The food was decent. I would order the rice again. I didn't really care for the eggrolls, though the Thai iced tea was good. The price was kind of high, but the portion of the fried rice was very generous. I would rate this place at about a 3.5. If they reduce the menu prices just a bit I would probably bump it up to a four, but I don't feel like I paid what that meal was worth.

small hair on tendon and hair i removed from the same piece on the napkin

i tried this pho today for the first time via uber eats, the thought itself is OK. It's not the best I've ever had but it will do. It's hard to find a good for place because I just moved into the area. I had an issue with the containers that they bring the food in. it is a bowl that the broth is in, but in the same container is the raw meat and the noodles. My concern was the raw meat was sitting above the hot broth so when I touched the raw meat, it was EXTREMELY warm. i ended up boiling it all right away because of that, so hopefully i don't get sick. Also, i ordered tendon, and this is the first time i've ever seen hairs on my tendon. not sure if i will order here again.

Diane and I ate lunch here for the first time. I ordered Vegetarian Egg Rolls and a beef-broth-based Filet Mignon & Shrimp Pho, and she had a requested chicken-broth-based Filet Mignon & Shrimp Pho. We both liked our dishes. But the Sweet & Sour Sauce served with the Egg Rolls was not fruity or sweet enough. We received plenty of sprouts, mint, and Jalapenos to dress up and further season our large bowls of Pho, and the several strands of cooked noodles inside added to the enjoyment of them. The beef was lean and tender, and the shrimps well cooked. Service was good, except Diane's bowl first came out with onions that were requested to be kept off her Pho. Seating was at servicable but rather spartan tables and chairs. The restaurant was well lit, and it was comfortable until new arriving diners opened the entrance door, and gusts of cold wind blew inside. XXX-1/2 overall this first time around!

First timer here to pick up an order to go. Parking was limited but I managed to find a spot in a timely manner. The place itself is pretty small inside, and the counter is straight ahead once you enter. I got the filet mignon pho and some chicken wings. The pho was good but the wings were pretty bad. The flavor of the sauce for the wings was great.. but that all goes out the window when the chicken tastes dry and rubbery. On top of that.. the service was just ok. Looked like the woman in charge came to deliver my order to me. Just a "here you go" with no eye contact and when I said thank you, just silence as she walked away. A smile and some kindness goes a long way.. especially when the food is just "meh".

We came in an hour and a half before closing and were seated quickly. We got menus, utensils and even water without asking. First thought was "wow they have stepped up their game". I've already been here a couple times, usually with a gentleman in the front helping. Unfortunately he wasn't there that night. Very poor service from the staff and no inclination of trying to help make the night go smoothly. I had a question about the filling in the fried wontons that couldn't be answered until 10 minutes later. Only to be told it was cheese filled, placed my order to then be told it was a combination of pork, crab, and cheese. Though the restaurant is small, it's neat and clean cut. Modern black decor with nice light fixtures. As for the restrooms I don't have a clue if they're clean or not. The menus are nice but doesn't list anything. It only has the number of the dish, the name of the dish in English and underneath that the name of the dish in Vietnamese. This location is in Redlands, made up of predominantly non Asian folks. I would of thought that the menus would of had a better explanation of at least what items make up the dish. Makes it easier on folks who are looking out for allergies. We placed an order for three rice dishes but yet a bowl of Pho showed up at our table. It seemed as though our waitress got the numbers confused. Staff here should really use a notepad or an ordering sheet so they won't confuse dishes. The rice dishes came with too much rice and little meat. The meat was dry and color was lighter than what's expected for the certain grilled meat. On top of that, there was a black hair on one of the rice dishes. Along with that, we ended up adding an appetizer--black peppered fried chicken with lime. But when I bit into it, it smelled too much like old chicken and all it tasted like, was lime. While we were there for over an hour, no one came to check up on us or to fill our water. There were two staff members in the front and there were only two tables with customers. I don't get why we couldn't have been checked on. I understand that I asked quite a few questions during my visit, but that shouldn't have stopped a staff member from trying to make my visit as enjoyable as possible. There are more authentic Vietnamese cuisine restaurants in the area, I'll go to a more old school one where I know I'll get better service, and better food quality. Ps. While I was there, I was wondering why I didn't get a bowl of broth with my rice dish, I thought maybe it didn't come with it. I looked up the menu online and it said it does come with it. We never got ours.

Standard, good pho. Broth is a little bit on the sweeter side but it's easily balanced out by adding lime.

What an amazing experience!…read more I was looking online for a good Vietnamese restaurant, and there were several options around the area. At the end, my party decided on Pho Viet -- based on reviews, menu items, and proximity. We ordered several items: the fried egg rolls were amazing! They were filled to the brim and served with some lettuce, cucumber, and a daikon carrot slaw. They were an absolute HIT! Personally, I love a good Birds Nest (that's what it's called where I'm from). Here, it's called the "Stir Fried Beef, Chicken, Shrimp With Mixed Vegetable With Crispy Egg Noodle". It is a great portion to share with 2-4 people! The sauce was good and they were generous with the portion options on top. The rest of my party ordered the pho and they said it tasted rich, clean, not heavy, and perfectly seasoned! Service was great, too; we were the only ones in the restaurant and after ordering, I kid you not but entire order was on our table in less than 5 minutes! I was hesitant at first, but all the food was fresh-to-order. No microwave/under the heat lamp food here! So glad to have discovered this hidden gem in the Redlands! The restaurant itself is very spacious with tons of seating, but that honestly made it feel awkward. No music, no vibe--just a big TV in the middle playing a Vietnamese food channel. Interior was average, nothing memorable. Service was okay. The server told us to sit anywhere, brought menus right away, and then the food came out WAY TOO FAST, which immediately felt off. When the pho arrived, the noodles were overcooked and hard. And honestly felt like it might've been someone else's order that got handed to us. That alone was off-putting. As you can see in my video, there was no steam coming off the pho, meaning the broth wasn't even hot. The broth was... eh. Not rich, not flavorful, just a very mediocre blend. Nothing comforting or standout about it. I don't have a photo, but the egg rolls were also overcooked and disappointing. No lettuce or pickled carrots/radish on the side either, which is a big miss for me since that's how I like to eat them. Also, don't be fooled by some of the Yelp reviews. Especially the ones with 1-2 reviews. Feels very friends-and-family fake reviews. And a lot of "best ever" praise, yet most of them don't even talk about the pho. Just banh mi, spring rolls, Vietnamese crepe, or rice porridge. And one guy claiming this is the best pho out of LA and OC? Come on. That one definitely felt like a family member. First impression? Probably won't be back. There are way better pho spots around that are actually worth the visit.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.
