Combo B kung pao and Japanese chicken
Cecilia A.

The food arrived hot. It was Japanese chicken and kung pao chicken with rice and chow mein. The Japanese chicken was orange chicken. I never ordered from here and saw this on the menu so I thought I would try it. The kung pao was very good crispy fresh vegetables. No peanuts. Kung pao is my favorite, this one is very good but it lacked pea so my review is low because of it. The cream cheese won tons were good and came with a little bag of sweet and sour. As far as service I ordered thru door dash.

Don't let the rundown shopping plaza scare you away. Food is tasty, fresh and inexpensive.

FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD! This is absolutely disgusting & when I had informed the cashier about this atrocity she became very verbally abusive & refused me a refund. They were very disrespectful & foul mouthed, apparently I am not the first customer they have mistreated. I later discussed this with a friend that works in health inspection to find out they had RATS IN THEIR KITCHEN. Do yourself a favor & avoid eating here & avoid potential food poisoning. THIS PLACE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY. Disgusting service/employees. @Jeff Thank you for further proving my point, disrespectful/aggressive..not even an apology let alone a refund. I think you're the one that needs to learn how to lie because I was not there on 2/6/18, I was there a couple days prior. So I'm very curious as to what "footage" you supposedly have. Moreover, it's not false information if I am sharing MY personal experience and information that was presented to me. This is a public platform where everyone can share their thoughts, opinions, experiences etc. I personally don't like hair or pests in or around my food but to each their own. Not everyone will have positive reviews for your establishment. If your sanitation was up to par I would've left a better review. Try being more professional & kind when treating your customers. Have a nice day.

The cashier was super smart in dividing our bill to give us the opportunity to get senior pricing and also use our coupons. (Thank you!!) The workers are constantly stopping by your table to remove the dishes off your table. I like that as it consistently gave our table room to go for 2nds or 3rds! The restaurant itself is pretty much set up exactly like how Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes used to be. It is clean and super busy environment. Parent with kids letting them run wile, please watch your kids. I saw one child who almost ran into a parent w/a tray that had 4-5 bowls of soup. Another child walked out of the restaurant and someone brought that child back in to find her parents! As for drinks? The beverage station is Pepsi product (i remember it being Coke products) Lemonades, milk and coffee. We wish we had a Soup n Fresh in the SouthBay!

The menu is basically a "pick your Asian craving" situation -- Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai -- all in one spot. Perfect for when nobody in the group can agree on what they want. I've tried multiple dishes and here's the honest take: everything's been good... just not "cancel-my-plans-I-need-this-again-tomorrow" good. I'm still waiting for that wow factor dish. But to be fair, nothing has flopped either. It's consistent. It's affordable. It hits the craving. Not elite. Not legendary. But solid enough to earn 4 stars. Would I come back? Yeah. Squeeze of lemon gives it a pop of flavor and brings down the heat. I also had the ramen, not the tonkatsu or the miso, I forgot the name. But it's one of the 3 most popular ramen. Clear broth. It was fantastic! The broth was delicious, the noodles were soft and tasty, I hadn't tasted noodles like that before. I ordered pork as my protein and honestly, that elevated the already delicious dish. The pork was charred, either by intention or accident but it transformed the ramen. Most other ramen shops have boiled pork, this had a great char that changed the flavor of the pork and ramen. The price is reasonable and I would come back here. The service was excellent as well. Everyone was very attentive, and gave you space as well. They gave suggestions and brought out the spice tray to add as much as you'd like. The Serrano chili salsa in there was delicious. The ambience reminds me of Japan. Wooden chairs and table, very reminiscent of some of the ramen shops in Japan. The place looked clean, even if the exterior looked a tad bit questionable. But that's the great thing about socal eateries. You never know what hidden gem you'll find. Overall, I would return and I would recommend.

Service was friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout. Overall, it's a really reliable spot if you're craving ramen. I'd come back and try more of the menu.

Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well executed........we cleared every plate. What really stood out was the service. Honestly, I don't always expect standout service at Asian spots (and I say that as someone who is Asian), but this place went above and beyond. There were multiple servers helping throughout, bringing food, refilling drinks, checking in, and everyone was genuinely friendly and attentive. As someone who waited tables for years, that level of service really stood out. They even brought us complimentary egg tarts since they were closing soon, which was a nice touch. You can also watch the dumpling makers through a glass window, which adds to the experience and gives off slight Din Tai Fung vibes, but without the long drive.
