Pho Highland was just... mid. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was basically empty except for one other group. The restaurant itself is very spacious with tons of seating, but that honestly made it feel awkward. No music, no vibe--just a big TV in the middle playing a Vietnamese food channel. Interior was average, nothing memorable. Service was okay. The server told us to sit anywhere, brought menus right away, and then the food came out WAY TOO FAST, which immediately felt off. When the pho arrived, the noodles were overcooked and hard. And honestly felt like it might've been someone else's order that got handed to us. That alone was off-putting. As you can see in my video, there was no steam coming off the pho, meaning the broth wasn't even hot. The broth was... eh. Not rich, not flavorful, just a very mediocre blend. Nothing comforting or standout about it. I don't have a photo, but the egg rolls were also overcooked and disappointing. No lettuce or pickled carrots/radish on the side either, which is a big miss for me since that's how I like to eat them. Also, don't be fooled by some of the Yelp reviews. Especially the ones with 1-2 reviews. Feels very friends-and-family fake reviews. And a lot of "best ever" praise, yet most of them don't even talk about the pho. Just banh mi, spring rolls, Vietnamese crepe, or rice porridge. And one guy claiming this is the best pho out of LA and OC? Come on. That one definitely felt like a family member. First impression? Probably won't be back. There are way better pho spots around that are actually worth the visit. read more

This is my favorite Pho they are authentic. Their spices are just delicious. The services is excellent. They really make you feel comfortable and they give you plenty of vegetables and if you want plenty of jalapeño, whatever you ask, they are very accommodating. Their fried rice is good. Spacious dining area with lots of tables. Service was quick and we ordered by the number on the menu. The pho dishes were good (we've had better and worse). The chow fun (wide noodles) was mostly vegetables rather the chow fun and the overall taste was blend. The Korean short rib beef was very tasty and the best of our four selections. read more

I have only tried the pho and bahn mi's so far but they are delicious! The mild broth that another review mentioned is delicate flavored. The flavors are on the table and you add fish sauce, chili oil and brown sauce, to taste along with the fresh lime and herbs. Tear up your basil! I get bahn mi to go and they hold great until the next day no problem. Pho Highland is a hidden treasure. read more

When I'm in the mood for pho close to home this is where I go! The broth is always served hot and delicious! The service is friendly and quick, and the food always comes out very hot. They also have some extremely delicious egg rolls so those are a must every time we visit. They have plenty of seating inside so we've never had to wait for a table. Service was good and food looked delicious however tastes very bland. Noodles for pho and spring rolls were over cooked so everything tasted diluted and soggy. The Vietnamese Crepe was crispy and had a different taste to it than the usual however was good. Pho Highland is my go to pho spot for this side of the IE. Their prices are reasonable and the flavor of their food is good. I normally would make the drive outside of the inland empire for some good pho but this place does the job and tastes better than other places out here. read more

I decided to go in person to order and got there 25 minutes before closing and the man working there did not even let me step foot inside the store, while the OPEN sign was still bright and on. I've never written a review for anything before, but I feel like I have to for this restaurant because I've been coming here for over a year and a half now. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and we live about 3 minutes away. We eat here every week, usually more. We come with his family or just us two. I've came on my own with friends and now they come here with their families. The service is very quick and there's never a wait for seating and food comes out quick and hot. I've never been disappointed by this place. We always order #14 and #48 and we do a half time switch. We love it here! read more

We stumbled upon this place accidentally, after visiting Redlands and driving out of the city to the north on a random street that eventually took us to Highlands. We were looking for a place to have lunch, and my husband spotted the sign for Pho. I was excited to find chao (rice porridge) on the menu, and ordered the Chao Ga, the chicken version. The flavor was good, enhanced with slivers of ginger and sprigs of cilantro, and the serving was so large that I took half of it home. My husband ordered kung pao from the Chinese-ish part of the menu, and he was happy with his lunch. We would definitely go back if we find ourselves near Highland again. read more

Made an order for pickup via phone. First call the guy hung up on me, second call all he said was okay for everything I ordered. Showed up to pick up order and was told card machine was down so I went to get cash. While checking my order I noticed missing food, and was told that it wasn't put in. Another customer came in and was told they could use debit card after I was told again that it would be cash or Zelle when I wanted to order the missing food. Came last minutes ona whim first time here , 30 mins to closing and they were kind enough to let us eat and order. He told us we had 30 mins and we were happy to be accommodated. The service was above and beyond. food was amazing the pho was so good, vermicelli with chicken and combo fried flat noodle. After the 30 mins he was like telling us to take our time eating and not rush it was okay but we were done eating and didn't want to impose. So I went in yesterday great food but customer service is a little shady . I felt forced to pay zelle which I've never been pressed so hard to do at a sit in restaurant but then when I proceeded to pay with cash my total went from 76 dollars to 26 and he still took the 50 and I seen him put it in his tip jar above register . As soon as I left I called the restaurant he answered and I asked to speak to manager he said hold on then he came back on the phone and pretended to be someone new and said " hi I'm the manager " I immediately hung up . Not talking about his appearance either it's when he brings out a little paper to pay Zelle very sneaky and if you disregard it he'll take it away fast and hide u see register .
