The food was PHENOMINAL! My friend had the tomato basil quiche and I had the pepper jack chorizo Benedict--both on their specials of the day menu--and both were the best we've ever had. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. And if you see Gary or Larry (regulars there), tell them hi. Larry will be sure to tell you some good jokes.

The wait staff was genuinely friendly and very attentive. The food was exactly what you want from a solid breakfast spot. Good portions, hot when it hit the bar, and exactly as advertised. My blueberry pancake was excellent, with what looked like fresh blueberries inside, and bonus points for real butter, not some processed garbage. You can tell they care about serving quality. My wife's country fried steak was delicious and generously portioned. She ate about a third of it with the intent of taking it home, as it was delicious. Being a Good Samaritan, I devoured her leftovers, and saved her the hassle of a to-go box. Fun, welcoming vibe, great food, and efficient service, all wrapped into a perfect little breakfast spot. Really happy to have this gem right here in the neighborhood, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you.
