Excellent food and drinks. We had the cheeseburger and mixed drinks and beers served pool side. We had the crab cake sandwich at our room. Reasonably priced and fresh, high quality

Tuna bowl - small but good flavor!

I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant inside the Hilton. We ordered at the tiki bar out back and sat on the beach deck and the ambiance and view was wonderful. The only thing I can review is the tuna bowl because both my friend and I had the same thing. It was pretty good, however it was pretty small (see photos). Don't be turned away by the rating until there are enough reviewers to really get a good read on this place. I couldn't give it a 4 or 5 star rating but if you're staying at the Hilton or close by and want to eat with a view of the beach I would give this place a shot!!

Ocean Grille - Beachside Melbourne - 3 Stars. It's hard to gain inspiration to write witty reviews when there is nothing that stands out about a restaurant. The Ocean Grille is inside the Hilton Hotel, Beachside Melbourne. Just because a restaurant is inside a hotel should not scream average. In fact there is a restaurant inside a hotel in Orlando that has made my Top 5 in the United States List. Anyway, the Ocean Grille is run like that episode of the Lucy show where the conveyor belt keeps spitting out candy faster than Lucy and Ethel can box it. Chaos with lack of direction. My server, Chris, was a charming fellow from the islands. I only mention this because while he was prompt and courteous, he was completely unintelligible. Besides, service is not part of the score anyway. Ordered eggs Benedict, home fries and pancakes. The cakes were fluffy and actually resounded with flavor, which is rare for a plain pancake. The eggs Benedict had a tangy hollandaise sauce that was appealing. I abroached the egg and the yolk was runny as it should be. The muffin was toasted properly. The home fries were red bliss and were sautéed and seasoned adequately. Of the four main Beachside hotel restaurants this was the best. The dining room was also the cleanest and most contemporary. If you are looking for a change up in your breakfast routine try the Ocean Grille. Otherwise, Big Boy says, there are better places Beachside.

    My card charges for meal..

I met some friends there looking for drinks, appetizers and dinner. The drinks were good. The appetizers were bland. The seafood was terrible. Mahi was grey and rubbery. On top of that, they double or triple charged my card. And now 7 days later I haven't been refunded. Spoke with accounting and Food/beverage manager and they said that's standard. So watch out for a crappy meal and double charge that will not refund to your account for atleast a week (and counting) - they said there was nothing they could do. Thank goodness I don't have an emergency and need the money right now. Do NOT go here - there a many options...

It was a hot May Day but they had a portable unit that blew cold air as well as ceiling fans so it was quite comfortable. Our server, Debra, greeted us with a smile and was a delight. She gave prompt service even going so far as to anticipate our needs before we even asked for things, like a to-go cup already half filled with soda so when we added our own, we got to leave with a full cup. The food was PHENOMINAL! My friend had the tomato basil quiche and I had the pepper jack chorizo Benedict--both on their specials of the day menu--and both were the best we've ever had. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. And if you see Gary or Larry (regulars there), tell them hi. Larry will be sure to tell you some good jokes.

We sat at the bar and were greeted right when we walked in, and everyone behind the counter made it a point to say goodbye as we headed out, which honestly says a lot. Even though the place was busy, the service never skipped a beat. The drink order came fast, the food order came fast, and the staff kept checking on us without hovering. The wait staff was genuinely friendly and very attentive. The food was exactly what you want from a solid breakfast spot. Good portions, hot when it hit the bar, and exactly as advertised. My blueberry pancake was excellent, with what looked like fresh blueberries inside, and bonus points for real butter, not some processed garbage. You can tell they care about serving quality. My wife's country fried steak was delicious and generously portioned. She ate about a third of it with the intent of taking it home, as it was delicious. Being a Good Samaritan, I devoured her leftovers, and saved her the hassle of a to-go box. Fun, welcoming vibe, great food, and efficient service, all wrapped into a perfect little breakfast spot. Really happy to have this gem right here in the neighborhood, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. It is conveniently located in the Lowe's shopping center plaza on A1A in Indian Harbour Beach.

This means nothing fancy. Good people, good food, good prices. I think I can safely say this is literally the best corned beef hash ever. So over the top good with homemade corned beef. I wanted more. My wife had one of their Bennies. She loved it too. Next time we are in the area, we will try them for lunch.

Banana River Cafe is proof that the smell of bacon can make you forgive almost anything…read more First, a fun fact: they're operated by a CIA graduate. No, not that CIA. The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.

They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
