I always do one of the combination dishes with chow mien, sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice. My husband orders something different each time. Customer service is good. They don't exactly go out of their way to do anything fabulous, but they aren't rude either. Orders are correct about 90% of the time. I can only remember twice that they screwed up an order, one missing the sweet and sour chicken entirely. How you manage that one, I'm still not sure. But it happens, and since it is rare and during the plague, I wasn't complaining, as I knew that was a challenge in itself. It is the only Chinese food in the Thurston area, so they definitely have a corner on that market for people looking for something close to home there. It is still better than Lok Yaun, but not as good as Chopstix. Would I return? Yes. For the price and amount of food, it's a good deal to fill me and my husband up, and still have some leftovers. I wouldn't really go out of my way to eat here, but it is certainly decent.

The set up is very simple, clean and definitely neat. The staff works hard to make sure the dining area are kept up. They are extremely attentive and helpful. Also, if you're Spanish speaking, the entire staff is pretty much Mexican (not a poor thing at all). The preparation is tasty and skillfully prepared. Make sure to order your drink, which is separate from your stir fry. Also there is rice that is included, just ask the front. In all, Lee's Mongolian is definitely a nice change of pace and extremely affordable for a nice Asian stir fry experience.

I said do you know why you got 2$ and did she know I was just confronted in the parking lot by another employee. She acted like she had know idea, told me it was the bus boy. It came with two sauces: the traditional tentsuyu sauce and a spicy Mayo. Both were good. While waiting for the karaage, they came out to tell us that they accidentally started making a chicken katsu and gave it to us on the house while we waited for the dish we ordered. What a treat to be able to try another dish and it was delicious as well. It came with the traditional ketchup-based katsu sauce and teriyaki sauce. The chicken was very tender! We got the karaage plate last. It came with rice dusted with furikake, half a ajiamago egg, and a side of mac salad. The mac salad was pretty good overall. They added finely chopped green peppers to it, which aren't always my favorite, but it was still good. The karaage was also tender and came with teriyaki and spicy mayo. The interesting thing about this location is that they share the space with a bar. So there are two sets of staff and two tabs to pay at the end. Everyone was very attentive and helpful so it all worked out smoothly. We were able to get a beer from the bartender that came over to our table and took our order after we ordered our food. Seems like a setup that can work for them and hopefully they can help each other's businesses thrive.
