I was torn between one of the two pastrami sandwiches or the Pub Sub. I asked the person behind the counter and was told that they were all good choices. I picked the Pub Sub which came with crispy baked chips, along with a mug of the house Root Beer. The root beer was delicious and the Pub Sub was off the charts good. The half of the sandwich that I took home, was so good that it was delicious after riding around in the back of my car for several hours. I hope to get back to Cottage Grove so I can ordered at least three more items off the menu.

The tater tots are seasoned up real well and the chicken was full of flavor, layered with bacon. The bar itself is clean, well organized, with plenty of space. The stage hosted a man with a guitar that evening and he put on quite a show. Dart board upstairs is a fine addition . This is a smaller town watering hole done right. My steak that's supposed to be rare was most definitely not, my boyfriend burger is extremely undercooked and the french dip was soggy and cold and they didn't add the sauce or the cheese. They put my salad in the same exact container as my steak and fries so it's extremely soggy and warm. I heard good stuff about this place but unfortunately was extremely disappointed and still had to pay $80+. I will not be coming back to this place and I am extremely worried about eating this food. It's completely un-edible.

I was able to plug in the laptop and charge the phone while ignoring the trivia and drink two beers, so it's all good. Chinese food truck out front doing good work this evening. The beers are experimental and creative with their beers making some pretty unusual beers that taste great! We have had three of their beers so far on two separate occasions and both times the beers were very impressive and enjoyable! One of the beers we had was the Thumb Ring. A Wild Ale that was excellent. It was aged on peaches, blackberries and coconut. Flavors featured with this beer are tartness, peachy, cherry and a hint of purposeful mustiness. Wit Bat was another beer we had. Also a Wild Ale this beer was wonderful also! Flavors to find with this Ale are tartness and jam like. The jam like qualities come from the marionberries and the Coriander brings it an extra depth. A very effervescent and elegant Ale. The third beer we had was the Earl of Tenmile. This was a Sour Ale with flavors of tart, sour, some sweetness and a clean finish. It is a blend of two and four year spontaneously fermented Ales. Such great beers and ales Draper has to offer and I would love to continue to explore with more of their beverage options which I hope would be in the near future.
