Have gotten food there twice - both times handed the wrong order. Chicken instead of tri-tip. They offered to remake so I drove back into town to pick up the correct order. They gave me a brownie to apologise which was nice, however when I got home and opened the box, it was the most pathetically small serving of tri-tip I've ever seen. Great food here, I will say though I ordered a coach salad and was disappointed to see that the chicken is no longer the smoked chicken they have been making for years! Now this lil hole in the wall food truck is a real gem! I mean that. So glad this place was recommended to me while working here in town. The Teriyaki chicken is amazing, it is so fresh and so full of flavor. The juices just drip and that is how I like my flavors! The portions are big, I had enough left over for dinner in my hotel and it was still full of flavor and delicious. The veggies tasted fresh and steamed before cooked. I tried the Caesar bacon wrap as well, all I can say is it was phenomenal. I think I inhaled that wrap. I had ordered mine with extra sauce. They seem to really accommodate special requests (within reason) and I like that. The staff are always so friendly and efficient. Prices are great for the amount of food that you get! I probably should venture out and try other places while here but this place is so delish! Kudos to a great business with fabulous food!!! read more

This is a great little spot in Cottage Grove. I am a big fan of both the salads and wraps. Portions are generous and prices are very fair. Staff is always friendly and I love looking at all the decor while you wait for your order. My only complaint is the total inconsistency of their hours. Posts on social media indicated starting March 2nd they would be open 11-6:30 again. However, since then, I find them open for limited hours or not open at all. I know they operate on a small staff and I imagine that makes it tough. They are pretty good about posting updates on social media but it makes it difficult if you are out and catch a craving. Hopefully they will be able to get through this and back to a consistent presence in our little town! read more

Earlier this week I stopped by Urban Kitchen in Cottage Grove Oregon to pick up my favorite Wrap (Asian Sesame). I frequent this Drive Up Restaurant 3 to 4 times a Month. Unfortunately I will not be returning. I drove up to the Service window and waited about 3 to 4 minutes. No one else was in line. No employee was visible so I tapped on the closed window to get their attention. A minute later a young women came to the window and said "Don't knock on the Window. I know you are here!" It seemed like a rude response as I was only trying to get their attention to order food. All she had to say something like " I can help you in a minute" or "I'm sorry I was busy. Can I help you now?" Her response instead seemed rude and grumpy to me. Ironically a notice is posted on their window that refers to rude and grumpy customers (photo attached). Although the food is good I will take my business where I recieve better service and feel like a valued customer. read more

I adore this place!!! I can get the best smoothies in town from the UK. The ingredients are all natural and delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to tweak the recipe to make the food your own. (I personally love caesar wraps with teriyaki sauce and a little rice.) Kind of odd but they make it with a smile and my belly is I'm heaven!! Love the food!!! The meats are BBQ to perfection and when I am craving rice and teriyaki I know just where to go! I love supporting local businesses, especially those that do so much for my community! Keep up the fabulous work ladies! I always leave feeling happy! read more

Probably not the place to eat if you need to be careful about ingredients because of food intolerances and allergies or if you value freshness. I've had mixed experiences here. They are a step above fast food and the peach nectar ice tea is pretty good (ingredients unknown). They are closed on weekends, the service is borderline unfriendly, and their ingredients are generic/packaged and the employees don't know even the basics such as if there is even avocado in the "guacamole." I ordered a rice bowl with guacamole but requested it not have onions. There was no sign of avocado and it tasted like onion. When I called, they couldn't tel me the ingredients because they didn't have the "box it comes in." They thought it probably does have onion. I also got teriyaki dish here once that was slathered in sauce that tasted bottled and disproportionate to the noodle content. Overall, just not a fan. read more

I have memories of going to the lake and enjoying the wraps and boxes from here. This will FOREVER be my favorite place to eat. Angie May and the Urban Kitchen are two treasures in the Grove! Fresh hand prepared good quality food. She makes our meals with the sauces on the sides so they are fresh hours later when I proudly serve them for dinner at home! Her selection is HUGE! Something literally for everyone. No menu item is written in stone, so add and subtract any ingredient and Angie still has a smile as she prepares it in front of you. Yes, there is occasionally a wait. Yes it is 100% worth it! It is evident in the continuous stream of cars that visit daily. I consider the UK to be my own local "meal delivery" system but I pick it up, gladly! And my money stays local! Personal favorites are the ALL fruit smoothies, all the wraps and salads- especially the broccoli salad and Asian chicken teriyaki. You simply cannot go wrong by choosing this quaint stop in beautiful downtown Cottage Grove! read more

The noodles great I think for 11 plus dollars they need to put more chicken or steak with their meal barely any meat for the price, all noodles. Also not a fan of microwaved veggies need other alternative or start fresh steaming veggies. read more

Extremely disappointed in this place. They didn't have what I wanted on the menu because they discontinued it but didn't bother taking it off the menu. Long wait time at the drive thru as well. Returned home to eat our meals and they got all 3 of my family's order wrong. On top of that, as I was eating my incorrect order I come across a tomato with a sticker still on it. You'd think with all that wait time they'd have time to peel the stickers off their produce before cutting them up. Super disappointed and the food is subpar at best. The pieces of meat they put in their food is such poor quality as well. Will not be returning. read more

This is the place to go if you want drive up healthy food. I eat most of my lunches here. They have bean boxes, wraps, best peanut Thai ever, teriyaki noodles, salads and much more. They can add tempeh or tofu, if you are vegetarian and they make the healthiest smoothies that taste great. You can add greens and hemp hearts or chia seeds to your smoothie and if you want it a little sweeter they can add honey but they add no sugar. read more
