We used OC Mini Movers to move a big leather sofa and chair from Huntington Beach to Long Beach. Tim and Johnny were great. Very pleasant, experienced, hard-working and, of course, big and strong. They had the furniture wrapped and loaded in no time even though a number of steps and turns were involved. In Long Beach an even more challenging situation presented...upstairs apartment, narrow hallway, narrow doorway. Tim figured it out! We had a fantastic experience with OC Mini Movers. Though we only utilized them to move a bedroom set that was EXTREMLY heavy and not an entire house, the experience was great. Geo and John called on their way and showed up 5 minutes early. Super nice guys and very hard workers. I downsized my second-floor office and moved some furniture to my home office. I talked with Chris who gave me a quote of $95 an hour for two guys and $75 flat truck and equipment fee. I hoped we could get it done within the two hour minimum. I didn't want the three hour minimum other companies charged. It turned out to be a more work to do the job right. Geo and John got right to it and carried a massive oak credenza down the stairs with a shoulder harness contraption. Truly amazing. The wrapped things up and were careful with all my stuff. The tackled the project with zest and a positive attitude. Nothing was a problem. Stairs, no problem. Put stuff in your attic by crawling up a ladder, no problem. Position everything just right at the destination. They were a delight to work with. If you want a pleasant, fairly priced moving experience, for small or large jobs, I recommend Tim, the owner, and his team for a happy, low-stress, and worth every penny move. Gio and Marco were amazing! They worked tirelessly to move our household into a 10 X 20 storage with a cranky spouse ( picture the temper of Ricky Ricardo with a dash of SAMCRO, and a heaping spoonful of country for good measure), intermittent rain, a ramp, and an elevator to contend with. Not once did they complain or act unprofessionally. Tim was very patient and kept a not so great situation from escalating. To top it off, a third party paid for our move and they never treated me like I had no say. Everything was stacked like a 3D Tetris game and it ALL fit, including a very stubborn basketball court. 2 TVs were in the cab of their truck and they very honestly notified me rather than keep something that I wouldn't know was missing. The movers were efficient and trustworthy, sure they may have had tattoos (none on face as referenced by another reviewer maybe hes referencing a different company) but in this day and age thats not uncommon nor did it detour me as i was referenced to this company by another extremely satisfied customer! So the "tattoos" were completely irrelevant to the manner in which they handled my personal belongings which was with respect and professionalism. In my opinion the movers appeared and conducted themselves in an extremely professional manner paying close attention to detail ensuring my belongings remained in perfect condition throughout the move. My Tiffany lamps were moved with absolutely no damage! These movers were simply awesome professional and thorough, they truly made the moving process simple and stress free I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Quality service at a reasonable price! I needed my kitchen refrigerator swapped our with the one in the garage. This was going to require professionals that could take off all of the refrigerator doors to get both units in and out of the house. They also needed to do this across brand new wood floors. Everything went very smoothly including reassembly and hook up of the water line. Mike and Alfred were on time, courteous and efficient. They were in and out in an hour. OC Mini Movers did two separate moves for me, separated by a week. The first was a business move with some heavy items down from a third floor suite, done very well and fast by Phil and Tom. Being completely delighted with that move, I retained them once again for a personal apartment-apartment move by Phil (again) and Andrew. This was 4th floor in one place to 3rd floor in another. Long runs between elevators and truck at both places made this a test of hustle, easily passed by the guys. The downstairs of my townhome flooded and had to be completely remodeled, so my garage became my storage unit for 3 months while the house underwent repairs. When it came time to carpet my living room, I just needed the piano moved from the living room to the kitchen and then moved back in after the carpet went in. I also needed my refrigerator moved back into the kitchen and a few other pieces of furniture moved around. OC movers were the answer to a small move without a huge expense. Contacted OC Mini Movers since I just needed to move a 210lb. elliptical machine from upstairs into my garage. Tim quoted me $85 per hour, plus one time $50 flat fee to arrive at my place. It was actually the lowest price of 3 quotes I obtained, since most required at least 2 hour minimum. 2 movers (Alfred and Andrew) arrived the very same day and moved my machine very quickly, without hitting any walls! The whole experience took less than 15 minutes. I don't plan to move houses, but will definitely call them again for another quick, heavy furniture move! read more
