I ran into one of these movers in McDonalds one morning and just struck up a convo with him. I called the next day and was very happy with there professionalism in just setting up my apt as I have had movers before flake on me. I was referred to OC Mini Movers by another moving company that was not able to meet my schedule and am grateful for the referral. I spoke to Chris regarding the details of our move and let him know that we would be moving into a new development that has brand new floors, carpets, and fresh paint, so we needed a crew that would be extra careful. Chris assured me that they would take care of us and they did. I got a confirmation call the night before and then a call 10 minutes before they showed up. Alfred, Hector and Richard were on time and ready to rock. They were efficient and as careful as we could possibly ask for. Nothing damaged. Nothing scratched. The team of 3 guys moved all our items and installed 2 beds, a massive desk, and re-assembled our treadmill in our 2-story, 4 bedroom house in 3.5 hours. Another plus is that they don't have a 4hr minimum requirement on weekend moves like a lot of other movers, who stall and delay to drag out the time. Alfred was a rock star. Super patient, as my wife would ask him to shift the desk or treadmill over by a few inches or degrees until she was happy. I had a good experience with prior movers, but my move with OC Mini Movers was outstanding. I highly recommend them for your next move. I was desperate for a mover after an injury to one of my family who was moving a very heavy item for me. It absolutely had to be done today. I googled moving companies in West Covina, found an 866 number for a company. I don't remember their name but the woman on the phone said that they work with a specialty moving company. She placed me on hold, came back to me in about 2 minutes and said that Chris at OC Mini Movers would be expecting my immediate call. I hung up, called, he knew exactly who I was. I explained the urgency. He said to give him a couple of minutes. He called me back within 5 minutes, said that his movers were finishing a job and would be coming to me between 2 and 4, closer to 4 given their location and mine. At 2:30, I received a phone call from Richard who said he would be at my house just before 4:00. At 3:48, I heard a truck pull up. Richard skillfully backed an enormous truck up a crazy shaped driveway without a problem. My items were on the truck within 10 minutes and they were on the way to the delivery location with my husband meeting them. They were finished, done, paid and tipped before I arrived home. Yelpers, this was SAME DAY, PROFESSIONAL service at a good price given what I had to move. Trust me, it was heavy and awkward. I ran the price by a trusted friend and was told that I got a bargain. These guys are awesome! I had other movers come in and move my house on Sunday, but they couldn't figure out how to get the 5 foot by 5 foot, 500 lbs armoire down the tight stairs. I had two days before the house closed and the new owners took possession, so I had to scramble and luckily found these guys. They came down to Carlsbad, CA from OC, assessed the task at hand, made some very smart decisions, and got the "beast" down the stairs and into storage where it belonged. We used OC Mini Movers to move a big leather sofa and chair from Huntington Beach to Long Beach. Tim and Johnny were great. Very pleasant, experienced, hard-working and, of course, big and strong. They had the furniture wrapped and loaded in no time even though a number of steps and turns were involved. In Long Beach an even more challenging situation presented...upstairs apartment, narrow hallway, narrow doorway. Tim figured it out! The movers were efficient and trustworthy, sure they may have had tattoos (none on face as referenced by another reviewer maybe hes referencing a different company) but in this day and age thats not uncommon nor did it detour me as i was referenced to this company by another extremely satisfied customer! So the "tattoos" were completely irrelevant to the manner in which they handled my personal belongings which was with respect and professionalism. In my opinion the movers appeared and conducted themselves in an extremely professional manner paying close attention to detail ensuring my belongings remained in perfect condition throughout the move. My Tiffany lamps were moved with absolutely no damage! These movers were simply awesome professional and thorough, they truly made the moving process simple and stress free I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Quality service at a reasonable price!
