Fastest mani pedi of my life. Everyone that was there when I got there was still there when I left. She wasn't watching what she was doing half the time. I watched the other people seemed to pay attention to what they were doing she was watching tv rubbing my leg w one arm. Wouldn't call that a massage. It's not like I got the basic stuff I got deluxe I was done in 35 min. She had a timer but she stopped using it the second I got on my phone I guess she assumed I wouldn't notice. She didn't bother to cool the towels or wax before using it. Slightly burning me never asked how everything was or if anything was to hot. She was distracted the entire time when using the tool to push the skin off your nails she kept hitting my knuckles. Not sure how you do this. I get mani pedis regularly for his was one of the worst ones I've ever head definitely the fastest. It seems as though most of the people were on a first name basis so maybe they got better treatment because they are regulars or I got worse cause I'm a guy and she figured I wouldn't know better. I went here and could tell it was a busy place but after opting for a pedicure and manicure but after getting the receipt I realized they charged $10 more than they should have based on menu pricing. When I asked her about it they said their prices increased and it was an old menu. I said they should have disclosed it but I'll leave it and she did not seem apologetic and wonder if they still leave the old menu there doing this to others. Also 10 days later, all the sns nails came off and the two toes on my pedicure were chipped in the first 3 days. Won't be going back read more

I'm not one to write negative reviews, so this pains me to write. I communicated that I was going out of country tomorrow at the beginning of the appt- I had come in for a dip removal, tip, and dip. At the beginning my technician (who was really nice) wanted to keep my four week old tips and just go on top of them, which after protesting gently a few times: she agreed to remove them. She completed my nails and when I got outside I noticed this awful texture splotches on a number of my nails. I'm so frustrated because this is an important trip and I'm unable to go have this fixed before I fly. I'm not sure what happened here... but this sucks. read more

So far I've been to Oasis twice and the love and care that they put into nails is incredible. I will say, I have only seen Lynn. She is incredible, full of energy and loves to have down to earth conversations. Her natural curiosity for life is incredible. Moreover, I have never had anyone put this much care into the nails. She double checks the shape, double checks the colors and makes sure they are okay. She also does give a lotion arm rub even for a gel manicure which some places definitely skip. Last gel manicure lasted 3 weeks and I go to the gym A LOT so they never last !! I haven't had the dip / SNS from there yet but it looks like they carry one consistent brand and it might all be the original SNS, which is supposed to be the best brand. OK, like most places it's about the tech you get. Last Thursday, I got this manicure - the topcoat didn't even cover the whole nail, which you can see in the photo. The topcoat was cracking within a day. Throughout the appointment, I had to constantly decline upgrading to SNS. I don't want the harsh removal, OK? I think my decision to stick to paint is why I got this shoddy job. We also argued about what square with rounded corners meant - and I was told normally that requires tips on. Since when? I ended up shaping these nails myself before paint. Why even pay for a manicure if I'm going to shape and then the topcoat is this awful? Bottom line: Stick with who you know. I am always a fan of a place that offers complimentary wine with your mani and pedi, so I was already into Oasis from the get go. The consistent availability for walk-ins is a nice perk, too! The space isn't huge but clean and happy. The staff is always welcoming and nice and readily available to help with whatever you need. It is a little pricey, but they are constantly offering deals to their loyal customers and the quality of my pedicures are always top notch and last a long(ish) time. I do like places that offer all the bells and whistles with a pedicure, which they do, but I am a sucker for the whole experience - not just the end result. With that said, I have had better experiences at places that really go all out with the massage, scrub, etc. but the end result isn't as great. The staff was personable and did not rush through any portion of our services. Even after days of hardcore landscaping and house cleaning my gel manicure is still looking fresh. I don't know why, but I've never shown a ton of loyalty to nail salons. I think it's because it's not a regular habit for me, so when the mood strikes, I'll just choose whichever location is closest. Oasis, though, I've been to twice now because it's close to my apt and I had a GREAT experience the first time. My pedicure polish job was superb and lasted a good two plus weeks, the massage and clean up part of the pedi was given as much attention as the pretty-ing up part, but moreso than that, I splurged for a manicure, too, and was surprised that I went more than a week without seeing the paint wear off, which is pretty unheard of since I'm not a delicate lady...I rip open boxes, rifle through things regularly, ride a bike, wash my hands often, etc. Returned for another pedicure BECAUSE after the first visit, I was now part of their point system and was text a $5 off coupon. I'm a fan of this style of marketing. The timing was also perfect as the previous pedicure was starting to fade. Walked in again without an appointment and tended to immediately. Offered a beverage again (wine, water, or tea) as soon as I sat down. The pedicure was just ok this time, but I think that's because of the color I chose (needed a couple of extra coats to not look dull) rather than the technician's effort, but will have to return for a third visit to see if third time really is a charm in cementing this as my Austin go-to. read more

I 100 percent recommend this place. I used to go to a different nail salon, and I would pay a lot for an SNS manicure I wasn't in love with. I called Oasis Nail Spa today after seeing their reviews on Yelp, and wanted to know when the next available appointment was. They told me to come in the next 20 minutes! I got confused on the location so I was a few minutes late, but they still took me and serviced me quickly. I was offered a refreshment, and they had lots of SNS color and gel options. I went with an SNS color that was a little lighter than the one I had on before (and wasn't available at my previous nail salon), and I absolutely love it. Jenny did a great job on my nails. Not only are my nails beautiful, but they also offer a student discount if you show your student ID!!! Life saver for me. I'm going to recommend this place to all my friends too. EDIT: After having one poor experience with one technician, I decided to keep coming back to Oasis. They are now my home base nail salon and I come back every month to have my SNS nails done by Anna. She is so wonderful and I am always extremely happy with my nails! I have included some photos of my colors. Oasis has SO many amazing SNS colors to choose from. Love this local business I was recommended to this place by my bestie who comes here regularly. My first time, it was awesome, had a great experience with my SNS mani. I went back for a second time today and I am actually shocked at the experience. My technician was extremely sweet, which makes this even more difficult. She injured my fingers pretty badly; 6 of my 10 fingers have large scabs from how deeply the drill file cut my cuticles. There are bald spots on a couple of my nails where there is noI also asked for a deep purple glitter and I somehow ended up with burgundy. Not sure if the color was labeled improperly or what, but I couldn't endure anymore pain to ask for it to be redone. I'm so very sad that I'm stuck with a color I don't like, but even more disappointed that my fingers sting to the extent they do. I may come back and ask for a different technician based on my first experience, but I wish I had had the heart to not pay for this experience. read more

Just left the nail salon. This review will be on the tech that worked on me. She had a very off attitude. Never once said a word to me, never offered if I wanted anything to drink nor did she take my advice when I told her about my nails. Was very rough and I repeatedly would say thank you and she never acknowledged me whatsoever. Every other tech in there was vibrant and lovely but mine was not. Tried out Oasis for the first time today as it's very close to home, and I loved it!! All of the staff was so efficient and accommodating. I was immediately seated for my pedicure on a pretty busy Friday evening. The man who did my pedicure was amazing (didn't catch a name). They didn't initially hear that I wanted to get an SNS manicure but they quickly figured it out. While I waited for a chair, Ellen began removing my existing manicure and soon after Kim started my ombré French SNS. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because my pedicures have been oddly inconsistent. Sometimes they are beautiful, other times the polish is uneven or all over my cuticles.
