What sets this experience apart is that you're not working with someone who is simply selling suits. You're working with someone who genuinely understands classic menswear, tailoring, and proportion, and who has an excellent tailor on the premises. That combination is incredibly rare. In my experience, many made-to-measure programs are primarily sales-driven. The person taking your measurements may be very personable, but often doesn't have a deep understanding of garment construction, fit, or how to modify a pattern to achieve a specific look. This experience was completely different. Every detail was discussed thoughtfully, and there was never any hesitation when I wanted to customize the pattern. Whether it was the lapel shape, shoulder expression, button stance, sleeve pitch, trouser cut, or other details, every request was taken seriously and executed exactly as I envisioned. I'm probably one of the pickiest clients anyone could have when it comes to tailoring. I have extremely high expectations for fit, and I've even had made-to-measure programs tell me they couldn't produce the result I was looking for because my standards were beyond what they felt comfortable promising. This time, the suit arrived exactly as I wanted it. Remarkably, I didn't need a single alteration. That has never happened to me before. Look like a million dollars without spending a million dollars to do it…read more Simply put, this is the best looking and most fashionable clothes I've been able to find anywhere that isn't just absurdly expensive. You'll spend a bit more than most mid-range priced clothes but the difference will be noticeable. Many of the styles here are trending towards a more modern cut and look while still fitting into classic designs. I honestly think this is one of the best kept secrets as far as brands. Similar clothes like this would cost 3-4x in higher end stores or different brand names. The only thing about this place I don't like is the return policy (or almost non existent one). You can only return something for store credit, and even with that it has to be within 14 days. The first time I bought something here and then read the policy I was really worried and scared that I made a couple hundred dollar mistake. Thankfully I can say I haven't had any issues with anything I've bought here and ive shopped here more than a year. Clothes seem to be very well made. I've gotten nice blazers, a tux, peacoat, and some nice french cuff shirts from here. They have high quality cottons and also great wools with a nice sheen. I recommend the 'bionic' blazers which have a stain repellant coating and sheen. It seems to have big sales all the time of about 40-50%. If things arent on sale i would probably wait until they are again.

First, the greeter at Suitsupply immediately said hello and explained the process to me (I'd been ignored at Nordstrom's until I asked an associate for help - which is sometimes fine if you're browsing, but I knew exactly what I needed.) Second, I worked with Khalil at Suitsupply, and he was outstanding: his expertise and knowledge around the fitting; his demeanor - not trying to sell me, helping me find what would be the best look for me; his passion for the clothes. Suitsupply also had a wider range of neck sizes - I wasn't sure if I needed the 17", 17.5", or 17.75" (which they had in stock, unlike every other place I'd visited). Third, when I settled on the pants, Khalil measured and marked where they needed to be altered. Alterations were completed in-house, and after 15 minutes or so, were completed to perfection. I tried the shirt and pants on again before leaving (the shirt I bought at Nordstrom's needed to be altered and will be ready in about a week.) I highly recommend the Tysons' Galleria Suitsupply and Khalil in particular - exactly the type of person you want to work with - skilled and knowledgeable, wants you to look your best, not trying to sell you on a garment, and a truly nice person. There are a variety of fits available in all sizes, so you're sure to find something that looks good on you, and it's cool that the shirts are designed in a way to look good on whatever shape body you happen to have, both tucked and untucked. The wrinkle-free items are great, and I just found out how great they are when unpacking my suitcase after a cross-country flight a couple weeks ago - just hang up the shirt and you're ready to go!
