Reviewing both the Mosaic Warby Parker location and their eye exam office next door- Like all of my experiences at Warby Parker locations up and down the East Coast (mostly in NYC and DC proper), my experience in Mosaic renewing my prescription and ordering new glasses was extremely positive. Started next door at FOCUS, which I believe is independent yet connected to Warby. This is a very small office with one exam room, but everything is extremely clean, orderly, and pleasant. Both the person at reception and the eye doctor were extremely friendly and helpful. It was a quick but thorough exam in which the doctor listened to and addressed all of my concerns. I have a strong family history of glaucoma, and he put extra effort into assessing my risk. After the exam was finished, the doctor escorted me over to the Warby Parker retail location next door. I assume that you don't have to use your prescription at WP if you'd rather go somewhere else, but why would you? WP's prices are fair, their frames are durable and stylish, and their staff is extremely helpful. The woman who helped me with my exam (her name started with an H but that's all I remember, sorry!) was also extremely helpful and quickly pulled up my records in the system. Though I was worried for a moment that the frames I have been wearing for 5+ years might be retired, they luckily weren't, and she was able to quickly place an order for my new lenses in a new pair of glasses. WP now offers blue light filters on their regular lenses and I can't wait to not have a severe headache after looking at the computer screen every day. Next up was my sunglasses. WP actually DID retire my sunglass frames, but the employee helped me with suggestions of similar pairs and gave me helpful advice when I tried them on. She also didn't bat and eye when I took some extra time to send selfies in the new lenses to my wife to get her opinion. I wound up picking one of the pairs the employee selected, and they look great! Overall, I highly recommend the Mosaic Warby Parker. All their employees are helpful and friendly, and their products are great. I only wish they directly took my insurance, but they gave me an itemized receipt to submit my claim. I look forward to ordering the same exact frames for as long as humanely possible, 5/5 stars please keep Burke in Tennessee Whiskey in stock forever! read more

This is the second time I have bought a pair of glasses from Warby Parker. I enjoy being able to select a frame from a variety of different frames and have someone to help. They are relatively inexpensive as well for their products compared to other places I have shopped in the past (ex. Lenscrafters). Once you find a pair that you like and you're able to provide your prescription, your glasses will be shipped to your house within 7-10 business days. I've always gotten mine before the 10 days are up! read more

Walked in, prescription in hand, ready to buy glasses and no one greeted or offered to help us. Strange, but kept on looking for the right glasses. Two people of a certain race walk in and were immediately approached, greeted and helped. We were in the store for 10 minutes at that point. Took my bf's money to MyEyeDr down the block thank you. read more

Go to WP if you like overpriced frames and lenses, aggressive sales tactics, and impersonal customer care where they discourage the use of your vision insurance benefits in lieu of overpaying in cash all deliver by a disinterested impersonal gen Z sales associate who related better to their ipad than the customer. Go to Costco instead where with the use of my insurance benefits I got 2 pairs of glasses for 1/2 the price of a single pair form WP delivered in 7 days rather than the 30 days WP promised. read more

We walked in and were greeted by three employees and after asking for guidance we were given nothing. We had a pair of glasses in our hand while employees just staring at us. Not a single one approached us. I asked my son to go up to one and ask them his questions and they gave a one answer and didn't further ask us any questions. I had to ask them what is the next step to get the ball rolling but at that point how can you trust a business like that to full fill your glasses correctly so we left and will be buying glasses from somewhere else. read more

I purchased my glasses at Tyson's location before this location was open. My new prescription wasn't quite right and I needed a "tune-up"; they hadn't measured correctly and it was difficult to see, lol. This is a brand new location so when I went it was not crowded at all and I basically received one-on-one service. The Optometrist re-measured me and quickly discovered the problem. I had to go for a week with using my old glasses while mine was being redone but when the correctly crafted pair came back, they were perfect! Again, excellent customer service. This location is even better than Tyson's, which was fantastic, and it's closer to home so it's a win-win. Whoop Whoop! :) read more

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Katie helped my friend pick out a few different options that would suit her face. They have a wide selection of frames and a nice clean store that one feels good about shopping in. read more

Excellent people and selection. However, since they import and make everything in China when they lose your order like mine, they will simply go dark. No apologies no refund nothing. Do not use wp because fulfilment is trash. They've stolen my money. Emails unanswered. Phone goes to useless "customer service" in the Philippines. read more

Fantastic customer service and product! After getting subpar glasses down the street I took my prescription to Warby desperate to see clearly with progressive lens again. The staff were helpful but not overly helpful. I went back the next and easily changed my frame order. Their return policy takes the stress out of the process!! I paid for expedited delivery. Totally worth it. I got the new glasses yesterday and they are perfect! Really easy to see unbelievably better than the pair I paid twice as much for down the street. read more

The staff here is accommodating and very friendly. Ashley C helped me find a pair of frames in less than 10 minutes, which is exactly what I wanted. I can be overwhelmed with too many choices and she quickly narrowed down my choices. I can't wait for my glasses to get here! read more

I have bought 4 pairs of glasses from WP over the years. After trying on several pairs at the store today, I found a good frame and planned to order it tonight after getting a second opinion at home (viewing the frame online). I wanted WP staff to measure my pupillary distance because I don't get good results with online tools and I'm not confident past measurements were accurate. (And these glass will be $500+, so I wanted to get the measurement right.) The staff member refused to do the measurement on the grounds that I was not placing the order at that moment. So now it is not possible to place the order. I don't understand the lack of cooperation. read more

Glad that this new Warby Parker opened closer to me and is a little more accessible (parking/not in a mall). The staff is super friendly and helpful with information and opinions on glasses. They have great prices on glasses and are of pretty good quality! The process with getting eyeglasses are so much easier with Warby Parker. I know I sound sponsored by them but I just love the brand and how much stress they take away from the process and also save me money. Definitely will be coming back every time I need new glasses and Wii's recommend them to everyone as well. read more

I used to have VSP, and switched to UHC vision. I absolutely love Warby Parker. Yes, the staff at Mosaic WP can be a bit too friendly, but that's part of their job. If you go to America's Contacts and Eyeglasses, you will get 0 attention. Been getting my glasses from WP for 2 years now. read more

Love my glasses and love the price. The staff was helpful and not pushy. They showed me all the options the would fit my face. It was a great experiences read more

If I could give this employee and location a negative review, I would!! I got attended by an Asian man and he was so rude and laughed at my face when I told him I was confused and didn't understand what he was talking about. That is truly horrible costumer service because I understand if you're having a bad day but the fact that he wasnt understanding, laughed at me, was rude, not helpful and rushing me for no reason just truly made me decide to never go to that location ever again. Employees like that should be told something because that's not okay. read more

Recently switching eye car centers, I decided to give this place a chance! With my insurance, they covered my visit to Warby Parker. Note that the eye doctor's office is tucked right next to the store with a separate entrance and the office was clean. Everything was done seamlessly, from testing my eye health to testing out my current vision. My eye doctor was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had. After I had checked out and gotten my new eye prescription (sent via email), I headed over to the retail store to check out some eye glasses. There were (3) store representatives with iPads and one of then greeted me and let me know where everything was. Note that I recommend using the alcohol wipes to wipe down the eye glasses before trying them on. It wasn't clear to me, but there are individual alcohol wipes underneath each eye glass area. After I selected my eye glass, I waited for a representative to free up and started the check out process. Make sure to mention if your purchase is covered under your insurance and they also had my eye prescription saved from my visit a few minutes before. The eye glasses were to be shipped between 7-10 business days directly to me and I was informed to come to the store if I needed any adjustments to fitting them. I checked out and had my receipt emailed to me. All of it was seamless and honestly such a better experience than the traditional eye doctor visit which can take almost half a day, but this under less than an hour. I really appreciate the staff and will definitely recommend others to try them out. read more

The store itself is great; tons of selection, but staff would not leave me alone to try on glasses. I got an eye exam next door and for the most part it was fine. However, the "doctor" is a bit sketchy. An update: I went in for glasses to see far away. I received reading glasses that I do not need. Now I have to return 4 pairs of glasses I thought I was going to be using everyday. read more

Everyone here is super helpful! Karen and KJ are so pleasant. You can tell they really care about you! Today I did a "pop and swap" because my hand painted Stellans arrived damaged by mail. They happened to have another pair in the back they could put my prescriptions lenses into. also browsed for awhile to make sure I still made the right choice. Nobody seemed to mind- keep in mind they had to sanitize every pair I tried on. Such a pleasant place- great return policy if needed- and they can adjust your glasses on site once you receive them to make sure they fit your face just right! Very happy and will keep shopping here forever! Warby Parker has won my heart! read more

My go to place for glasses. The quality of their glasses is excellent; their customer support is friendly and helpful.

Updated services says in-store shopping but when we went in we were rudely told that browsing was prohibited. When I asked why an older lady with blonde hair gave a response that didn't make any sense plus there were two other patrons in the store. She also said they were at max capacity with just two other people in there? Not sure what the magic number was but wouldn't think another person would have been a problem. They closed at 8 and I was there around 730, maybe she wanted to hurry up and close? Either way, I was in Tysons 1 the other day and was able to browse and there were several people in there and the stores were similar in size. Better to go there if your around the area so you don't waste your time here. read more

Affordable, quick, and friendly customer service! This location has an separate location for the optometrist which is next to the eyeglasses store, you can get an appointment set up to meet them and get your eyes check then you can go next door and look for your new glasses! read more

Warby Parker Mosaic - Grand opening of Mosaic WP! - Optometrists Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

Don't think you are going to leave here with new glasses, like at some other national glasses stores. This is just a location to try on glasses. They'll then enter the purchase and from then on it's no different than if you had purchased them online. I was told it would be 7-10 business days for the most basic frames and lenses. Their selection is somewhat limited and is exactly the same as their online store. There were really only three or four rectangular frames and a few colors of each. The selection is exactly what is shown online. It's definitely worth it to try them on in person. But, I would look online first and if there's nothing that seems pretty close to what you're looking for, don't bother. There was also just something about the staff's attitude that I can't really put my finger on but which bugged me. Not rude but not very welcoming either. If you look at the guy in the home page of their app, that is a pretty good example of their attitude. Wannabe model attitude maybe? They were also bad-mouthing another staff member in clear earshot of customers. read more

Warby Parker Mosaic - This guy is the attitude of the staff. - Optometrists Near Me - Fairfax, Virginia

Great experience. I haven't gotten my eyes checked in a long time. My exam went flawlessly. Dr. Safner was very nice and professional. You can tell he cares about your eyes and is direct. After my exam Chad helped me find the perfect glasses. I can't wait to get them. They send them to your home address 7-10 business days. I will post a update review. read more

Why do I keep doing this to myself--every time I get Warby Parker glasses something goes janky with them in the first year. The lenses pop out or get scratched or the arms get twisted. Meanwhile, the $400 pair I got 20 years ago is still going strong... if only my eyes were still as strong and the style wasn't also 20 years old. Three stars instead of one star only because of the in person try on and the salespeople, who are generally friendly and helpful and keep me from doing the smart thing (paying $20 for a Zenni's pair). read more

Staff was really kind and helpful. They weren't pushy, but were there for questions. The frames are more trendy and in style than a lot of other eyeglasses stores. Also, the prices are amazing! read more

I have always ordered glasses from Warby Parker online (since they were an early startup) for a home try-on, so this was my first time stepping into a store. It was a pleasant experience. The staff checked you in through an iPad and then texted you when they were ready--a full on Apple store experience! While I wasn't there to try on frames I was there to get mine repaired. I had bought a pair only weeks before and had found one of the stems bent at the hinge. Karen used a tool to soften the plastic and try and bend the hinge back into place. Sadly it didn't work. But they offered to put the lenses in a new pair of frames that they had in stock. She was able to help get the glasses fitted and now these frames fit better than the originally did. I was thrilled. Great customer experience; I will now have to consider going to one of the storefronts next time I need a new pair of specs or when my prescription changes. I have 4-5 pairs of WP frames already so I was clearly already a fan of the product. I'm super against optometrists (especially at places like Kaiser) being connected to stores where they hard sell you on glasses after you get your prescription, and the crazy marked-up prices for a somewhat limited selection from the one company that basically owns the market (Luxxotica). I'm glad WP is a competitor in this space and will remain a fan. read more

I was promptly greeted at the entrance & told the young lady who waited on me that I only wanted to try on frames and would buy online later. She was extremely personable, briefed me on what I needed to know, answered all of my questions & let me browse away. Initially, I had a couple frames in mind but everything IMMEDIATELY changed once I stepped in front of the mirror. I tried on about 30 frames (this was also easy to do as there were only a couple of other customers)...not only was the selection truly SPECtacular (see what I did there) but the frames were solidly constructed & quite comfortable. I was encouraged to select all the frames I liked (decisions, decisions!) & was immediately emailed with my choices for future reference. What's more, Warby Parker is running a promotion: Buy two pairs, get 15% off. At $95 for a pair of frames AND lenses, the price can't be beat! read more

I had a great experience here! Walked in and was greeted right away. The store is clean, simple, and spacious. The employee made some suggestions and told me how the glasses are organized and let me poke around. Once I found a pair, it took almost no time to get everything ordered... and with Rx lenses the cost was only $95! I can't wait to get my new glasses soon. I walked out telling my husband this was the best glasses experience I'd had in 20+ years of wearing glasses! read more

Not sure if this review should include just our store experience or overall experience. I would give the store and staff 5 stars but I would give the whole experience one star. Our order sat waiting for 2 weeks before I contacted and they had a question about the lenses that the sales rep had already asked. Trying to get us to upgrade the lenses for and additional cost that we already turned down. After three contacts with them and given 3 different dates each pushing the date out- they are finally shipping. They couldn't even overnight them after all of this hold up on their part. Don't wait to hear from them you have to keep on them to get anything done. read more
