Anne, Karen, and Jewels helping me!

I've always been apprehensive and self-conscious about the process of admitting that I might losing your vision-- one of the most intimate parts of one's experience. I am roughly 30 years old and I've never worn glasses before but, historically, everyone in my family has precipitously lost their sight starting at 30-- after not needing a glasses their entire lives. On top of all this my grandmother lost a grueling battle with glaucoma. So I walked into the store with a lot of anxiety to the fact that I saw ed out of place since I don't know what I'm looking for since I'm not part of the vision impaired club. But this fog of self-doubt and negativity virtually dissipated when I saw how artfully each and every pair of glasses were celebrated for their infectious attitude. When I walked in I was greeted by Anne and Jewels and Karen. She somehow through some sort of alchemy made me feel like the ONLY patron in the store as she allowed me to unload all my reservations and qualms about the process. Due to her thorough knowledge, vast well of personal, industry, and striking problem solving skills: she was able to allay virtually all of my qualms; I could now think clearer. I think what makes Anna effective is that she is very sympathetic and is a great listener. She is able to inhabit the mind of the customer. Similarly, Jewels seemed to have a sixth sense where right before I would gesture or telegraph to look for an employee for assistance: she would already seem to be organically reading and diagnosing the Genesis of symptoms of my frustration or disquiet. For example, the ladies were nice enough to crudely chronicle, catalog, and color contrast my selections on scratch paper: when I had (internally) lost the internal color scheme that was set in motion--- jeopardizing my progress, virtual showed up; and from helping another customer and. minutes recalibrate my color scheme and remind me not to violate the color choreography with random glasses. She refocused me on the the harmony that she and I had established. Karen, Anna, and Jewels provide the best customer service however experienced at least in all of 2023 and 2024!

I needed new glasses so after hearing about their excellent customer service, I decided to give them a try. I used to walk by their boutiques and never really understood the "hype" and but now I do. When I went in I was immediately greeted, assisted and then left to peruse some frames, which I loved the fact that no one was following me around like a puppy, lol. It is a smaller place in terms of selection and at first, I didn't think there was much of one but there actually is. You have to keep in mind that they are only selling their wares, not like most stores that sell all sorts of different designers. I suppose this may turn some people away but you should really give them a try before you go anywhere else. The quality of the glasses is amazing. They take some insurances but make filing a claim very easy if they don't accept yours. All their policies are super customer friendly and they give back to society, which is a huge plus in my book. The selection is good, the pricing is competitive, even a bit less, and the service is stellar. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. My only suggestion would be to have more colored frame options, but for now, I am very happy with my new "eyes".

I only popped in for a quick look around & ended up buying a pair of Readers. My Sales Associate (I lost the card with both his & the Dr's name) shared all the insight on WP & the hoopla that comes with it...I bought in. I was happy to use my Health Insurance Flex Card as it was a better paying route then using my insurance straight out. After selecting my glasses, getting my face measured, confirming my information, submitting payment all on the iPad, my glasses were ordered & on the way...5-7 business days via USPS. After ordering you'll get some informative emails & not badgered with usual numerous marketing emails. You can get your Warby Parker frames adjusted for free at any of their stores. Great part is that you can exchange or return your glasses without question or additional money (unless it's an upgrade) within 30 days & a your receipt. Extremely simple process & price in buying a new pair of glasses.

    Nice glasses great service!!

I think this office is my favorite. I never have to wait. The front desk staff are organized, courteous, and professional. I was greeted by a receptionist and the assistant. They assistant performs a few eye tests before doctor comes in. She explained the testing process. One small complaint, I had to ask her if I was getting the a "glaucoma test". She said yes. Perhaps glaucoma tests are included as part of regular exam unlike in the past (at different doctor offices) I opted for the extra test. I was in and out within 15 or 20 min. The LensCrafters staff was waiting for me and escorted me next door to their store. This was great because some locations are so busy it takes a while to get someone to help you. He has a very warm demeanor and it shows that he cares. Unlike the other reviewer, I've never seen the office in disarray in my over 10 years there. I only have one low point to mention, and that was when he told me I shouldn't box anymore due to my over-stretched retina. I hope to visit him again when I'm back east. Addendum - Wow, I just read the one filtered review. Sounds BOGUS to me. In over TEN years there I've never experienced a bad receptionist, dirty office, an angry Dr. Davidson (??), pressure to use Sterling, or hidden charges. I actually have to have additional testing done due to high pressure in my eyes and he always gives me the option, along with the full information that I need. Thank you, I rest my case.

I had been looking to…read moreget LASIK for the past year and decided that this would the perfect time due to being able to work from home. A few things attracted me to EDOW: the convenient location (in Tyson's), the latest LASIK technology, the experienced doctors, transparent website with all the forms, risks, videos, etc. and it not being a massive chain. There was also a $1000 off promotion for PRK and Custom LASIK when I scheduled. I like that each LASIK procedure included a customized eye mapping to prevent some of the negative side effects (halos, glare, etc.) which I learned is not standard for all practices. The whole process was seamless from the initial free consultation that I was able to schedule for the following day to the post operative appointments. The initial consultation included a standard eye exam, cornea mapping, vision evaluation and eye health exam. Jon was extremely helpful in answering questions and explaining each step. My eyes were healthy and my corneas were thick enough so I was approved! I was able to schedule the pre-op, LASIK surgery and post-op immediately after the appointment. For the next two weeks, the tech instructed me to wear my glasses to allow my eyes to return to its natural shape. All the appointments are confirmed online which is very easy. The pre-op only took about 45 minutes. This is when my eyes were dilated, mapped, and the "true" prescription was assessed for the surgery. They also ordered my prescriptions through Friendly's Pharmacy for delivery to my home. The antibiotic and corticosteroid drops were delivered the following day. All very easy! The actual surgery day was about 2 weeks later at 2pm on a Thursday. I was in and out within 35 minutes! In the first room, Jon administered a bunch of drops (numbing, antibiotics, others) and also gave me a Valium. They also gave me glasses, eye shields, post care instructions and some lubricating drops for home. A few minutes later I walked to the LASIK suite where I laid down for the procedure. Dr. Kang explained each step and the expected feelings and sounds so I was completely at ease. I never felt any pain whatsoever. The first machine applied some pressure my eyes one at a time, my vision went temporarily blurry and then I was moved to the next machine to reshape the cornea. I focused on the green light and noticed the slight burning smell. But felt I absolutely no pain or discomfort at this point. The whole procedure lasted maybe 5-7 minutes. I then went a another room where Dr. Kang evaluated my eyes. I was then sent on my way! My vision was already was about the same as when I wore glasses just sensitive to light and a bit hazy. The first 2 hours were probably the most uncomfortable since my eyes felt heavy from the drops and I felt a bit dizzy. I napped with my face mask and new eye shield since my eyes just felt sensitive and tired. Two hours later I felt like a completely different person. I did wear sunglasses inside to avid glare and diligently began my eye drop regime. I was able to watch TV and that night without an issue. The following day was magical as I woke up with better vision than I had with contacts. I had very little dryness and none of the halos/glare/redness people talk about. That morning, I drove myself to for the post op where the optometrist said I had 20/15 and with almost no inflammation or discomfort. I even ran that afternoon. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice if considering LASIK. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and skilled. I attribute my speedy recovery and excellent results to them. Just remember those drops!!

Today, 4/23/26, I went in to waste time before my eye exam and peruse through the selection of new frames. I generally spend $2-3k a year on frames. When I walked in, no one greeted me or even acknowledged I was in the store. That was a first. Generally at this location everyone is friendly and helpful. Both workers were engaged in non-work conversation. My daughter and I overheard them speaking. There was no way they could have missed us. We were the only ones in the store. As we worked our way down trying on various frames, another Caucasian lady barely crossed the threshold into the store when one of the workers broke their conversation, and while walking briskly past us, screamed across the store, ' Ma'am, may I help you??'' I looked at my daughter and remarked to her that we'd been in the store for 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged we were there. I wondered if this was a racial issue. As the worker and the woman made their way closer to where my daughter and I continued to try on frames, the worked said, 'Could you move? I'm trying to show her something.' I said, 'Excuse me??' He responded, ' Move so I can show her something.' I said, ' Are you asking me to step aside??' He just waved his hand at me to move. At that moment, my daughter and I were convinced we were being treated poorly bc we're black. My daughter and I walked to the counter to find a manager bc that type of behavior will not be tolerated. A man walked from behind the glass and said, ' What do you need?' I asked him if he was the manager. He kind of agreed that he was kind of the manager. I explained to him what just happened and told him, and the other worker who had by then walked over, that his behavior was rude, dismissive and disrespectful. The worker half heartedly apologized and the so called manager said he would talk to him. I have no doubt the whole ordeal was forgotten the minute we walked out. My experience this time was poor for the lens fitting exam and better the next day for the annual eye exam. For the lens fitting exam, it's been a while but I remember the time back in 2019 when I first came to See Clearly, it was a doctor who did most of the vision test (reading the letters, using the instruments to check 1 or 2 is better, and doing the pressure test), now that's all done by an assistant. Which is fine I guess, to free up Dr time to save money and see more patients. After the assistant got a prescription and came back with a pair of lenses for me to try, the right eye was seeing a lot crisper, the left side was better but not as crisp as the right. Assistant said he'll get Dr Williams to check. Dr. Williams came in and did the 1 or 2, 3 or 4 process again and I guess my eyes were performing differently, after we did all that came back to the same prescription that the assistant got. During this process Dr. Williams was very impatient, got really annoyed at me for asking to see the different settings again and you can just tell she was not happy by the tone of her voice that I wasted her time. I'm just seeing a much crisper image with the right eye than the left, it seemed like it can't be improved anymore. Wish she were more patient and more understanding, I hope it's just an off day. I saw Dr. Williams in 2022 and I had a great experience, I recommended my coworkers and partner to see her and See Clearly in general. I've only had good experiences with the other Drs here over the years. Can only imagine that now being owned by a PE firm the practice has to hit higher profitability goals and have to see more patients with same number of hours from the Drs. I'm sorry that there is more pressure, hopefully things will change for the better. I came the next day for an annual eye exam and Dr. Baveja was very attentive and understanding.
