This is the opposite when it comes to Dr. Ly. It's so easy to make an appt online and the doctor sees you on time. Dr. Ly explains everything that she is doing and what each machine does during the eye exam. She is also keeps up to date with new types of eye wear such as blue-lens glasses and transition contacts; and will recommend the type of eye wear needed for your daily activities.

I feel bad for that man as most of his co-workers are nothing like him--they are rude, impatient, and, worst of all, condescending. Take for instance this past Sunday when I went to them for a tightening of the screws in my eyeglass hinges because they were getting too loose. After extensive, brazen lying that there was no way to tighten the screws, and that I was over-reacting, I realized the problem was not going to get fixed and went away. Later, I purchased precision screwdrivers myself and fixed the problem myself. So much for "the screws on your frames can't be tightened!-eh??" What a load of baloney.

I stocked up on eyeglass wipes and anti-fog spray and took the stash home in this adorable bag.

I booked an appointment with See and Co. and met with Dr. Emily and her kind and attentive staff. Dr. Emily inspected my eyes and conducted a series of vision tests with me which entailed reading various letters on a screen in various sizes and clarity. In the end, she confirmed that not much had changed if at all. However, she recommended that I choose a slightly lighter prescription in one of my lenses in order to reduce the effects of stigmatism which resulted in less dizziness while wearing glasses. I like the fact that she was very detailed and tried to recommend the best solution that suited me. I was in good hands. In addition to the personalized service, See and Co. offers very high quality name brand frames. I tried some of them on until we found the right one, an aviator-type with metal frame. And due to Covid, there was a system for sampling the frames. After each sampling, the frames were placed in a basket and ready to be sanitized before being touched by the next person. In addition to that, all of the staff was wearing masks. I felt safe knowing their Covid procedures were in effect. Moving on.. my frames were made onsite so I got them sooner rather than later! I'm very happy with the quality of the lens which were made to block both UV and blue light. It's very unique in that it somehow makes everything look a little brighter and a little more pleasant.. even on darker rainy days. I'm not sure what causes that, but it's awesome. My frames also came with a magnetic attachment which enables it to double as sunglasses. You just place the shades on the front of the frames and it stays.. very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend See and Co. and Dr. Emily. Had an awesome experience here.

There was a small issue with syncing my previous exam records, so they had to contact support to get it resolved, but they kept me informed and handled it professionally. The email notifications could use some improvement--the scheduling link in the email went to the wrong system--but the scheduling link on the website worked perfectly fine. I didn't buy new frames this time since my prescription didn't change and I'm still happy with my current pair. They do have a wide selection of frames, and while many lean toward the expensive side, the quality looks good and there are plenty of nice options to choose from. Overall, a positive experience and I'll continue coming back.

The front-of-house (front desk and the folks that fit your glasses) are often very young, unprofessional, and not well-informed about eyewear or basic customer service. They struggle to answer questions clearly, offer poor or incorrect advice, and overall seem unsure of how to communicate with patients. For anyone getting glasses for the first time or navigating more complex vision needs, this can quickly become a frustrating and stressful experience. You truly need to do your own research ahead of time and know exactly what you're looking for before you walk in--otherwise you may end up in a nightmare scenario. Scheduling appointments is another challenge. Every phone call feels like an inconvenience to them; the tone is unhelpful, rushed, and sometimes even dismissive. There's often audible sighing or irritation when trying to find an appointment time that works. It's clear they don't want to be there, and unfortunately it shows in the service. The only reason I continue to return is because this is the closest location covered by my insurance. If proximity or insurance coverage isn't an issue for you, I would strongly recommend choosing a different provider. The doctors are excellent, but the overall experience is significantly downgraded by the front desk staff.

While waiting for them to cut lenses Peter gave great recommendations to a Nepalese joint! And then upon returning to pick up my eye ware I saw a pair of sunglasses and they were able to put my prescription in them. I can't wait to come back and try on the sunglasses when they're ready! He get's one star just because he and his staff all speak english which I can understand. Ahhh, isn't communication a wonderful thing when it comes to your health. I liked that you can fill out all your new patient info on their web site. The staff was nice and friendly. I had a 930a appointment that I was five minutes early for. I was seen after 10 minutes so not too bad. The Doc, is very professional, very! The testing process is very thorough which I liked.
