This was my first visit with my entire family and all I can say is this place did not disappoint. From the server to the food everyone was so nice and the food was 10/10 . The inside of the restaurant is quite charming offering a pleasant atmosphere I will definitely be back soon.
Came here for brunch. We ordered the Smokey Salmon Benny and Omega Bowl. The Smokey Salmon Benny was good. Loved the combo of smoked salmon with Hollandaise sauce. The eggs tasted great and the avocado was creamy. The English muffin was toasted well. The salad was great with the Italian dressing. Great brunch option. The Omega Bowl was good, too. Big portion size. Excellent mix of veggies with the grilled salmon. There was cucumber, edamame, tomatoes, avocado, arugula, spinach, and lettuce. The quinoa was delicious. The sweet potatoes tasted great. Loved the sesame dressing. Tasty and healthy is an excellent combination. We ended the meal with their boba drinks: Passion Fruit Green Tea with Boba and Honey Citron Kumquat Green Tea with Lychee Jelly. The Passion Fruit Green Tea was sweet and a little bit tart. Great balance of flavors and the boba were nice and chewy. The Honey Citron Kumquat Green Tea was refreshing. The Kumquat flavor mixed well with the green tea and the lychee jelly gave it a great texture. Service was great. Very efficient and friendly staff. Did not have to wait too long for our food to arrive. Great vibes in Berkeley. Glad to have stopped here for brunch.
Found this place with some friends on a Monday morning and it was so good I can't wait to go back! When we arrived there was a slight line out the door and throughout our entire meal maintained a line through the doors. The inside is a bit smaller but very well maintained and decorated so cute. They were very busy but with good reason everything was amazing. Everyone in our group ordered something different so we could get a feel for the variety they offered and everyone enjoyed their meals so much the table was quiet. Service was a tad bit long and we were surprised since it was Monday morning but now we understand why. It is locally owned so please be patient with wait time as it is a smaller staff but the wait is beyond worth it. Even though I don't live in Berkeley this will easily be a go to spot any time in the area.
A cute brunch spot on Solano with a menu that makes you want to come back and try more. Went today with Face for breakfast after wanting to try this place since Monday. Luckily there was no line and we were seated immediately. I ordered the Carb Platter, which came with French toast, a croffle, waffle, fruit, berries, a creamy dipping sauce, and a side of bacon. The French toast was definitely the standout for me -- really flavorful and well done. The waffle had a nice crisp texture, and the croffle was buttery with good flavor as well. The bacon unfortunately missed the mark. It was very limp and chewy instead of crispy, almost like it had been boiled rather than cooked properly. Face ordered the California Omelette, which came with potatoes topped with a garlic pesto situation that was honestly really good. For drinks, I had the caramel latte, which was decent but could've used a little more sweetness. Face ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which had an adorable bear-shaped matcha ice cube on top -- super cute presentation -- though she also felt it could've used a bit more strawberry flavor and sweetness. Overall, definitely a place I'd come back to because there were several other things on the menu I'd like to try. Street parking only and metered, so plan ahead a little. Also realized this is where the old pastrami spot used to be -- RIP
My friends and I were very excited to try this spot, but it unfortunately missed the mark. The interior was cute and the potatoes were not bad, but the service was quite disappointing. We all wanted to get the strawberry matcha for their iconic cute bear on top, but they ended up not having it. What made it even worse was that they didn't bother telling us until after we received our drinks. They also gave us boba straws, and when we asked for regular white straws (which we saw being given to other tables), they told us to keep what we had because our drinks contained strawberry. They even took away our utensils while we were waiting for our food, and we had to wait a good 10 minutes after the food arrived just to flag someone down and get them back. Honestly, our list of grievances went on, but it was not great, to say the least. I'm not one to bash service, and I understand when a place is busy, but their overall attitude could have been much better. The wait was around 30 minutes to get a table at 12:45 PM. The strawberry matcha was very sweet and tasted like artificial green tea ice cream. I ordered the garden scramble, which was just okay--I could honestly make a better one at home. Overall, I don't think I would recommend this spot.
We came on a random afternoon - and got lucky with a table right away! Almost immediately after, the place started filling up. Definitely a great new addition to the community. Staff was kind, prompt. Checked on us appropriately without being intrusive and vice versa. Plenty of parking including meter and street. Portions are HUGE! The star of the show was the carb sampler (and the side of potatoes dare i say). And don't skip out on the coffee/ other drinks. Otherwise, definitely a good (but not amazing) brunch. Still would come back. Plenty of space to catch up with a friend. Clean.
This was our first time here, and we really enjoyed the food! I got the salmon Benedict, my husband ordered an omelette, and we also got a waffle to go. Everything tasted great and had lots of flavor. We definitely plan on coming back! The only reason I wouldn't give the experience a full 5 stars was the customer service. Since it was our first time, I asked our waitress for recommendations and her opinion on a few menu options, but the response was mostly just that "everything is good." She wasn't rude at all, but I was hoping for a little more guidance, and the interaction felt a bit rushed. She may have just been busy, so I completely understand! Overall, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back to try different food options off of the menu.
Found a little gem on Solano Ave! My friend invited me here, and I'm so glad she did. I got the ribeye steak with house-fried potatoes and scrambled eggs, plus a latte. My friend ordered the Royale Benedict. Everything was SO good-- flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!
A solid breakfast/brunch choice on Solano Ave with a lot of seating suitable for small and big groups. There's only street parking so you might have to circle a few times to find a spot. We waited about 15min to be seated. The Garden Scramble and Meat Lovers' Scramble both came with an Acme toast slice and very well seasoned potatoes that had a green sauce that gave them a perfect touch. We didn't like that the avocado in the Garden Scramble was mixed in the scramble instead of put as a topping. The Meat Lovers' Scramble was our favorite for a good balance of meats and veggies, which didn't make it too heavy of a dish. The Spam Fried Rice was also one of our favorites! The sweet potatoes and spam was not a combo we knew we needed in our fried rice but it was delicious! The eggs over it and seaweed on the side brought it all together. We finished with the Carb Sampler. A sample of their French toast, waffle, and croffle topped with fruit and a house made whipped cream. The French toast was the winner of the three for its fluffiness. We didn't think the grapes on the croffle was a good combo, but the croffle itself was really good. Although the staff was really nice, the service was lacking all around. We saw a lot of people around us also trying to flag down a server. We waited some time to get utensils at the beginning of our meal and then again at the end to get our bill. They only checked on us once so they weren't as attentive.
Even through the wait time was 11-23 minutes, the seating was fast and the place was packed. Everyone seemed to be enjoying what they were eating. Tables were solid wood and easy to clean and we were attended pretty fast with just enough time to browse the menu without feeling rushed. When the food arrived, man it was way tastier than we expected. Everything was fresh, you can tell they put the time into each dish, and even the coffee (no pictures because we drank it too fast) was fresh and didn't taste like an old pot. Will be coming back for sure.

I was beyond pleased with the quality and taste of everything. It has quickly become one of my top favorite breakfast spots. Their menu offers so many options beyond just breakfast, which I absolutely love. The variety makes it easy to want to come back and try something new each time. As we walked in, a man said, "The food was amazing," and it definitely lived up to his comment. The service was great. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. The ambiance is nice, though seating is limited indoors and there's no outdoor seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty full, but we didn't have to wait for a table. The art and decorations are beautiful, and the women's restroom was clean. Parking was definitely a challenge on a Friday at 12 PM since the area is busy overall. There's no designated customer parking--only street parking that you must pay for. We were able to find a spot after looping around a couple of times. 10/10 -- I strongly recommend this amazing breakfast/brunch spot! I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.
Nice place for a lunch if your out strolling Solano Ave. Ambiance: 4/5 Nice, modern ambiance in here. Not a huge dining area, but it has a nice vibe. Food: 5/5 I really enjoyed my food. I got a breakfast sandwich and my wife got the veggie scramble. The food was really good and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Price: 3/5 The price was fairly average restaurant price for the area. Not great, not bad. Customer Service: 2.3-3/5 The servers were all very nice, they just got some things wrong and forgot some things. My father-in-law ordered over medium eggs and they brought out scrambled, then we ordered coffee and they didn't bring out any cream or sugar (or even ask if we wanted any) and they didn't come around much to fill up the water jug. It was average busy, not really busy. They definitely need to tighten those things up. Parking: 2/5 It's parking on Solano, so it's going to depend on the day how easy it will be to find parking. And it's paid parking on the street, so don't forget to pay the meter.
Come early because this place has a line out the door! If you want table seating, the entire party must be present. We ordered the ABC Panini and Beef Teriyaki and I'd say it's a pretty well portioned and priced meal. Service was great as well. Parking is easy to find so I definitely would come back!

We were in the neighborhood dropping off donations and wanted to try something new. We found O2 Eatery on Yelp and decided to try it, and yes, we are so happy that we did! When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly face that gave us the option to choose the table that worked best for us. Looking around, the decor is pretty cool. There is a wall with faux black crocodile skin that makes the screen pop against it. There is another wall with a biophillic backdrop and a neon sign that is really cool to look at. The entire restaurant is really clean, and the hanitizer is available at the front door when you walk in. We ordered the carb sampler, which had French toast, waffles, and a croffle. I ordered the chicken and waffles. I need to order the chicken and waffles again! The chicken was juicy even though it was white meat. The crispy coating on the chicken was light and not greasy. The only thing that would make it better would be to add Frank's Red Hot sauce. For the carb sampler, my partner was in LOVE with the croffle. He said that it was so buttery, and you could still detect the many layers of croissants that were artfully flaky. He also ordered the oat milk latte and said that he must order that again! Breakfast with my daughter. We ordered the carb sampler (trio) on the mobile app because it was close to nap time. The order said ready in 35 minutes thankfully it was ready in 15 minutes. They offered us to go silverware and syrup with only 1 napkin for a toddler we made do. I enjoyed the croffle the best. A buttery, flakey croissant covered with A Chantilly cream and fruit. My daughter loved the brioche French toast soft and gooey with a cream and fruit. All the fruit was extra fresh. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about the waffle. It was crispy and cold. Went up to Berkeley to visit friends on a warm summer day and decided to come here for brunch. One thing I forgot about Berkeley is that most of the restaurants don't have A/C so when the weather gets warmer the whole place heats up. That on top of slow service really took away from the experience. By the time the food came I was starving so on the plus side that meant that the food was delicious. I had the salmon bento which was slightly underflavored in my opinion, the salad could have definitely used more dressing and the salmon more teriyaki sauce considering all the rice it came with but overall not bad. I appreciated that it came with two pieces of fish considering how hungry I was. I also tried the chicken and waffles from a friend and the chicken there was delicious. read more

Food and coffee were excellent! Service was excellent and we got our orders quickly. My friend's eggs Benny were beautiful. The home fries were crispy on the outside and inside creamy. My Ca omelette was yummy and I substituted the cheddar cheese for Jack. Next time I'll eliminate the red onions tho. Plan to ho back for their lunch box. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Server was friendly. The dishes were beautiful, topped with fresh and sweet berries. The crispy chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside -really good. The waffles were crisp and light. I wasn't really impressed by the croffles, though. It seemed like they just pressed a croissant in a waffle iron, which took away the fluffiness that I expect from a croissant. This was a fun place to catch up with a friend! read more

Overall, all the food was delicious and the plating was gorgeous. The carb sampler had a perfect amount of everything allowing you to have a bit or two for each. If you have a sweet tooth you'd definitely enjoy this. My favorite was a croffle. It had a slight crunch and was buttery. The toast was perfectly fluffly and the waffle was super crispy. If you love crispy waffles this is for you. The champions bowl was hearty and savory. The potatoes were nice and crisp, but they could've given more meat. My friends rated it a 7-8/10. The food is a bit pricy, but if you have some money to splurge on a good breakfast, definitely check this place out! read more

My friend arrived early on a Sunday to get the table while she waited 10 min for us to park because it got packed! The service was friendly and casual, not slow nor fast but we were planning for staying for quite a while and they didn't mind. I ordered the iced match latte for the cute green bear ice topping and it was good! The menu is Asian inspired and love their various options other than the standard bfast places. The food is good portion, tastes on point, quality and presentation are just so colorful, it is on the pricier side so worth it. I got the carb sampler, love the fruits, and friends got omelette, wanna go back and try the lunch items for sure! read more

Some of the best brunch I've ever had! Eggs Benedict was very tasty, and the potatoes were done very well. Crispy on the outside, and not too soft on the inside. Is necessary to make reservation?
No reservations are necessary. Walk ins are welcome.
How about a vegan option? It's hard to eat out for breakfast when you don't eat eggs. Tofu scramble? Eggless waffle? Soyrizzo?
I believe they do, but would recommend you call them and ask. I know they have avocado toast but am unsure whether the bread is vegan.
Anything gluten free?
We have Gluten Free bread upon request. You can order pretty much anything with Gluten free toast.
