    Avocado toast and savory porridge
    Vivian L.

Staff here was so friendly. The cafe is really cute with multiple places to sit. I saw some people doing work here. The employees told me they serve seasonal dishes. I also got a tea that was very good. Food came out quick. The savory porridge was very filling and the avocado toast was also loaded with avocado!! Very happy :)

I'm so disappointed in this place because it seemed like a cozy hidden gem, a little hole in the wall, but the coffee unfortunately fell flat for me. I ordered an iced mocha and was given a hot mocha. That's not against them, but it has to be noted. The coffee didn't even taste like coffee. It tasted like hot water. I tasted neither coffee nor mocha. The pastry case had flies in them and I just felt like I overpaid for a cup of hot water. I was disappointed because the location and the name seemed cute. The service was very kind too I just didn't enjoy the coffee at all.

    Epic scone!

Best scone I've ever had! Stacy and Sara have the scone recipe perfected. It's a must try. The vibe here is wonderful. You'll feel welcomed and nourished. The cafe has greenery inside and out. They also host community events like the Paella Party with live cooking and education.

Dirty chai (black) and the spearmint mocha

Everything from the service to the food to the ambience was stellar. We started off with a scone which was probably the best scone I've had in my life--it was perfectly crumbly on the outside and soft on the inside. The Persian breakfast, one of their signatures, was refreshing while the prosciutto toast packed some big flavors. Overall, we had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back soon!

Avocado Toast w/ egg & Macchiato

If you're looking for a cozy spot with delightful food options, Evergreen is your go to! I had the avocado toast with egg and macchiato, it was full of avocado deliciousness and topped with yummy cherry tomatoes. Service was excellent- the servers were kind and helpful. Definitely check it out for yourself :)

    Latte

Great good food , great service 100% recommend it. Stop by and enjoy one of many delicious meals and pastry! Good vibes

what's left of possibly the best scone I've ever had.

The only issue is there's no clear menu posted online, so we walked in completely blind. Their website shows a long list of flavors but not what they actually have that day, so it felt like a guessing game. The line moved really slow because there was only one employee handling everything. She was taking orders, giving samples, answering questions, and ringing people up all at once. She was super friendly and doing her best, but it felt like a lot for one person during a rush and the shop could definitely use more help. The space is really small and tight so it was hard to even see the flavors until we got close to the front. When we finally got up there, a lot of the tubs were already empty which was confusing since most ice cream shops restock. Some flavors I wanted weren't available anymore, and if they're out it would make more sense to just remove them from display. The dirty containers didn't make sense to display. I sampled the jasmine green tea and knew right away I wanted it. It was creamy with a smooth tea flavor that wasn't overpowering. I got a small with half jasmine green tea and half avocado. The avocado was surprisingly really good, super creamy and tasted like a fresh avocado smoothie. Both flavors weren't overly sweet which I liked. My husband wanted cookies and cream but it was sold out so he got chocolate chip instead, which was solid and creamy with good texture. Overall the ice cream itself was good, not the best I've had but definitely not bad. I like that the flavors lean more natural and not overly sweet. I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area, but the experience would be a lot better with faster service and more consistency with what's actually available.

The churro one was a standout, lightly dusted with sugar and cinnamon, just enough to give it flavor without being over-the-top sweet. The black sesame had a really nice nutty depth that came through well. The chocolate funnel cake flavor was okay, nothing particularly memorable, with the caramel one leaning a bit too sweet for my taste. Also tried the strawberry and mango matcha drinks. Both had a solid fruit purée presence, which balanced nicely with the matcha. Threw in a potato corn dog too, it was super crispy on the outside, with a fun textural contrast from the potato cubes.

That last one... let me tell you, it's incredible. It comes with vanilla ice cream and mango on top... just perfect. The service was excellent, super friendly, and it also arrived really fast (about 30-40 minutes). Everything was delicious. We loved it Definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

I liked all of their Kouign Amanns a lot, especially the strawberry one which added a nice fruit element! Their kouign amanns have very crispy layers and very flaky. I'd honestly recommend all 6 of the pastries we tried, especially since the prices for this place are lower (~$6) than some other high quality bakeries around the Oakland and SF area. The decor inside the bakery is really cute and there are quite a few small tables you can sit at to enjoy the baked goods. Service was nice and fast.
